Death by Association

DEATH BY ASSOCIATION On the east side of Allentown, Pennsylvania, sits the most drug-infested projects. Outsiders consider them a death trap because there is only one way in and one way out. It has birthed hundreds of hustlers, but none compared to these two. After accomplishing his first lick, Mack sets his eyes on the Gardens on the south side to be his new stomping grounds. With the help of his family, he floods the city with large amounts of cocaine. Everything is good until his brother Husky steps foot on the wrong turf, which turns the city into a war zone. At the age of thirteen, son and brother of past and present hustlers, Lo becomes a young boss and sets his eyes on the whole hood. Everything seems to be falling in place, until the death of a loved one shocks the family. From the money, guns, drugs, and sex, these brothers, cut from the same cloth, take Allentown's drug game to a whole other level. How will they cope with so many people gunning for them?

Ok, I think I'm gonna like this one

This is a true coming of age in the drug game story, I like how we get a look into the relationship of Mack & Lo as brothers. The friendship of Mack & Ricky. Mack had his street game together and too bad his best friend is going to be his undoing. Lo is just like his brother Mack as hard as Mack tried to keep him out the game. It did not work...now with Mack getting gunned down what will Lo do and will Ricky get his self together? I'll find out in part 2

Not listening to Mack has Ricky in a world of trouble. He’s so far gone it’s not funny. Mack tried to look out for him knowing his situation, but he needs to let him go. Zeus is partly to blame but he’s nowhere to be found.
Mack wants what’s best for his little brother Lo, but Lo has other plans. Will Mack find out? What’s going to happen if he does? I hope these questions are answered in part 2.
Lo was jammed up at the beginning of the story. I wonder why?

Hot!!!

Lo and AR better sit there little behinds down. Mack gone catch wind of that mess Lo doing and break his neck. I cannot believe the ending. I know he is not going out like that. It better not be because of Ricky and his mess. Whew! Let me get on to part 2.

This is my first time reading this author. It seems like he is the King of Cliffhangers. I hope Mack pulls through. Lo cannot handle the good life without some guidance. His lil young butt should not be involved anyway. Rickey is going to be trouble. I feel it.

About to Read Part 2

I really enjoyed this book. A little bit inconsistent, just a little, and sometimes it was a bit confusing because of a lack of transitions, but overall it was a pretty good read.

I have to agree with Juice, Ricky is definitely a liability but Mack can't see that...I need for Lo to walk away from the game because he's too young
