This is a gentle book about the people in a small family and their every day life. The book is in German, but the family and school situations will be familiar to most people where school is a regular thing. The art work isn't exceptional, but it is cute and fine. I would have loved to see a bit more differences between the two girls, who are evidently a bit older than the boy. Even the mother looks a lot like the girls.
