This brief version of Berresford' s applied calculus text consists of Chapters 1-7 of his "Applied Calculus, 2/e, with two additional sections on differential equations appearing in Chapter 6. For a full description, see catalog entry for Berresford/Rockett, "Applied Calculus, 2/e.
It's not a replacement for a real calculus textbook, but it is very good when you just want to get to the point of a topic. The problems are completely devoid of trigonometric functions, which is nice for easier practice. All in all it's well written and is perfect if you need supplemental material for the first two levels of calculus. It lacks a good bit of calculus 3 material, but what it does cover it does well!
