I won't go into an extensive discussion of the I Ching. If you use it, you need no introduction. If you don't know anything about it, I wouldn't know where to begin. I just want to say if you use the classic Wilhelm translation, you might want to get a copy of Karcher's version as a companion piece. His explanations really are Plain and Simple and for the most part accurate. When I consult the oracle I use both versions for a more comprehension understanding. Also Karcher provides a colored bead alternate to throwing coins, which he says is more statistically random, hence more open to the energy of synchronicity.
