This book was gifted to us from the Gesell family right after Annie Grace was born and we read it together over the last 6 months. Our routine looked a little something like this: Annie smiles and gets very still/curious , then reaches out for the little book, plays with the yellow ribbon bookmark, and would proceed to listen intently as I read a devo out loud to her. It created a slower pace to our morning routine together, reminded us of truth, and encouraged Garrett and I to faithfully pray over Annie and all our future children. We loved it!

This is a decent devotional for new parents with short daily devotions. It’s fine for a very brief read, but most are a single verse with some opinions and encouragement about parenting, not biblical advice.
