Great ending
This was a very well written book for being short. We continue the journey of the 2 main characters through their lives to solve the problem of Kuda Vaira dying. Nov the human is literally the only one able to save the forest. I like how the opposing factors, sun elf and night elf, still dislike eachother by the end of the book even though they fought so hard together to stay alive. Now the mage, human, sun elf, and night elf get to walk away and even though it’s in hiding, get to create a new path for themselves. I know there’s a short story after this, I’m excited to see how they have come along.

I came across this trilogy by chance and I absolutely loved every second of every book! I finished all 3 books in almost 1 sitting. The main character is an amazing character and she’s so normal and real that it makes you like her even more and it makes her a more relatable character. She wasn’t the chosen one but she was there at the right time and place which made the plot even more intriguing. Aruna is an absolute sweetheart and they are so perfect together! It annoyed me how stubborn they were when they couldn’t accept the fact that they couldn’t live without each other belonged together! I’m so excited for the new series and hopefully we see more Neiryn and Kadaki I got so invested in the characters and world in such a short time and I could only wish the books were longer!
I found book 3 to be a bit less fast paced than the first 2 books but it was a satisfying finale and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for our favourite couple:)

This was such a thrilling and utterly fulfilling completion to the Night Elves of Ardani series. I got some major Moana vibes in this one and if you've watched that you'll know all about those spine tingling, awe inspiring and eye watering moments. That's what you should expect with Invocation. If you've read my reviews for the previous two books you'll know just how much I love Aruna and Novikke's heated chemistry. Their love is forbidden in a world where each species keep to their own, which created an enticing conflict. As I've said before, the world building is exotic and whimsical, a perfect land for new adult fantasy readers to explore.

An enjoying read
But I wish the author hadn’t made it 3 novellas. It all could have been combined into one book, really. It was like it was and the the author just cut it up literally between scenes/chapters for no real reason. They’re all on Kindle Unlimited.
I did enjoy the world building and the character building, along with relationship development. For a minute there I thought this was going to be a RH book, with the sun elf and night elf and her, but nope. Might have been an interesting dynamic, though. I’d read it! 😉
Overall, I would enjoy reading more about this world. It reminded me a bit of Avatar- but only as if the author watched it and was inspired by it to create this whole other world, not like she replicated it.

I have read the complete series in one book. , but it consists of 3 novelles so it could have been just one book as well. It reads like an adventure novel, a fairy tale and fantasy story with the occasional steamy scene. I thought it was a fun, exciting and entertaining story. At times it got a bit tedious, the push and pull between Novikke and Aruna was a bit tedious. The writing style was easy, smooth to read.There was some character development, characters getting to know each other and realizing that not everything it’s what they thought it was. There was some depth to the way war and nature are dealt with, but for the most part it remained a lighthearted and at times funny story.

Seconds after finishing book 2 I was on to book 3. I needed to know what happened after the confrontation. I got my answer quickly to my relief.
There are significant ramifications for the forest and all of Ardani. Their only chance requires ultimate trust of a former enemy.
I was engrossed in the story as they traveled into the heart of the night elf kingdom. I was horrified as the situation took a turn for the worse. I don't know if I would have had the bravery Novvaki showed.
The ending was perfect. I would love to return to this world again. So much left to explore.

The adventure continues in this third installment of the captivating Night Elves of Ardani, and it doesn’t disappoint! Aruna and Novikke grow closer; intrigue and suspense prevail with battles yet to be fought and Gods to be appeased. A fantastic narrative unfolds bringing this story to a thrilling grand finale for now?
This reader can only hope there are more tales to be told in this extraordinarily crafted world.

If I loved anything about this book more than the relationship evolving into what it is, it's the fact that it's not your average princess story. Neither Novikke nor Aruna are some random royalty with a glorified martyrdom as the promised future but two very average, low ranking people who still manage to be important and be the bridge between their two nations. I kept thinking how I really appreciate that Auran didn't turned out to be a secret Fae Prince. This story is full of ups and downs and push and pull, but in the end, it is worth every page.

I really enjoyed this novel in all of its three parts. The story is interesting and fast paced and the characters equally as frustrating as likeable. More than that, it was nice to see a character struggling with inner issues and over coming them organically in a way that felt very natural given the situations she was thrust in. I also very much enjoyed the descriptions in the book, particularly of the towns and cities, the people, the forest. The forest in particular sounds, to me, like a a very beautiful place to live- or at least visit.

A kind of fantasy version of an "captured by Idian braves" story, It is well written and good in worldbuilding. In a world were humans and sunelves are at war the nightelves are feared and hated dangerous creatures living in a magical forest. Novikke a female courier is captured by them and taken into their woods.
This is the last part of the story and a bit shallow.
I deduct one star for cutting one story in 3 separate novels.

Painful to read
The main character is difficult to like. There isn't much to like about her. She's indecisive and cares about people who would kill her and isn't much help to the people who do like her. She's as insufferable as Bella Swan, and that's saying something. story drags in places that I end up skipping ahead. Didn't bother finishing to read this. Everyone, but the main character, is interesting and likeable.

The third book Invocation brings the continuing adventure for both Novikke and Aruna. As the two grow closer and work together to stop the deadly magic, can they truly work together to succeed. You'll have to read and see how it ends.

Ardani
I thoroughly enjoyed the series. It could have been one big book but because it was three small ones they were short reads. Aruna and Novikke were intriguing characters. They were able to push aside differences and fell in love. They fought for each other and saved the world.

A different take on romance and magic
I couldn’t put down these books until I reached the end. It was a refreshingly different storyline in the world of magic, elves and love. I highly recommend this series and I’m looking forward to reading more from this author

An easy, enjoyable read. For me, the first book was a little slow; however, the second n third books moved right along. I 'm sure I will read N.K.Westra again.

Okay! I really liked the story! The actions, the world building experience as well as the romance and how the two characters gets from attraction to where they end up. Great book! Ill seek other from this author.

Adored this whole series! Loved the characters, the worldbuilding, the romance ... all of it! Only thing really wrong with it is that it's far too short! I want to see more of these characters (especially Neiryn) and this world.

3.5 stars because these 3 books should have been one. This story was very creative but lacked depth. I enjoyed it enough to read all three, but it left me wanting.

Eh... Not bad?
I wouldn't recommend these books but they were a quick, mildly entertaining read. Not brilliantly told but definitely demonstrating depth.

The romance felt a lot better in this book! Such a good little fantasy palette cleanser - still unsure as to whether I’ll read the rest of the series yet. Only time will tell.

Just like the first two books, I also really enjoyed this one. What I stated in my previous reviews still holds true, the writing is simple and charming, the plot moves along quickly and the blooming romance between the two leads is incredibly sweet - and it goes through some angst in this one, as well, which... we can never get enough of, now, can we? ;)
Additionally, the whole trilogy can be summarized as being a single book split into three, which actually made my reading experience much more comfortable than usual due to the shorter length. I strongly recommend it to whoever's looking for a fantasy romance not as dark as many others, featuring elves and HEA. Fingers crossed for more novels set in this world!
