This is an indispensable tome for the Minnesotan/Midwestern plant geek, mushroom hunter, and forager. If you're interested in learning about edible plants, mushrooms, and insects find me on facebook at Ironwood Foraging Co. and on instagram @MNforager to book guided tours.

Wow! Beautifully detailed photos of bark, male/female flowers, leaves, and specimens. Each plant is accompanied by botanical, identification and natural history description which are very enjoyable to read. A wonderful browsing book as well as technical resource.
