When a big shot production company plans to set their next biopic on the tiny island of Havensboro, everyone is thrilled—except me. I’ve almost got enough money saved to get off this rock, so I just need to keep my head down. I definitely do not have time for distractions.
Distractions like the leading man, global heartthrob Tom Hudel, who sneaks onto Havensboro ahead of filming to get a feel for the island.
No matter how melting his smile is. No matter how dizzying his accent is. No matter how gentle his eyes are.

What in the Wattpad is going on? I read this book because Natasha Luxe is one of the co-authors on the Heroes and Villains series with Liza Penn, which is a spicy take on the MCU, so of course I'm intrigued in reading it. I'm three books into that series and it's pretty enjoyable. And listen, I'm not above admitting that I enjoy published fanfiction, because I do. I like fanfiction, why not publish it, but this book was a Wattpad throwback from like 2014. Firstly, this book contained at least four of my least favourite things; sassy main character who's done with love yet falls in love with the first new man she meets, the main character being too quirky to recognise the incredibly famous actor sitting in front of them, insta engagement, pregnancy. I am that reader that immediately loses interest when the main character gets pregnant, any way, I read it. It was a book. If this is your kind of vibe, sure, I think you'll love it. The author is a good writer, I just don't necessarily think this brand of story is for me.
I wanted so badly to love this book, and I did, until the end. It was SO rushed. If the story could have been stretched out into a 300 page book I probably would have rated it 5 stars
*spoiler*
It is just not realistic to fall in love in like a week and get engaged in less than 3 months.
I've been in a kind of a funk lately, and desperately needed something to break up the tedium that unfortunately comes with reviewing the same genres over and over again.
This book was exactly what I needed. Although at only 123 pages, I would call it a novella and not a book. And as such, it was not without its problems (mainly that thing I like to call insta-love where the main characters meet and immediately fall in love, or in this case fall into bed first and in love a week later).
However, there was so much witty banter here between not only the main characters, but a couple of the secondary characters as well, that you couldn't help but feel like you were one of them. Added to this, coming from a small town myself, I felt there was a realistic quality to this where everyone knows everyone (and by extension everyone's business as well).
I definitely wish this one had been much longer with more detail about this couple, about their life together after they left the island, etc. I feel like if we had had some sort of build-up to them sleeping together and falling in love that it would have made this one feel even more authentic. However, I will read the other two books in this series just to see how they compare and eventually give one of this author's other (hopefully longer) books a chance as well.
A Tom Hiddleston small town romance, I think I died and went to heaven. This was so cute and I cant wait to start the next one featuring Sebastion hm i wonder what marvel star thats about 😍
What a waste of time Sorry but i’m so MAD at this book Did i know that it was short and steamy? Yeah sure and i can enjoy it from time to time novellas are a good break from heavy books but WTF WAS THAT No matter what this is still supposed to be a ROMANCE And i didn’t feel like it was Insta lust that’s all arg NOTHING WAS LOGICAL HERE LIKE IS THE IN LOVE IN THE ROOM WITH US???? Let’s do a little math here Man came to her little town a week before filming starts (7 days) and they fuck the first day they meet the day he arrives Okay still fine books starting with one night stands can still be enjoyable right? BUT NO BIG NO UH UH He felt in love with her and promised her he was gonna make her fall too like CALM DOWN BOY at the end of his same week (7 days I precise again) she’s in love too they have a fight for god knows what reason she tries to leave but he stops her and SURPRISE the fuck (without a condom this time) and 6 weeks later (42 days) she’s pregnant they’re engaged and talking wedding and craddles SO WHAT? NOTHING MADE SENSE it’s literally (42+7) let’s say 50 days so a month and a half and now they’re one big happy family WHERE IS THE LOVE STORY WHERE IS THE LOGIC HERE CAUSE I CAN’T FIND IT 1/⭐️ and i’m being generous it’s only because Tom was really down bad for her and that was cute but still AKHHHHH
was this good? yeah. was it amazing? no. did i eat this up? to a certain point, absolutely.
so here’s my problem. i love the writing, i love the plot, i love the characters. having them sleep together the first day they meet is absolutely fine. what gets me is just how short the book is. if this had been a full length 300+ pages book with a more fleshed out story and all the things we missed in that week that Tom asked her to give him, it would’ve been so so good. but when characters start talking about forever and being the only one after meeting that very day, it kinda ruins the illusion for me. even more so when they’re talking about being in love after a few days. then getting engaged and having a baby after 6 weeks… it’s just a lot in a short amount of time so i just need more to make it believable.

2.5 stars. This was Tom Hiddleston fanfiction, but it doesn't read like the Tommy H we all know and love. It's a novella and was mostly smut but here's the thing...I think I just need a whisper of a plot with my spice to actually enjoy it. Because what was the point of this? Avery meets someone famous, they hook up and she panics because she wants to leave her small town? So...do it? Sleeping with a celebrity shouldn't stop that. But what's her dream and ultimate goal... to waitress in another town? Tom seemed supportive if a bit vanilla in his pleasuring her but there was no reason for her to try to walk out. And it's a novella so it was quick anyway?
So, harmless smut but also more of a KU read to just pass the time.
I thought this book was adorable, simple and short with some sweetness and some spice. I’m an avid fan of self insert fanfic and this very much read like one of those, which is a vibe I love. I’ve been struggling to read a lot lately because of my adhd and this being a short book with an easy to follow plot was really nice for me. Really what I needed right now, super simple, short and sweet. Loved it!
Saw this on Tiktok and as a Tom Hiddleston fan, I couldn't not read it. It was super cute and a nice palette cleanser between books. I know a lot of reviews say it was too "fanfiction" like but as a regular reader of fanfiction, I don't see that as a negative. I would have read a longer version of this, I generally like a more slow burn story than the instant heat, but since this was short, I didn't mind.
Did BookTok convince me to get this out of morbid curiosity? -Indeed
Am I wee ashamed to put this on my read list? -Only if people knew what it was, and if they do then why they judging.
Is this a Watpad fix? -I guess... If you play that game
Lasting thoughts: For the timeline it is nonsensical and I felt like it was on Hallmark timeline. I also detested the ending. Why does everyone feel like they need to take that route.
Well it feels like few years ago when I was reading fanfiction. If I started this book it's especially because it's based on Tom Hiddleston. It's actually not that bad. It's quickly read and I like the vibe even though I would love to get more and dive deeper into the characters. The last 3 or 4 chapters definitely felt a bit rushed. I will maybe read the next MC based upon Sebastian
This is book one in the Celebrity Crush series, but it can be read as a standalone.
As with the other books in this series, the hero is based on a Hollywood heartthrob, in this case it is Tom Hiddleston. If I'm honest, this is the reason I read the series as the three actors used are my favourites.
This book is an easy, couple of hours read. A perfect escape. Loved it!
Nope.. did not like it one bit, yeah the story could’ve been a lot better than that. So unrealistic and honestly it looked like the pumped that story out in one afternoon In a rush. I think if you are gonna write something like this it needs to be longer, there needs to be more details and make the story itself slower
I loved the book, the only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish there was more to the plot. I think this book is fun and definitely sexy, but I want more to the story. I want to have more romance, more drama, more everything. I want to be swept off my feet by this Tom. I want to have more in depth feelings for him rather than just a quick romance that ends in pregnancy.

This was CRAZY!! If you're a Ton Hiddleston fan, my God read this. I mean come on!!! This book is spicy, sexy and downright for me blushing. Can't wait to read the others.
I think a story like this could have a lot of potential. I know its like a 50 page fanfic of Tom Hiddleston (and yeah, I'll be reading the Sebastian Stan and Chris Evans versions, too), but it could have been such a good romcom of given the page count it deserved.
Look, if you’re looking for smut, you’re gonna find it here. Maybe it’s just me, but I felt weirder reading this as it’s supposed to parallel a real person (Tom Hiddleston). Aside from that, there’s no actual plot to the book. It’s essentially just smut. But I guess I should’ve expected that.
The smut and the description of Tom's looks are pretty good. However, there is actually no plot and I wanted more description of the personality of Tom. Some things seemed a little out of character (as we know him from movies and talks).
Reviewing based on what this was: a very short novella that took me less than 2 hours to read. It is basically a quick fan fiction of Tom Hiddleston falling for a local girl where he is filming his next movie and I am not mad about it.
