Can an alien warrior who has given up hope find a new future with the woman and child who need him?
Joanna is snatched away from her peaceful academic life and sold to K’herra, a forbidding alien warlord. To her relief, he only wants her as a caretaker for his precocious daughter, Sultavi.
A year later, Lord K’herra is dead, and Joanna and Sultavi are on the run from his killers. Their only hope is to locate a down-on-his-luck mercenary who owes K’herra a debt of honor. Joanna doesn’t expect to find a massive green warrior with the saddest eyes she’s ever seen.
Craxan lost his family and his future in the great plague that decimated the Cire race. Since then, he’s led a hollow life using his warrior skills for anyone who can pay.
When the daughter of an old acquaintance appears, demanding his assistance, he reluctantly agrees to help her. But the delightful little girl – and the enchanting human female who accompanies her – quickly win him over.
He promises to take them to safety, but the more time he spends with them, the more he is convinced that they belong with him. He finally has a cause worth fighting for – but even if he can keep them safe from their enemies, what does a worn-out warrior have to offer?
Each book in the Treasured by the Alien series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy HEA is intended for adults only.
I just love this series. Every time I need a hit of sweet that's gonna make my heart swell a little and make me say "Awww" I know right where to go.
I love these tough Cire warriors and how they cherish their women and open their hearts to these orphan children as if they were their own. Too sweet, yet sexy as hell as well!! 💖🔥🔥🔥😍

Me enganchó enseguida.
Me dio mucha pena Suzanna.
3 stars. I’d say these are guilty pleasures books, but I’m not liking the idea about being “guilty” about anything I read.
I need to come up with a different word for it.
Also, not gonna lie and say I don’t enjoy all the alien romance. They’re great pallet cleansers and perfect when you need something a bit lighter. Something you don’t have to concentrate on. And these are perfect for just that.
The Nanny and the Alien Warrior is book five in the Treasured by the Alien series by Honey Phillips & Bex McLynn. This title can be read as a standalone.
I adore returning to this world with its sweet lovable caring aliens, adorable children, and smart capable women. Each new installment brings me joy and something new to love.
Joanna, was sold to be a human nanny, but when the Lord is dead she and her ward must go into hiding.
Craxan, is a Cire warrior who lost his family in the great plague that decimated his race.
This is a sweet alien romance about found families and adoption. I was hooked on Joanna’s story and couldn’t put it down. She is an older heroine and I liked that about her. She dedicated her life to her career and never expected to have kids, but she adopts Sultavi as her own and adores that little girl. Craxan spent his life going from one job to another and never expected to find his mate, but he knows instantly that Joanna is his. He’s protective, but also caring. He was considerate and sweet to Joanna and Sultavi. I couldn’t help, but fall in love with him.
The attraction is instant; because they are fated, but their relationship is a slow-build. They don’t jump into bed, which I liked. The author gave them time to progress a relationship.
The Nanny and the Alien Warrior is a sweet and wonderful alien romance filled with family and love. I can’t wait to dive into the next book!
This is the fifth book in a series set in the same universe with some cross over of characters. Much of the world-building is done in earlier books, but you can follow the story without that knowledge.
Joanna is a professor at a small and friendly college, resigned to a life without a family after her long term relationship ended. Single and childless she loves teaching, and her students, but is often lonely. When she is abducted by aliens, whilst trying to save one of her students, her life is turned on its head. She is sold as a slave to a wealthy alien Lord who wants a nanny for his young daughter.
In this part of the galaxy, women are scarce as there was a severe plague that killed massive portions of the population, most of which were women. Joanna’s owner was sick of his nanny’s getting married so decided to buy a slave instead. However, he didn’t mistreat her and seemed to see her as a valued employee who couldn’t leave or get paid.
When there is a coup and Tavi’s father is killed, she runs with her charge, helped by loyal followers. Finally, she is rescued by Craxan a Cire mercenary and gets off-planet on a cargo ship by offering to work their way to somewhere safe.
As with all the other books in this series I really loved the characters. I really liked that Joanna wasn’t in the first flush of youth. She is not slim and pretty, but round and ordinary looking. The way she looks after Tavi is so sweet and I really like that when she first arrived to look after Tavi she noticed her getting a bit spoiled and worked hard to put a stop to it. Tavi is sweet-natured and quite good at getting her own way, so everyone finds it hard to resist her.
Joanna is intelligent and interesting to read about. She is strong and compassionate and having Tavi has helped her stay that way. Craxan has had a hard life and lost everyone he has ever loved. He’s a strong warrior and longs to have someone worthwhile to protect.
Though this is a fated mates type story, it takes a little while in close quarters in unusual circumstances to get the romance going. I liked that it took some navigating.
The supporting characters were all really well rounded and thought out carefully. They were engaging and entertaining.
Most of the world-building was done in the previous books, but I still felt this book managed to convey the essence of the part of the galaxy that Joanna ended up in.
The plot was intriguing and entertaining with a few twists along the way. Though at its heart this is a romance, there is still enough plot to keep everyone engaged, even the most hard-hearted cynic.
This is a very sweet romance, with some very tender moments, but it’s not sickly sweet. It’s also got plenty of passion and heat to counter-balance the sweet.
If you are in the market for hot and sweet alien romances, this is a good place to look.
Oh, MAN. I really like the Cire males and their utterly sweet devotion to their special lady friend once they find her. Their equally sweet protective devotion to any children that might be tagging along (whether the children are theirs by blood or not) is the cherry on top. These Cire's are seriously sweet.
Seriously sweet.
In this case, Joanna is in a dangerous situation with her ward and Craxan helps pull her out of it. While he's given up hope of ever finding a mate for himself, the moment he sees Joanna, it's all over for him. The guy is smitten. He's equally smitten with Tavi and he'll basically do anything to keep his newfound family safe.
Sweet, steamy, a little dangerous, and VERY fun. Like I said, I like these Cire males and the ladies who capture their attention. *thumbs up*
This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be my last. It is a romance story that has danger mixed in. I loved the hero Craxan, who is a mercenary, and how he saves Sultavi and her nanny Joanna when their home is attacked by a ruthless relative in a power take over. To escape the planet, they pretend to be a family but it quickly becomes something they all want and need. I enjoy stories that have young children added, especially when their dialogue is well written and adds a lot to the story which is how Sultavi is portrayed by the author. This is a story that I would highly recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and are voluntarily leaving a review.
Craxan is at as crossroads when a message meant for his mentor comes to him, A plea for help, calling in an old debt. An honorable warrior, Craxan will do this in his mentor's honor... but he has no idea what he's really getting into.
Joanna probably can't decide if her life would be better or worse if her charge, Sultavi were a brat. Instead she's A charmer who has stolen her Nanny's heart, and chances of returning to the life she was kidnapped from a year ago.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read centers on two people at a moment when everything is changing, and they have to figure out how they are going to move forward... each needs to create A new normal, and is finding they feel stronger, better together... maybe they don't have to start over alone?
It's time for another series, but this time by Honey Phillips and Bex McLynn. Treasured by the Alien are a series of books that follow the same formula. An older woman is taken from Earth and is accompanied by a child, not always their own, and are subsequently saved by a lizard like alien called a Cire and then they fall in love and form a found family unit.
This book follows Joanna and Craxan. This one is pretty good, Joanna was taken a while ago and is now a live in nanny for an alien girl. It's got political upheaval and rebellion too which I'm a sucker for.
From a corner in a bar, to a family built to last, this book hit all of the bases for me. I love all of the characters! The author took such care creating them, then adding depth, and color and personality. Even the bad guys brought something special to the story! I enjoyed the struggle for survival, the glimpses into how it began, and the romance that brought it all together. This book was an amazing read and I am looking forward to seeing what happens next.
Series: Treasured by the Alien #5 Rating: 4 stars - It was really good
When Joanna is abducted by aliens, she expects the worst. Instead she is purchased by an alien warlord to be the nanny for his adorable little girl named Sultavi. Unfortunately, a year later the warlord is dead and Joanna and Sultavi are on the run.
This was a wonderful alien romance about found family and adoption. I was hooked by Joanna’s story from the very beginning and didn’t want to put it down. Joanna is an older and more mature heroine and I found I really loved that, especially considering she dedicated her life to her career (which is what I have done). She never expected to have kids but she adopts Sultavi as her own and lavishes the little girl with love. I adored her for that. This book just shows how great adoption can be for the kids and the parents.
Craxan was a Cire warrior who has spent his life going from one job to another. He never expected to find his mate but knows instantly Joanna is his. Craxan was a protective but also very sweet hero and I adored him. He was so loving and considerate to Joanna and Sultavi I just couldn’t help but fall in love with him. Also Craxan was a great friend to Jeb and I really wish we had seen more of that friendship in this book.
These two have instant attraction because they are fated to be together but their relationship is still slow progressing. They don’t just jump into the bed together, which I loved. I really enjoyed the intimate moments of making out, talking, and flirting before they even fully mated. Also I just loved the family moments in this book and how they worked together to take care of Sultavi.
Overall, this was a wonderful alien romance filled with lots of love and family. I can’t wait to read the next book!
*sips* Yup, just as sweet as my honey-laden milk tea. Thank you for the recommendation Nikki!
I only found one thing rather annoying: the usual annoyances of mars-needs-women romance - human females pitted against each other. The heroine thinks a lot about how the other 2 women who show up in this book are skinnier, younger, better dressed, etc than her. UGH.
‘Treasured by the alien’ is a fantastic alien series. I really enjoy the stories in this series. ‘The nanny and the alien warrior’ was another great book!
After Joanna, a human woman, is abducted from Earth, she’s bought as a slave by Lord K’herra (an important and wealthy man). He wants her to be the nanny of his six year old daughter Sultavi. Unfortunately, Sultavi’s father is murdered one year by later a relative who wants his power and position. His daughter Sultavi is also in danger, so she and Joanna flee the house and go into hiding. To be truly safe, they must leave the planet. No easy taks! Luckily, there are still people willing to help them. One of the people called upon for help is the Circe alien Craxan, a mercenary. When Craxan receives a message for his deceased friend and mentor Vanha Pasken about a debt, his initial reaction is to ignore it, but he’s intrigued. So he goes to Alliko to find out what the message means, unaware that he would find a human woman and an alien child in danger. When he meets Joanna and Sultavi, he feels something he has never felt for a woman before. But the danger is great, fortunately they can escape the planet in a spaceship that is owned by a sarcastic captain. During the journey to a safe place, they get to know each other and the spaceship’s crew better. During their journey, they encounter more danger and also rescue another human woman and her child. It’s an interesting journey, but the question is what will happen when they find a safe place to stay. Will Joanna and Sultavi stay with Craxan? And are they truly safe from danger?
Craxan was great! Like so many Cire men, he lost his family to illness and now after losing his best friend and mentor, he was alone in the world, searching for something or someone. He had already giving up hope when he met Joanna. He may be a mercenary but he was really a good guy. He was so worried that he wasn’t worthy of love and wouldn’t be a good provider, but thankfully, Joanna made it clear that he was a wonderful man and he was! He was very protective and strong. But he also gave Joanna the freedom to be herself. It was so sweet so see how wonderfully he interacted with Sultavi. He cared deeply for her. Joanna was also a great character. Although she hated being a slave, she loved Sultavi like she was her own daughter. She was protective of her but also strict when necessary. She was also a good mate for Craxan.
The spaceship crew was very interesting and made the journey entertaining. Each person had their own unique personality. Captain Merios was a mysterious character. He was a sarcastic pirate, but he hid a kind heart. He helped a lot of people in his own way. His grandmother Rissta was the cook and she had a strong personality. She was a woman you didn’t want to get mad, but just like her grandson she also had a kind heart. Yengik was a shy, young man. Jed was a very likeable character, he was quiet but a good man. Suzanne was another human female who had been abducted and later rescued. It took me some time to like her, after a bad experience, she was now anxious, distrustful, and not very friendly. It’s understandable that she was scared and wary of alien men but still she wasn’t very kind in the beginning. The crew made the story more funny and special in their own way. The ending surprised me a bit but in the end I think it was the right decision Joanna and Craxan made.
The story was told from both POV’s and the story was both sweet and steamy. It’s about two lonely people and an orphan child who find a new family with each other.
This was a surprisingly sweet sci-fi alien romance. It had plenty of steam, but many sweet moments as well. The alien H (and his entire race) adored children, and it was so sweet how he would do anything for them. The way the alien H looked was a bit different, but that didn't seem to bother the h.
I liked both Craxan and Joanna, but wasn't sure I would like Craxan at first. He seemed a bit hardened by the losses in his life. He soon became a total sweetheart to Joanna and little Sultavi, though, and would have done anything for them. I also really liked little Sultavi -- she seemed like such a sweet little girl, and I loved that both Joanna and Craxan adored her.
Overall, I really liked this book. My favorite parts were the interaction between the aliens and the children. They all fell madly in love with all the children, and it didn't matter to them at all whether they were human, alien, or mixed species.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
I want to be treasured by an Alien Warrior ! Please💖 😘
I have to say I !I've the results when these two authors get together and write a story. My heart melts into a puddle of goo and I'm always left wanting more💖😍 Craxan, is a Ciresia male whose planet was also devastated by a plague that killed almost of of his species females. He is a lonely warrior who has lost his whole family including most recently a teacher who was more a second father. Lost and aimless until he is called upon to rescue a female and a child. Joanna, was stolen by alien slavers at the college she taught at. She's an older women and when she was sold, she was bought by a male looking for a card taker for his young daughter. A child that Joanna comes to love as her very own. When that child's life is in danger she will risk anything to save her. When she meets Craxan she is so thankful that the warrior agrees to help them. As the navigate the rescue an attraction grows quickly between them. But not only a romantic one both of them find the family that they lost and now don't ever want to live with out. They is just enough drama, danger and tension to add more depth to Craxan and Joanna's passionate romance as well as the most heart touching moments that see both of them and little Tavi become a beautiful family . I love this series it's one of my most favorites! I hope this collaboration continues female r a long time to come ! Fantastic story and I highly recommend you give it a read you won't be disappointed 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Human Joanna was snatched from Earth and her peaceful academic life by alien slavers and sold to an alien warlord called K’herra as a nanny to his precocious daughter, Sultavi. Sadly a year later finds him dead and Joanna and Sultavi are on the run from the killers who want to use the child to take over his title and assets. Their only hope is the help of a mercenary who owes K'herra a debt of honour and they find themselves in the protection of a green warrior called Craxan with incredibly sad eyes. Craxan lost his family to a plague that decimated the Cire race and has reluctantly agreed to help them but the little girl and human female quickly win him over but the more time he spends with them the more he is convinced that they belong with him - but can this worn-out warrior keep them safe?
I really enjoyed this story which clearly showed that family does not have to be a direct blood relative. Sultavi was a typical precocious child and it was a joy to see the way she had Craxan completely under her thumb trying to please her and make her happy. I loved Joanna and how protective she was of the little girl while also being a strong and jealous mate for Craxan. Well written and easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
Okay there was a part in this book where Johanna was being very inconsiderate toward another human woman who was also captured. Susanna. Unlike Johanna, who didn’t experience sexual abuse while she was babysitting, Susanna was. And a child was a product of it. Now craxon rescues Susanna, and gains her trust after he went back to rescue her son as well. Therefore Susanna (Who is traumatized, rightfully so.) trusts craxon and looks to him for comfort. Not touching, just looking for support. Johanna is jealous of this, and it’s like.... as a girl you should know the impact of sexual abuse, but Johanna finds herself being short and a little snappy when interacting with Susanna. Like your this bitter over her staring at ur man like he did not just rescue her. Mind u Susanna is being a bad bitch and she doesn’t act like a scared little thing and let her trauma get the better of her. But it’s like Johanna, why aren’t you there for ur fellow human woman. Like this book ain’t takin sexual assault seriously, there fucking right after depositing Susanna to her room like a reader doesn’t want to swallow all this
If you are following my reviews, that title makes more sense to you.
So, I read the next book. I had already bought it and I wanted to see what the next one had in store.
I’m very happy with how it ended, even though I wanted to know what happed to the other couple. As much as I would like to think that the next book is about them in more detail, I have not noticed such a pattern from the authors. We may get a whole new couple that may cross their path, who knows when, and we will hear more about them that way.
It still bugs me, even though I know it’s not needed, that I have no concrete age for people. Maybe it’s a sign that I’ve read too many bad smut stories.
Once again they ended up far differently than I thought they would be by the time I was more than halfway through the book. And that’s a good thing.
This is a good one. There is action, and plans. Things are happening. I like how they came together in the story too.
Yet another great book in the series. And stead of being used as a breeder, Joanna was bought by the ruler of his country to be a nanny for his daughter. During the year that she was a nanny to Sultavi she fell in love with the little girl and thought of her more as a daughter. Joanna wasn’t treated as a slave, she was treated with respect, and was left to teach and raise Tavi. After Tavi‘s father is betrayed, she is on the run with Joanna who will do anything to protect the little girl. They need to get off the planet, and they had just the person to do it. Craxan was mourning the loss of his friend when he was approached for a job that was meant for his friend. He knew he would have to do it. He was very glad he did when he met Joanna and the little girl. The book is fantastic and once again it is about a family made up of the heart. It’s a fantastic tale with amazing characters. I would have to say so far this is my favorite, but all of the books are amazing.
Joanna and Sultavi escape from Lord K’herr’s home then smuggled off planet by Craxan. Joanna had been kidnapped from Earth and had ended up as the nanny for Lord K’herr’ of Sodan's young daughter Sultavi but when he is killed they must escape before Sultavi become a pawn. The ex-captain of the Guards Nohta takes them out through the secret tunnels and into hiding and it is soon realized that they must get Sultavi off the planet for her safety. Craxan Rok’Darian is given a message intended for his late benefactor Vanha Pasken requesting Vanha's help in return for some past aid he had received. Caxan decides to offer to replace Vanha and soon finds himself as bodyguard to Joanna and Sultavi as the leave the planet.

This story finds Joanna in a desperate situation. She’s hiding with the little girl she cares for and needs to get off planet. Joanna loves Sultavi and will do anything to protect her. Craxan is the gruff, somewhat reluctant hero. They’ve booked passage on a ship with questionable crew. You’ll love getting to know them, though. Craxan is stuck in tight quarters with Joanna and Tavi. Steamy times are on the horizon.
This story has a family theme and focuses on adoption/loving the child of your heart. There’s more than one exciting rescue in this book! We also get an additional love story with another character. Bonus! And I’m running away with Craxan and his tail. See ya! The Nanny and the Alien Warrior was a page-turner from the very beginning. It’s a little different than the other stories in this series which really makes it shine. You’ll love it as much as I did! 4.5 stars!
Joanna was hired to be a nanny to Satavi, and Craxan was hired to take them off world when their lives were destroyed by betrayal. The Cire are very protective of women and children, and Craxan is no exception…
A sweetly satisfying sci-fi romance, with a mature heroine and a protective alien male. Craxan is the typical protective Cire, accomplished but traumatized by the death of almost his entire race. Joanna is a former professor who was captured by alien slavers when she tried to help a student. Trying to protect an alien child brings them together, and emphasizes that some families are of the heart rather than genetic!
An enjoyable trip back into space, and into the Cire universe, with a cameo appearance by some old friends from former books.
There is definitely nothing like a magnificent collaboration and Ms. McLynn and Ms. Phillips have once again knocked it out of the park. Hands down the "Treasured by the Alien" series is one of the best out there in the sci-fi alien romance genre.
This tale paints a picture of life on the run for a heroine with her daughter. Loads of ups and downs, plot twists, a cranky chef, a hodegepodge crew, and steamy scenes featuring the tantalizing Cire anatomy will have you rooting for the best for this unexpected family.
Although each of these books is a standalone, I highly recommend you read each book in this series when you have the chance. Trust me, you will leave each book searching for your own Cire warrior.

Stolen from Earth and sold as a nurse maid for a lovely child,Joanna soon loved the child as if she were hers.
After a year had passed, the child's father was killed by his cousin in order to steal House leadership, and claim Sultavi as his ward, but Joanna had been warned and took Sultavi, and ran to a friend. They were hidden until a Cire warrior who owed a debt of honor to Sultavi's father arrived and found them a way off world. They had to dodge slavers, and attempted rape, and rescue another human female and her child from their abuser. But the warrior stood firm and the ex college professor fell in love with him, hard. Two mates found and claimed,, some old friends from other stories, new babies, and a few dead slavers keep the story very interesting, with lots of spicy hot romance thrown in.
I Absolutely Live all of these stories, and thus was no different !! I love the descriptions and the way the story flows and develops is different every time !! In this story, Joanne , A professor at a college, and has been kidnapped by aliens !! She ends up becoming a nanny for a wealthy House . Circumstances lead a Cire male to her and her charge, in order to help them off planet. And that infamous tail of Craxan's was very funny in its single minded determination :+))) Lots of laughter, and some scary parts mixed in with a Whole lot of Love is what makes this girl happy !!! Also get to meet some old friends , and what can be better then that ?? This was a terrific read , and I am looking forward to the next book in thus series !!
