Evangelist Todd White hears those words often. But the truth is that what Todd shares is not just a story - it's a testimony. It is evidence not only of what God has done but of what He wants to do again. It is evidence of what God can and will do for you, of what God wants to do for you.
Fully addicted to drugs and pornography as a child, Todd lived in darkness. But his testimony is about a journey from that utter darkness into marvelous light. It is about a man who hungers for the Word of God and has been radically saved, changed by it. It is about a man learning to be exactly who God created him to be. It is about a child of God walking in the light of Jesus and wanting others to walk in the light too.
With refreshing honesty, Todd White challenges readers to make Jesus their everything, to renew their minds, to be bold as lions, and to make an impact for the kingdom of God.
Life Is Short-Leave a Legacy.
TODD WHITE was a drug addict and atheist for 22 years until 2004 when he was radically set free! Todd believes that redemption and righteousness are the foundational keys for living life as a new creation in Christ. Todd's foremost desire is to see the Holy Spirit flowing through believers everywhere that they go-at work, school, grocery stores, malls, gas stations, and more. Todd's true joy is being able to reproduce a 24/7 kingdom lifestyle in every believer. His heart is to activate people in the simplicity of who they really are and confront the barriers that hold them back from being who God created them to be. No one is excluded!
Tidbits I gleaned from the book: Every place that you go, you bring the light. Often, people don't live out what they read in scripture because they don't really believe it. How can you intimately know the Father if you feel guilty all the time? Why would God give you more intimate knowledge of Him to people who aren't willing to act on what they already know? Worldly people can not take acceptance and belonging from you (reject you) because they never accepted you in the first place. True acceptance and love for who you really are can only come from the Lord.
I found it useful that he used his own testimony to make his points throughout the book and included several testimonies from other people in the back.
What a testimony! This book would be great to give to someone who needs to know Jesus is there for them, that He can transform anyone and give them new life in Him. It's also an uplifting read for seasoned Christians who could use a reminder about the Great Commission. Jesus is Love! Give it away as often as possible!
A very inspiring testimony of what Jesus can do. The story chapters are amazing to read. The teaching chapters are very dense, so you have to read very carefully to understand everything.
I do not agree with his Doctrine at all. He had some good points on living for Christ and especially getting into the word, but over all I can't agree with his Doctrine.
