Interesting stories for every kind of mood but one in particular truly spoke to me. "Soup Season" by Kara Q Rea is a very finely tuned story. It made me chuckle, smile, tear up, and believe I was somewhere back in time in another world wearing Harold Spicer's overalls. Beautifully written. I doubt anyone would suspect a young woman wrote this. The author has an old fashioned/down-to-earth flair that is delightfully comforting.
