Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.
Post battle blues. All of them trying to find a new balance as tragedy looms ever closer. I like some of the new ideas popping up, especially in context to Boruto’s karma.
The baddies at this point seem… i don’t know… slightly overpowered for the context and on a total cheat-code mindset. :)
This volume was so cool, I loved how it progressed the story. Eida and Daemon are really cool, and I like how Code has a crush on her lol. Interested to see how Kawaki interacts with the new team 7 more going forward, I definitely think he’s a cool character. Really, I enjoy the Boruto series, I don’t understand why so many people are against it.
Overall, it was a good chapter. However, compared to the previous volumes (which were full of action), this one felt a bit slow and boring at times. This volume is about Post-Kawaki Arc meaning the aftermath of the big battle against Isshiki. Only Code remains from Kara and our heroes try to get stronger while Code plans his revenge. I don't like Code and his character is not really interesting. However, Kawaki is super interesting to me. I love his character development and his interaction with Boruto and Naruto. This volume feels a bit like a filler but the next one will probably be better.
- Amado repairs Kawaki's hand. Amado tells Naruto and Shikamaru about Code who will be a new threat. Kawaki and Boruto discussing to find a vessel for Boruto and their target is Code. Amado gives meds to Naruto that can suppressed the Ohtsutsukification.
- Naruto having a Five Kage Summit. They discussing about aftermath of Isshiki's battle, Boruto's Karma and Code's threat as a Kara's holdout.
- Code comes to Boro's cult facility. He wants Eida, a cyborg made by Amado who knows everything in the world. Eida's abilities are clairvoyance; she can see and hear everything in present time and past time until after she was born. She also can steal someone's heart. Everyone who see her will fall in love with her except blood relatives and Ohtsutsuki.
- Code and Eida made an alliance to remove his limiter. It's needs Amado's facial and voice command.
- Eida introduced his little brother, Daemon who can reflect any attacks. The stronger the intent to kill, the stronger the effect will be reflected to the attackers.
- Team 7 have a training. Sarada and Kawaki having an arguement whether to do a basic ninja trainig or do an actual combat drill. Boruto and Kawaki made a bet and they will follow winner's way. Boruto win the fight.
- Kawaki felt hopeless and powerless with no Karma. Amado offers to reconstruct the Karma and will act as a powerful weapon same like Code.
This was such a cool volume again as we move to the next phase beyond Isshiki and I love how the team is bonding with Kawaki and the training montages are always fun, meanwhile a Gokage smumit happens and they have already established the big threat of CODE, so as a reader you're more intrigued with this big new villain in the series and it works so well in that regards! The threat keeps amping up and feels natural to the larger story being told.
Meanwhile we also have these two new cyborg villains in EIDA and her brother Daemon, and its so fun especially with seeing Eida interact with Code and the weird bond between them or is it just her powers which are quite unique and sort of gives her the edge vs her nemesis and we are getting into different powersets vs ninja ones and it could be a turn off for some but if you think about it, it makes sense keeping up with the series and just ramping up the threats.
Its one of those moments where the manga series gets better now, you have so many stories set up, a resolution to a long running plot, beginning of something new and exciting and so like I keep saying.. just perfect!
This volume served as a volume that bridges us across the gap from one turning point to the next. Amado is now a resident of the hidden leaf village and both treats Kawaki and motivates him. Boruto is presented with a medicine to keep his Ohtsutsukification in check. Kawaki and Boruto continued their brotherly relationship with both brainstorming ways to deal with Karma and a looming threat from Code. And lastly, Code makes an appearance and brings back Eida and Daemon from suspended animation.
Overall I liked how this volume felt both for getting Kawaki some interaction with his foster family, and additionally time with Boruto's team, and I liked having him and Boruto connect with their shared experience as karma holders and vessels. Lastly, I liked the comedy with Naruto and Boruto as they talked about the medicine. Great volume.
I like the story so far! I've zoomed through 15 volumes in like a week and a half! But, man, I'm not too fond of Eida. Eida feels out of place, way too OP (even her brother feels that way), and how she reacts in this volume and volume 16. Not a fan
I hope the more I read, I'll end up liking her, but right now, she's gives me the ick.
What an amazing opening volume for the Code Arc! All these new characters will put the stakes higher than ever, I’m sure of that! Also, I wished I had Eida’a capabilities. Huhuhu
Bit of a transitory collection of chapters as some new villains show up and Kawaki and Boruto decide to beat each other up for a bit. It doesn't so much as end as it does cut off mid-scene. Four chapters at a time every like six months or something is a very slow way to tell a story.

3/5 these volumes happen after major fights. Resetting the expectations that code is the main priority in order to be able to deal with the 10 tail. RIP to Naruto’s powers I guess? We don’t know how much he’s lost but he’s no longer the same. Very tragic. Excited to see what action comes next

This series has been quite good right from the start. I am liking the new generation of characters, the older characters, the new baddies, the back-and-forth as some characters' motivations remain questionable... but also and especially Naruto forever being Naruto.
Fa davvero strano.
