In Volume One you get the first three books in the Goddess Isles series, the exotic and enthralling story of a fantasy peddler and his latest prize. And, this is Pepper at her best- sensual, devastating, entrancing, and unforgettable!

Like so many Pepper stories, the journey begins with a kidnapping. But, this is world unlike any we’ve ever seen- exotic, erotic, imaginative, and sensual. Our heroine Eleanor is abducted and sold to our anti-hero Sully by traffickers- transported away to his private island of sin (and cute animals) where she’s forced into an owned woman contract of prostitution, taking an elixir that consumes her mind and body. Despite being entirely powerless and at the mercy of a corrupt and depraved man, she’s no weakling- she’s got fire and strength in spades, and finds her power in subtle ways. And soon she starts to find some power in her dynamic with Sully- the mans he should abhor but who somehow has become the man she burns for.

The setting is unlike any other we’ve seen- Goddess Isles is a tropical haven for rich and depraved men, a place where they can fulfill their darkest fantasies with owned goddesses- women high on the mysterious elixir that makes them burn for their tormentors. And Sully is the lord of the island, the purveyor of paradise. And Eleanor was supposed to be just another acquisition- another goddess to add to his menagerie. As this series unfolds, though, we see that Eleanor can never just be his possession- she challenges everything that he thinks he knows, that he has made. With each book, we get deeper into the man that is Sully Sinclair- what has led to this hard, ruthless, arrogant, and possessive man. And that is the magic of Pepper Winters- a man who for all intents purposes is a monster, we find ourselves drawn to him- just as Eleanor is- against all reason. And by book 3, we start to see the vulnerable and lonely man beneath the bravado. The man Eleanor begins to expose, the man that she can perhaps heal if he’ll just let her.

This most certainly is not a series for the faint of heart- the premise of the series itself should tell you there are dark and triggering elements. Sully feels challenged by Eleanor, and he tries to break her. Even though she doesn’t fully break down, Sully doesn’t make it easy- for her, or for us to love him. But their chemistry is straight FIRE- intense, erotic. Peppers write erotic and sensual dark romance like no other - you know you are going to get some HOT steamy times, passionate couplings full of unbridled passion and conflicted emotions. Raw lust, explosive intensity, and so many heart wrenching emotions combined.

By the end of the first boxed set, you'll be desperate, frustrated, enamored, and heartbroken- Sully and Eleanor have a long road ahead, and you know that it will not be easy. There love is a veritable hurricane, and the storm is still raging. But it is a story that is enthralling to the very last, an epic love story full of passion, pain, heartbreak, and redemption. My favorite work from Pepper to date!

This wasn't a good experience for me

1) I don't like Stockholm trope

2) For the life of me, I couldn't understand Sully's logic about many things. He was such a hypocrite. It made me irritated.
Eleanor, on the other hand, was quite enchanting at the start but I was supremely confused when she started having feelings for Sully because .....how? when? Why?

There was no good scenes to precede those rush of loving feelings in Eleanor. 🤷

3) I couldn't feel the chemistry that the readers were told about so much through inner monologues and dialogues throughout the entire book.

4) Is it just me or does "Stockholm plus fated lovers" tropes really seem like a bad idea?

5) It was way too long and way too boring.

Volume 1 is spectacular!
Once a Myth
Once again, Pepper Winters, has written a deeply woven story with intricate and complicated characters. This book delves into the dirty business of trafficking, not glorifying it by any means, just talking about a subject that most shy away from. And she does it delicately and with tact.
The thought and premise of the chemicals created and used in this book are frightening but at the time intriguing.
This first book was well written and truly worth the wait. I looked forward to reading Twice a Wish!
6 beautiful heartfelt stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Twice a Wish
This series is so highly anticipated by myself and many others, and Pepper Winters does not disappoint. Twice a Wish draws the reader into a world that we could only imagine, and Pepper's words make it come to life for us.
Eleanor is challenging and fighting everything this island offers. This is Utopia, an exquisite place for the goddesses to live out their 4 year term, they want for nothing, and life on the island is glamorous and coveted.
Sully is also fighting on his island but for very different reasons. Eleanor offers him something that most men would love to grab and possess, but Sully, he is fighting it for reasons he believes are just and true.
This duo find themselves battling and struggling in Twice a Wish. The are denying their attraction, lust and desire for one another. But will either one survive this internal war?
Pepper, this series is exceptional and makes me want to read the story as fast as I can, while not wanting it to end at the same time. Those are my own struggles reading this series.
Third a Kiss
This series is absolutely phenomenal!
Third a Kiss takes the reader further into the chaotic life of Sully and Eleanor. The tango of these characters as they dance around each other, neither committing or admitting what they think or how they feel. Denying feelings does not make them any less real, it only makes them more painful.
Pepper Winters takes Sully and Eleanor through such agonizing trials but she also balances them with such heartfelt and hot scenes that the reader can take a breath for a few short minutes and sigh with relief, hoping they found their calm and peace.
I think I love Pika and Skittles as much as I love the main characters.
But that ending....I can't wait for Fourth a Lie ❤❤❤

I’ve never read a trilogy that couldn’t have been written better as a duet. How do you think I feel about 5 part series? Lol Short answer: frustrated, excited but annoyed and about to rip my hair out.

The story itself is amazing. We have a scientist billionaire who has 44 private islands somewhere near Indonesia where he performs experiments on women essentially ruining their bodies, minds and lives while fulfilling the sexual fantasies of wealthy men. Great lol

As far as the writing does there were lots of eye rolling as to whyyyy the book has to be so damn wordy!!! Every sentence is dragged out to no end. That’s pretty much how to describe this book. A cool story that would have been amazing but Pepper Winters wrote it therefore it means it has to be 5 books and extremely dragged out.

I read Indebted so I’m assuming this is her thing? Ughh

I literally read this by mistake but it’s such a good story (I guess) I can’t put it down.

I’ve been frustrated the entire time though so would I recommend this? No not at all. Would I have gone back and never have read it? Absolutely.

Read at your own risk. Just know that this could have been 2 books but was dragged out to 5, not sure why the author always does this. It’s certainly not the artistic integrity though I’ll tell you that for sure.

Seriously though, this is overkill.

I own and read these books separately. This is one of my favorite series to date from this author. They kept me on the edge of my seat from page one to the very end. The wait between books (which wasn't long considering) almost broke me. I am excited for new people to discover this series and these amazing characters.

Once a Myth
And she is back...

When I first got back into reading for pleasure and not just as a requirement for my degree, this was one of the first authors I discovered. I read each book of the Indebted series as it came out. I would find myself dreaming about them and feeling like I was going through withdrawals as if her words were the most powerful drug, and they were. Even years later, no other book has impacted me the way that Jethro And Nila did... Until this book. This book is truly sublime. I should have been prepared but I wasn't.

The characters, the world-building, and the storyline took this to a level I can hardly even put words to on how magnificent it is. It is not an easy subject matter, and yet, I devoured it because of how well the author wrote it making the depravity of the circumstance enticing. There is nothing romantic about Human trafficking. However, it was written in such a way that I found myself compelled to try and understand the how's and why's someone would do this, how they rationalize it, and or find empathy and understand watching someone come to terms with the why's and how's of why they were taken and how to not break in this situation.

I admired Elanor. Sweet Lord, did I ever. I liked seeing a small glimpse of her in the beginning with another favorite from a different series and seeing how they differed. Her resilience and fire were remarkable. This isn't like most human trafficking horrors that one would think of. This was technically paradise but only if paradise came with the price of losing one's soul. Sully. Sweet Lord. I am not sure how this author can make someone who is has created this "paradise" be so reprehensible and so enticing at the same time. There is a lot to this character and I cannot wait to see where this will go in the future books. I fully immersed myself in both of these characters' heads and tried to see what and how they tick and adapt. There is so much chemistry here as well as animosity showing that there is indeed a fine line between love and hate.

I won't get into any spoilers of the story but will say that this subject matter alone is a trigger. However, there is not the usual way or circumstance that one expects to see in this type of subject. There is "free will" so to speak if that makes sense. It ends on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I generally stay away from serial cliffhanger books because this author almost broke me when I first discovered her. However, this was too good to pass up. Luckily, each book of this 5 book series comes out once a month after this release. I recommend this book and series to anyone that likes Dark 1000%

If I could give this book/series more than 5 stars I would and it is only the second book.

One of the things that I love about books is their ability to transpose me to a different time and place and their ability to make me feel a maelstrom of emotions. Sometimes they make me cry, sometimes they offer me hope, and sometimes they show me that not everything is black and white. In the case of this book (and the first), they show all of the above and then some.

This author takes all of that and more and transcends time and place. Her characters are visceral. They are dynamic. They are something ugly juxtaposed with beautiful, light versus dark, and complex versus simple. In a nutshell, they are otherworldly. She creates worlds that even amidst the darkness and sensitive subject matter that is the foundation for her stories it leaves me both uncomfortable and entranced.

In this book, it is all that and more. This book picked up right where the other left off, which was a WHOPPER of a cliffhanger. Knowing this was a book being released every month, I dived in knowing that this would sting when she would leave me hanging. It did and more. I thought my guess had been correct in what I thought had happened. However, I am not sure anymore. There are things that make it seem one way and then there are others that lead me to believe another thing. What sorcery is this that the author can do this? Whatever it is I am a willing participant because even though not having the answers that I want I will still subject myself to the pain because it is worth it to be enmeshed in this author's words, characters, and worlds.

The push and pull in these characters is like nothing I have ever read before. In this book, I had a better understanding of Sully. I still think his career choice and who is is and how he came to know Elanor is repugnant but in this book getting to see why he is the way he is and why he holds so little regard to humans was an integral piece of the puzzle. I look forward to seeing more layers of the story unfolding to see how this man balances the dichotomy of a savior and a captor. I knew in the first book that Elanor was a force to be reckoned with but, sweet holy titfire, she blew me away with this one. There was one particular scene where she spoke about something which had previously been unable to have a voice for decades, towards the end of the book, that completely unraveled me. Her compassion that she understood that and felt empathy. GAME CHANGER.

These characters both offer something to each other and to me the reader. They show that there is beauty in pain and that not everything is what appears on the outside. This is not a Stockholm syndrome type of connection. This is a connection of souls coming together as if they were predestined. It is kismet and gives me reasons to keep searching for the mellifluous sublime. No one can do what this author does and is often the reason that she is the first person mentioned when someone is looking for a dark romance book.

I did have a few concerns over the end because the timeline of certain contracts wouldn't be the same. That isn't giving a spoiler just something that I stood out to me in regards to the math of this entire scenario. That being said, This book ends on another WHOPPER of a cliffhanger. I cannot wait to see what is going to happen because holy jumping Hannah... April 24th seems so far away. I cannot recommend this series or author enough.

Third a Kiss
Just take my money. All. OF. IT.

Sweet Holy Titfire.

Gobsmacked. Dumbstruck. Astonished. Amazed. Flabbergasted. Aroused. I am not sure how many other ways or words I can say that describe how I felt after finishing this book. I don't know how she does it but every time, she expands on her world-building and takes it a step higher. EVERY. TIME. I knew this book that it would be good, after all, she wrote it, but I had no idea that it would be this good. Truly sublime.

Thie book picks up where the previous one left off, and if you haven't read it, then know it left me on bated breath because where it ended was on a whopper of a cliffhanger. I was not prepared for what was going to happen when Sully got a taste of his own medicine, literally in this case. It was brutal and animalistic and it was PERFECT. I loved gaining more insight into Sully and what makes him tick. There were a few huge surprises there. However, the biggest surprise came from Elanor once again. I am amazed at how logical she is, even in times that she should be angry and or running for her life. Her empathetic nature is beautiful to see and is often one that is rarely seen in the real world let alone in fiction. There is a certain mystique and magnetism that draws me to her, almost as if she truly is a Goddess rather than a mere mortal. Sully never stood a chance against her.

Both of these characters seem to balance something in each other, almost as if the universe and fates had created them for each other. There is a part of me that felt like regardless of the circumstance and the how or why Jinx came to be part of Sully's world, that they would have met eventually because their pull was that magnetic. I take comfort in that because I cannot see this as only someone falling in love with their "captor" but rather, It was a love predestined in the stars.

After finishing this book, I again was left with a whopping book hangover and wanting to both simultaneously scream that May now seems like forever away and cry that this part of the story was over. It was beautiful, poignant, heartbreaking, raw, intense, and stunningly perfect. This cliffy stung a little (as per usual) because I know it is going to really hurt after what this book offered and that it probably won't feel better until book five because book four will be the destruction before the aftermath. That really stings because I am not sure that my heart can hurt like that for two months. I rarely can handle cliffhanger books because the wait not only kills me but because I am worried that I will forget a pivotal detail. However, with this author's series of books, I never forget which makes this anguish of ending on a cliffhanger worth it as well as makes it more than a tad bittersweet. Kudos, to this author for knocking my socks off.

This Series! WOW! This volume contains the first three books in the Goddess Isles Series!

Once A Myth (1) - I’m in a state of breathless euphoria with this book! As one of my very favorite authors Pepper Winters never fails to disappoint me. She’s done it once again, drew me in from the get go with this alluringly powerful, gritty and dark, heart grabbing and mythical read!

There’s a mystical tropical setting, an enigmatic mysterious fantasy master, a strong and feisty goddess of a heroine, fiery interactions, unexpected emotions and an ending that left me gasping for what’s to come! I can’t wait for Twice a Wish, book two in this five part series, to see what happens next!

Twice A Wish (2) - The images Pepper Winters portrays are palpable and gripping,
creating A Virtually Real world! A tropical dreamland in all it’s dynamic vividness.

I not only felt my heartbeats but could literally hear the palpitations within me as I ravenously devoured this enthralling read! I was sucked in completely entranced while clenching my palms among other things.

The intensity of that ending left me audibly gasping! I cannot wait for what’s to come in book three!

Third A Kiss (3) - If I thought I was consumed with Once A Myth and Twice A Wish...Third A Kiss has me completely and utterly gobsmacked!!

Pepper Winters, you have captured my heart and soul with your phenomenally spellbinding tale of intrigue and captivating characters! I am obsessed with your vividly phenomenal storytelling and ability to totally and willingly take me captive with your addictively mesmerizing wordsmithery!

I find myself with a lack of words to express how I feel. Not because of lack of understanding or appreciating what I just read but because of feeling awestruck and anxious to know what happens next!

This set is the first half of Goddess Isles, and is well worth a read. Book one is where it all begins, with a kidnapped, fierce and defiant girl, and her captor. Sullivan, creator of fantasies, ruler of the island.
Book two reveals moments from Sully's past, and my heart breaks for him. The passion between him and Eleanor is growing, but so are other feelings.
And then there's book three. Feelings are revealed, jealousy is exposed, there's suspense and action, of course beautifully described views, delicious foods, precious animals. If it weren't for a few things, this would truly be paradise. And the words Sully and Eleanor use to express themselves when the walls come down, totally swoony but deep and held strength in the emotions. Of course there's an awful freaking twist. That's why of course you have to read Volume two!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 addicting dark dirty stars! Pepper is back at it again.

This is volume 1 - the first three books in the series.

Honestly, when this series first came out, I didn’t think I’d like it. I’ve only read the first 10 chapters and didn’t really like it because it wasn’t that dark for me. I thought this was gonna be a fragile heroine, a damsel in distress and I wanted some badass spirited heroine. I loved Monsters in the dark and the indebted series but this didn’t really do anything to me. So I left it in my TBR list.

And when I received the full series in my email for an honest review, I decided to give it another shot, which I’m glad I did.

I’ve never really written a review before on anything, so bear with me. I’m trying. Here we go.

**SPOILERS AHEAD**

This story starts with kidnapping.

Eleanor Grace: A fierce woman abducted right under her boyfriend’s nose by slave traffickers and sold to Sully. Aka Sullivan Sinclair. Our Anti-Hero. She was then taken this private island owned by him, where then she has to sign a contract to sleep and please men for 4 years and taking the elixir that would take over her mind and offer her body. But she’s no weak damsel in distress. She’s supposed to hate him, but she can’t deny the chemistry swirling between them. She can’t deny the burning in her body when he touches her. And she definitely can’t deny that Pika the Parrot is cute.

Sullivan “Sully” Sinclair: He’s a mysterious, powerful, dominant, rich, hot...anything you would want in a man. But this is no ordinary man. No no. He’s the creator of the Goddess Isles, a gateway heaven for the rich powerful men to indulge in their filth dark desires with the goddesses, the women he bought. All they have to do, is a sign a contract of four years and he’ll set them free when the contract is due. One rule, they have to take an elixir that he and his team invented that takes over the mind and makes the body of the consumer burning with desire and lust. He doesn’t mix pleasure with business but everything changed when this new goddess stepped a foot inside the island.

The chemistry between those two is BURNING HOT.

“My name is Sully Sinclair. I don’t care what you call me inside that overzealous mind of yours, but while you serve on my island, you will address me with respect.”

“While I serve you?” My lips pulled back in a snarl. “And what does that job entail exactly?”

His lips spread into a sinister smile. “Fucking, of course. Lots and lots of fucking.”

Eleanor’s hate game is strong but we all know, it won’t last long. Sully is just too much for a girl like her to resist.

“A vial with a silver cap and a tiny sticker with a purple orchid on the front. “Your first requirement as an owned woman.” Taking my hand, he planted it firmly into my grip. “Drink it.”

My eyebrows flew up as I opened my fingers and gawked at the tiny bottle. “I won’t drink anything if I don’t know the contents.”

He ran a hand over his mouth, letting it fall away as he struggled to stay normal. “Let’s just say...it’s plant-based and good for you. It won’t hurt you; you have my word.” His eyes gleamed, hinting it might not hurt me, but it would do something.

I went to tip if from my palm, but he murmured, “If you damage, destroy, or do anything to that elixir, you will severely regret it.”

I paused. “Elixir?”

He nodded, holding me prisoner with his stare, just daring me to ruin whatever he’d given me. “An elixir guaranteed to make your life here far more bearable.”

“What does it do?”

He chuckled, far more in control of himself than before. “Take it and find out.”

“Elixir means a magical or medical potion. I don’t take drugs, and this isn’t a storybook. So, I politely decline.”

His chuckle tapered off into a scowl. “You’re forgetting that you no longer have free will.” Pushing off from the desk, he ripped his hands from his pockets, snatched the bottle, twisted off the lid, and grabbed my chin. “The first thing you should know about me is...I’m not a patient man. When I tell you to do something, you do it. Immediately.”

MY LORD...this is addicting. I honestly couldn’t put it down. It was so good. And Pepper just had a unique style of writing that draws you in and I realized that when I started reading her books.

This book was crazy but nonetheless addicting and I can’t say that enough.

•• this is not for the faint of hearts and has some topic that would trigger some people. It’s a twisted, complicated story that won’t let you put it down.

-Once a Myth (5 Stars)
Absolutely Brilliant! I need a moment to bask in this masterpiece I just read. A brilliantly dark, depraved and sensual romance that will have you begging for book two!! Lovers of The Monsters in The Dark Series Get Ready!!! You are in for a treat! If you haven’t read that story, well what are you waiting for? Eleanor Grace is taken captive at 21 yrs old and sent against her will to where fantasies come true...for the right price. Sullivan Sinclair is her new owner. A ruthless, hardened, mystery of an alpha antihero. He sells the fantasy at Goddess Isles, his private island, but at what cost? Are you ready for this dark and dangerous pièce de résistance? If you love your dark romances the darker the better, then you will LOVE this one! I also loved how there is a cameo from a certain someone. The writing as always is superb and the characters are rich in depth. This ends on a major cliffhanger so be prepared! FYI: this book is not for the faint of heart as it has some intense scenes. Told in dual POV

-Twice A Wish (5 Stars)
Another Masterpiece in this Epic Series! Eleanor “Jinx” Grace and Sully Sinclair’s tumultuous “relationship” if you can call it that, is back in book two of the goddess isles series and they’re back with a BANG!! We begin where Once a Myth left off and you are in for another wild rollercoaster of emotions in this book. What awaits Jinx now that she has four more years in the hands of Sinclair? Will his wall he built around himself finally start to crumble? Will this one Goddess turn Sinclair’s well plotted paradise into his own prison? New players enter the picture and create chaos for our god. Get Ready For A Magical Trip to “Paradise.” Oh Sully! You’re making a way to my heart that I only thought Q possessed! A cinematic, visual journey is created within these pages. Told in dual POV and ends in another major cliffhanger.

-Third A Kiss (5 Stars)
We’re back in Paradise with Jinx and Sully and just wait until you read this one! This begins where the jaw dropping cliffhanger left us and be prepared for an EYE OPENING start!! I don’t know how Pepper tops herself but with each book I’m transported into this world she created! New revelations are revealed, New enemies unleashed and New feelings will all be introduced. Their connection flies right off the pages it’s so intense. Passion...Mystery...Action...this has it ALL!! Eleanor Grace and Sullivan Sinclair are what Dreams are made of! I’m so glad to see my predictions from the other books came true! Are you ready for another rollercoaster of emotions in the Goddess Isles? I don’t know if you are. Told in dual POV and as always yet another climatic cliffhanger and prepare for what awaits you in Fourth a Lie coming next.

Once a Myth
I don't know why I waited so long to read this series! I've read several (most) of the author's other works so it was great to pick up references to other series for a bit of nostalgia.

Ok, so I have had this fantasy since before I really knew what some of this stuff was (someone should have been monitoring the reading choices of middle school me better) and most of it was actually summed up in this book which felt so surreal. I love Eleanor's fiery personality and the way she's dealing with adversity. Sully is our overdramatic diva who can't give in to his dirty desires so he pouts and fights his feelings and causes most of the drama.

Twice A Lie
I'm in love. I love Eleanor's spirit and smarts. I love Sully and my heart breaks for his past but I love the strong savior he's become. I know what the book tells us, but I think there's something that Sully isn't telling Eleanor about her time in Euphoria. I want to know more about Jealousy and Calvin and I love love love Pika and Skittles. Can't wait for answers and to see what happens after that very interesting ending!!

Third A Kiss
I feel like Sully is a complete drama queen with all of his angst and back and forth. Don't get me wrong, I still liked the book. Eleanor was pretty steadfast and unwavering, even when she had doubts. With the ending of this book, I feel like Sully is back to sacrificing his happiness and choosing a path without including Eleanor, which is super frustrating. I'm hoping he gets his stuff together in the next book.

Goddess Isles was the first series I ever read from Pepper Winters. I was intrigued by the title of the first book (Once a Myth) and decided to give it a go. Nothing could have prepared me for the storm of emotions this author is able to induce. By far one of the top discoveries of my 2020.

This is the story of Eleanor Grace, a 22-year old psychology student on a trip to see the world and figure out who she is and what she wants in life. She is young but mature and strong-willed. Her journey takes a turn for the worst when she is kidnapped by human traffickers. Pepper’s writing style is incredibly immersive, so I struggled not to DNF this book when I read this part of the story. I am glad I did not because throughout the books Eleanor is a beacon of female strength. She never breaks, and I admire and respect her for it. She is then bought by 32-year old Sullivan Sinclair, the mysterious owner of Goddess Isles. I was instantly mesmerised by the author ability to create such a dark and magical world.

I really do not want to make any spoilers but...WOW, WOW, WOW.

Euphoria...Elixir...Sully... (I am trembling and gasping just thinking about it)

This book has by far the best sex scenes I HAVE EVER READ!

I began to read Goddess Isles when the first three books were already available and I thank the universe for that. Not to sound dramatic, but I would have died of impatience.

Fantasy, romance and drama, this book is EVERYTHING that and more.

P.S. Pepper if you read this, please consider writing something about Jealousy’s love life (you know what I mean...😏).

Once A Myth

This story is unique, steamy and so addictive. This book had me glued to the pages unable to do anything but read. Sully is so dark but alluring. There is so much more to him underneath the surface. Eleanor (Jinx) is so strong and determined to control her fate. That cliffhanger was a shocker that leaves you gasping for air and the next book. This is a fantastic start to this series

Twice A Wish

This story just keeps surprising me. There is so much more to Sully than I realized, he is just so mesmerizing and beautiful. I really love Eleanor (Jinx). She is just the perfect match for Sully. This storyline is just unique and addictive. Pepper Winters has outdone herself with this beautiful writing. This series is sizzling hot!

Third a kiss

This series is fantastic and every book is better than the last. There is so many twists and turns in this book, it keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. I loved it and hated for it to end. These characters have found a place in my heart and I just adore them. Each cliffhanger just leaves me wanting more. This series is a five star masterpiece that I absolutely love. A must read!!

This is box set one in The Goddess Isles series and it contains Once a Myth, Twice a Wish and Third a Kiss and it starts Sully and Jinx's story. There are many twists and turns along with danger, darkness, Kidnapping, Abuse and other difficult and emotional situations. I was lucky to have read these books when they were released individually but they are the type of books that you can read over and over again and you enjoy them just as much as it it is the first time which is just what you expect from Pepper Winter who is an incredible author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention right from the first page until the last and you become totally addicted and I couldn't put this down as I had to see what would happen next and omg what a explosive ending. I definitely recommend you read this box set but just remember that you will have to read the next box set as it completes there story and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Box Set.

What a place in the Goddess Isles

The author, Pepper Winters, weaves a story beautifully. The first chapters pull you in to the characters. How she makes you like the anti-hero of a story still amazes me. This book is interesting and adds a new twist to the pleasure island. The lead male character named Sully Sinclair is something else. He is something wonderful and a jerk at all times. I really liked his BFF Cal too. He was so real with Sully all the time and not bowing down. These two run the island right. The female lead was Eleanor Grace and was something fierce and I liked her spirit. Although in the last 75 percent, I wasn’t crazy about Eleanor nor her internal dialogue. I had hoped that she would notice the dangers from the outside sources and the other Goddesses, but she stayed too in her head. Read On!

The prologue gave me goosebumps... My physical reaction to this series is an elixir in and of itself.

Sulley Sinclair is deliciously dark and enigmatic.
Eleanor is a beautiful dichotomy of the female persona.  She's vulnerable and strong, soft with sharp edges, she's patient and powerful and full of righteous rage.Eleanor truly steps into her role as goddess in this journey to an end that no one knows.  I'm looking forward to watching her fall into the depths of the isles.

This series is like watching the fates weave an intricate tapestry. How will thier future reality be woven as both keep tugging at the threads of fate?

I’ve never written a book review in my life so bear with me!

I absolutely loved this series as I did with all of Pepper’s books that I’ve read.

The characters and storyline sucked me right in and I couldn’t put them down.

There is a whole raft of emotions flying throughout the entire series and I fell in love with Sully and Jinx. Their passion, angst and every other emotion you can think of, is palpable.

The supporting characters are great too.

This is a very well written series and if you like strong, passionate, action stories and characters, you will not regret delving into the world of Sully and Jinx.

This is a Dark Romance, people so be warned! If this is your type of trope, it is the one to get! Sullivan and Eleanor will take you on a journey filled with everything a dark romance should have....depravity.....unpredictability.....drama.....suspense and more. Be ready for the ride because this set will keep you on the edge of your seat. I received a copy and I am choosing to leave my review.

Ms. Winters definitely builds worlds/places for her readers to be trapped willingly for hours at a time!

This time we spend our time with Sullivan and Eleanor in Paradise? I don't think so, and neither does Eleanor!

The chemistry between the mains is sizzling! What this means......!!!!?????!!!!!

Here we go; volume two can't be opened soon enough!

⭐️⭐️ DNF’d at 75%… I really struggled with the MCs. I loved the FMC at the beginning, but I did not enjoy what Stockholm did to her character. And the MMC… everything he did was just ridiculous and I couldn’t get behind liking him. I love dark romance and the story building kept being going for awhile with the island itself, but this one just wasn’t for me!

If you love dark romance you will definitely love this. I’m not going to say much because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. Dark, suspenseful, sexy, page turner, and kept me on the edge. Plus a unique story. Can’t wait to read the next books in this series.

It was a book that started with lust, not too much from the girl’s side initially, but still. Too lengthy of a read. Dnf’ed it at 13%

VOLUME ONE INCLUDES: ONCE A MYTH, TWICE A WISH, THIRD A KISS

Eleanor Grace is kidnapped by backpacking with her boyfriend. She is sold to a one Sullivan Sinclair, who asked for a girl of her description. Sullivan has been dreaming for years about a girl with dark hair and gray eyes that’ll bring him to his knees. So when he sees Eleanor when she lands on his shores, he knows she is the one from his dreams. Eleanor dislikes Sully but can’t deny that there is a connect between the two the moment she steps onto the sand of his islands.

Sullivan Sinclair is the king of multiple islands in the Java Sea, near Indonesia. He buys girls to use on his islands for the pleasure of men who are willing to pay for their services and Elixir - a drug that stimulates lust for hours. The location of these islands is undisclosed so, these guests must have an exclusive invitation from Sullivan himself.

Both Sully and Eleanor fight the attraction they have for one another while she is put to work on the island, where she believes she is having sex with guests. Eventually Eleanor gives in to the attraction and does everything in her power to make Sully see it.

There attraction to one another is insane! When paired with Elixir? OMG! If it wasn’t 100/100, it most definitely is wayyy past that. There is no denying that they’re meant for each other. They push their limits and go beyond.
