From USA Today Bestselling Author Sylvia Frost - Moonbound:

From USA Today Bestselling Author Tasha Black - Bite This!:
Darcy Harkness has never relied on the kindness of strangers, and she certainly doesn’t want to get involved with a professional magician. Even if he’s tall, dark and handsome. Even if he seems to show up every time the you-know-what hits the fan. Even if he turns the bad-ass she-wolf into a trembling mess every time he touches her.

From Bestselling Author Val St. Crowe: A Symphony of Howls:
Camber lives in a world where werewolves are shot on sight, and she is feeling the call of the moon. If she hopes to survive, she must leave behind everything she's ever known, crossing the fences that keep werewolves out, venturing into the wild woods beyond.

From Bestselling Author Marina Finlayson - Moonborn:
Since childhood, Garth has lived on the edges of the pack, the human stepson of the pack leader and an eternal outsider. He always dreamed of becoming a werewolf—until one day he got his wish.

From Bestselling Author L. M. Hawke - Black Moon Sing:
A dark force is targeting a secret enclave of shapeshifters in the desert southwest, delivering them to grisly fates. Suspected of witchery and cast out of her human society, it's up to Ellery Chee, a lone coyote shifter, to stop this dangerous magician before her world disappears into thin air.

Aimee Easterling is a USA Today Bestselling author writing on the boundary between urban fantasy and paranormal romance. She specializes in spunky shifters and invites you to dive into her werewolf world in the Wolf Rampant trilogy, the spinoff Bloodling serial, and her new Alpha Underground series.

Studying biology and working as a naturalist have both informed Aimee's writing, but she's quite willing to let reality slide in favor of a good story. When not writing, she loves to read and always keeps books by Robin McKinley, Patricia Briggs, and Elizabeth Peters on her shelf. You can learn more at www.aimeeeasterling.com.

Mixed bag

Some of the ones in here are great and break some interesting new ground. Some are just teases, and they're OK, but not something I felt led to continue. Got a couple of good starts, though, so glad I picked it up.

Awesome collection of great stories and authors!

Shiftless by Aimee Easterling 5 stars: I loved Terra and Wolfie!
I really enjoyed this story about Terra, a lone wolf and Wolfie, the alpha of an outcast pack of wolves.

A great concept in having a lone female wolf that is strong and independent. Terra ran away from her pack at 17 and hasn’t looked back since. When her father does find her he issues her an ultimatum for returning to the pack. Terra has a chance encounter with Wolfie in a bookstore and again when she goes to meet the nephew she didn’t know about. Wolfie shows her that there is more than just bad alphas.

Terra learns more about her wolf, Wolfie and true pack life in a short time. It’s a sweet story, I loved Wolfie and his backwards nature as much as I loved how strong Terra was.

Curse of the Alpha ( 1 & 2) by Tasha Black: Team Erik!
Ainsley hasn’t been home since she left for college over 10 years ago. But she has a plan – get in, prep the house to sell and get back out to her life in New York. Only things aren’t going smoothly for her. Ainsley is drawing attention from the town and the people that want her to stay.

I was drawn into this story and wanted to know more about who Ainsley could trust and who she should be wary of. I am definitely rooting for team Erik. Erik was a childhood friend and now he just needs to man up and sit down and talk to her, not just do what is best. Then there’s Julian, the visiting professor that Ainsley is drawn towards. I just couldn’t see how Ainsley would be lured in by him, but she was.

This does end as a cliff hanger and you’ll want to immediately dive into the next book. So have it ready to go.

Book 1, by Aimee Easterling, no sex but very strong love interest. LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!! I've read all her stuff and she one of my favorites as she lets my own imagination fill in the sex blanks.
Book 2 by Sylvia Frost was was good story line, a bit of a writing error with a mixed up scene sequence, did not like the forced striping and on your knees in an alley with almost forced sex.
Book 3, L. M. Hawke - Black Moon Sing, was very good Really like story with coyote trader, no sex, good story.
Book 4, Tasha Black, Curse of the Alpha, had a good story line but way to much descriptive sex and the man was somewhat demeaning to her "good girl". This story is left with a giant cliff hanger and the book set was cheap so I bought it and kept reading (books 1-6). Still liked the story line but even more descriptive sex scenes. I don't believe I will be reading more of her stuff.
Book 5, Marina Finlayson - Moonborn story was pretty good, no sex I would read more of this author.
Book 6, Val St. Crowe: The Toil & Trouble Trilogy: Book 1, great story line, no sex but strong love interest. defiantly reading book 2!!

When I read 6 book set, I thought this was the entire series (as I'd hoped for) but actually, it's the first or first couple of book in several series. I read a few and they were alright and one that I actually thought was just ridiculous.
The story by Aimee Easterling was very good and a series I could really get into. I have the next few books on my wish list.

Great fantasy

This anthology had all great stories. I especially enjoyed Tasha Black’s Bite This. Darcy is a strong and caring character who will steal your heart. The other stories are just as good. A feast for the reader.

What a great way to find new books & authors! ... My first part of this bundle's review is for Tasha Black's "Curse of the Alpha" 1&2 :) This fantastic starter is from her first serial novel comprised of 6 episodes & it will whet your appetite for more! ... A unique storyline, great descriptions, and well defined characters will keep the reader engaged and turning pages! ... Add in some magic, a little action & suspense, surprises with plenty of twists & turns to some smoking hot romance, and you'll become addicted, too! Just make sure you have plenty of time to read, coz once you start, you will not want to stop! ... I can't wait to read the other awesome starter reads in this bundle and will update my review accordingly :) Omg! I don't have time now coz too many great ones so will be back to update :)

The stories were all an enjoyable free read. They caught my attention enough that at the end of each story I wanted the next book to find out what happened but not enough that I would buy one.
