I got curious about Magira and Carlos in Casino Lily when I was reading Haru wo Daiteita - Embracing Love Vol. 6. They both made a cameo when Iwaki and Katou of Haru Wo Daiteita was vacationing in LA.
In Casino Lily, Magira was gambling another suitor's money in Carlos' Las Vegas casino. Carlos was smitten by Magira's charm and his amazing wining streak at the bet table. He was also curious about this lovely Japanese man who was nicknamed Casino Lily.
Yuki Magira was actually trying his best to break a gambling curse whereby he could not win as long as he is gambling with his own money. But when it comes to gambling with other people's money, it was zero losses. He had made a promised with someone he loved back at Japan that he would give up on gambling if he is not able to break this curse of his.
Overall, the story was engaging but it wasn't on par with Nitta sensei's other work especially her groundbreaking work, Haru Wo Daiteita. I didn't feel as deeply connected with the characters in Casino Lily. I do like them though. They are lovely to look at and as usual, Nitta Sensei's sex scenes are always sensual and beautiful to
I did enjoyed Carlos' suaveness and his confidence air. He is such a lovely presence. Thing is, I didn't understand his attraction towards Magira. His fixation was unnatural for a man of his standing - he could have anything or anyone. Did he fall for Magira's willfulness? Magira wasn't exactly known to be faithful. In fact, he was promiscuous. Carlos certainly have odd taste.

3.5 stars. I’m a big fan of Nitta Youka’s works. The artwork is just lovely. Magira Yuri aka Casino Lily is a gambling gigolo. Sleeps with other men to gamble with their money, and he wins big. But if he gambles with his own he looses big time. He’s obsessed with breaking this jinx. But along the way he he meets casino owner Anthony Monte Carlo, who falls for Casino Lily. The big hang up is Magira thinks he’s in love with someone else back in Japan.

Hey there, it's time for some of that good old fashioned yaoi. We have here a single volume story penned by the famous Youka Nitta, known for her longer running series Embracing Love (which I'll review as soon as I get to that point on my manga shelf). As usual this is a world of fantasy gay characters who are more interested in being beautiful then realistic and honestly, sometimes, it's exactly what a reader wants...

Pues no digo que no me haya gustado volver a ver a Carlos y a Magira, pero creo que esta historia necesitaba más paginas, y que el dibujo no es de lo mejor de Nitta.

He is called Casino Lily and gamble trough the LA only to crush on the Mr. Big. He is troubled like proper heroine and went trough very explicit sex scenes, which are very hotly drawn, with various patrons to the right bed and realize the merits of monogamy or monoandry.It is porn, face it, now plot or rather little of it, but it is not distracting. The making out on the dollar bills was the best of the book. Characters from Casino Lily appeared also in Enberancing love manga.

No fue un manga que haya disfrutado demasiado realmente (más que las escenas hot haha). Me perdí un poco en la historia principal pero se salva un poco gracias a la mini historia extra que viene al final del libro, la que si me gustó porque es más sombría.
