Read during biochemistry exams, I would describe it as very helpful but not helpful enough in accordance with our lessons. We were recommended this book and, I know I'm talking about a 700-page book, but at some specific points, more information were needed.

Didn't read this straight through, but it is a decent supplement to lectures. I didn't tend to gravitate towards this text though.
