The best path forward isn't always a straight line.
Ian’s life is going sideways.
A messy breakup with his cheating girlfriend and an attraction to coworker, Will, has him questioning everything – including his sexuality.
Open to discovering the truth, Ian wants to explore his interest in men. More specifically – his interest in Will.
But Ian knows dating a coworker is a bad idea. When Will makes it clear he isn’t looking for a relationship, Ian jumps at the chance to make his biggest fantasy come true.
Too bad his pesky feelings for Will are getting in the way.
Will isn’t interested in being someone’s test subject. Even if that someone is Ian, the star of Will’s secret fantasies.
Been there, done that, has the boot prints on his heart to prove it.
So, why can’t he say no to Ian’s request?
What’s happening between them isn’t supposed to mean anything. So, why are Will and Ian connecting in more ways than one? And why does it feel so right?
Please note that this book contains steamy and explicit scenes and may not be your cup of tea.
Tempt is the first in The Temptation series by Evelyn Bloom. And for this reader it was my first M/M book. I honestly was not sure how I would respond to this but let me just say I loved it. Evelyn's writing gets you completely immersed in this world with off the charts chemistry between two very hot teachers. Ian is a physical education teacher who just got dumped by a fellow teacher whom he was in a long term relationship with. Will is also a teacher at the same high school and he has a crush on Ian. When Will saves Ian from beating up a fellow teacher, they end up in very close proximity and their chemistry cannot be denied. I fell in love with both Ian and Will. They were both strong, loving characters and who also had some awesome friends. Very excited for the next installment in this series.
This was a great first go. I was immediately swept up in the main characters and invested in their HEA. I felt like the struggles Ian faced with coming to terms with his sexuality was handled with enough sensitivity and I appreciated addressing topics like kink shaming and internalized homophobia. Over all I would recommend this book if you're looking for a quick hot, sweet and steamy read. Filled with likeable side characters and two smoking hot men. Can't wait to read the next installment!
I wasn’t sure I was going to enjoy this book as it’s not my usual sort of read but I made the mistake of thinking I would just start it at 10pm and couldn’t put it down. I finished it at midnight. The characters are so believable and relatable I really enjoyed the story. It was sweet and sensitive and I can’t wait for the next one!
I absolutely loved this book. The chemistry between Will and Ian was scorching. What a great start for this author and I just can't get over how well written this was. It had everything - compelling storyline, hot sexy times, emotional depth and great side characters too. I am really looking forward to the next in the series!
Great start to the series!! This book was so good!! Who knew teachers had so much drama going on. I loved the chemistry between Will and Ian. I loved how supportive Rachel was of Ian. I received an ARC for an honest review. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
LOVED this debut novel and will be eagerly awaiting more in this series. The sexual tension and chemistry leaps off the page and had me reading it in one sitting. It is a HOT, sexy m/m romance with likeable, relatable characters. I really can’t recommend it enough.
Wow! Just wow. I loved this book. The chemistry between Ian and Will was great. It was a different kind of read for me, but it was definitely a book I recommend to read.
