Look, we all know that novellas can be hit and miss. They often try to cram a fully developed novel into half the amount of pages, so you forego natural sexual and emotional developments and instead get steaming piles of insta-lust and insta-attraction. If you can suspend your desire for the more natural relationships then this collection is an okay afternoon romp.

Vicki Lewis wrote the best novella of the collection. There was a genuine humour running throughout which I really enjoyed. I liked both of the lead couple and their relationship felt the most developed because they had a mutual attraction and an on-going relationship already.

Carly Phillips was the main reason I bought this collection because I love her solo work, however I wasn't that keen on her novella. I actually thought that the whole premise was perfectly fine, and I would have been happy with how the leads met and ended up together had they not swapped 'I love yous' at the end. It was far, far too soon. It was enough for them to decide to make it work together after ONE DAY but really... I love you? I barely even tell people that I've known a decade that I love them let alone someone that I didn't know if they preferred KFC or Mcdonalds.

Janelle Denison. Holy mother of books was this novella a terrible read. The dialogue was so stilted and wooden that I'd be surprised if the pages of the book weren't made from it. I didn't finish this novella simply because I couldn't get over the dialogue. I do really love friends-to-lovers plots but I was cringing so hard that I almost gave myself whiplash and it really wasn't worth it.

Overall, I'd recommend the first two novellas for an easy and steamy afternoon read, but the final novella was just awful.

Sueños prohibidos dentro de esta antología
Protagonistas: Hunter Jordan y Lindsay Scott
Argumento:

Three different stories connected by a book called SEXCAPADES. Three women each have unfulfilled relationships leading to marriage, until a torn page from this book brings them unexpected love and fulfilment. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Three sexy novellas that center around a common element: sexual escapades, each chosen from a book of suggested fantasy adventures at a bridal store. Our three heroines and heros are quick to get into the sensual action, and the sex sounds steamy indeed. Still, the women are pretty much cookie-cutter versions of one another: repressed (because they've been waiting for "the right man" to "bring out their hidden sexual depths"), recovering from romantic disappointment, and insecure about their own abilities and charms. The men also are pretty much identical: blue collar, emotionally distant (until "the right woman" tears down their walls by sheer force of her orgasms), gorgeous.

If you're looking for believable plots and plausible action, you'll be disappointed in this book. If, however, you're looking for fun reads about sexy romps in and out of the bed, you just might have found your next read!

ALL 3 stories were really fun and exciting. the best part is that each could have been longer/deeper involved and I would have loved it. that's my sign that it's a good short story! i already love janelle denison, and now i look forward to more from carly phillips and vicki lewis thompson!

I liked all three stories, but they were just okay; not anything special.

From story one through the third they did get better. I might have even given Janelle the 4 stars but with other two built in, the average was certainly 3.
