Stargazing in Solitude
A raw and intimate account of the authors experience with terminal brain cancer and how it effected her entire life. I laughed, I cried, I felt angry, and I felt hope. This memoir is hard to put down and I found myself reading at every available opportunity. I read both of the authors memoirs and found both Frontal Matter: Glue Gone Wild and Stargazing in Solitude to be equally as amazing. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This is the second and final memoir Suzanne Samples wrote while she had terminal brain cancer. The Glioblastoma, previously known as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), is the most aggressive and most common type of cancer that originates in the brain, and has very poor prognosis for survival. Suzanne is 36 years old now and has out lived the odds of her not surviving a year. It’s not an easy read, it’s an honest read.
