Twelve years have gone by since the love of Lou Ellen Grayson's life suddenly left town to pursue his dream of professional bull riding. Devastated, but determined to move forward, Ellie picked up the pieces and made a new life for herself. A life that doesn't include handsome cowboys or the risk of heartbreak.

The last twelve years haven't been a picnic for Brady Wright. A family tragedy has him calling it quits on his career, and brings him back to his hometown of Rocks River. He is ready for a fresh start, but is he here to stay, and will Ellie let herself fall for him again?
