Just friends.
That’s all Beckett Weaver and I have ever been.

Sure, he’s a hot cowboy who left Wall Street behind to take over his family’s ranch. Yes, I’ve had a secret crush on him since we were seventeen. And who wouldn’t appreciate those strong hands, that massive chest, and the way he fills out a pair of Levis?

He makes a girl sweat just looking at him . . . and I look.

It's a bittersweet goodbye - I'm sad to see this group of guy friends go, because every book in this series has been great. This is my least favorite of the four, but the bar is set VERY high, so I can't be too upset about that. I love how each book had its own vibe, yet there are so many commonalities that tie everything together. This childhood friends to lovers romance features a sexy and stubborn hero who just can't seem to get his head out of his... you know. It's STEAMY and angsty with som ...more

Sometimes we need books where we can easily fall in love with the characters without real obstacle, although for me it is still not enough at this moment. I wanted more from Beckett - I was more than excited to grab him, that is how he intrigued me from the previous parts of the series.
Altough, it turned out to be just a fine read.
Did I enjoy? Absolutely.
Devoured it in less than 1 day? Yepp! Will I remember weeks from now on what I read? Debatable. Probably, vaguably.
Still I wanted heartbreak,

This is a personal feeling
and it hurts me to say it, but is this where we are now in the saturation of romance novels? Are we so full of the same recycled story ideas and characters that there's no fresh direction in romance, except to thicken the plot with too much real life? No disrespect to the author. I understand the reality of life, and I'm not picking on any particular issue among the many in this story. The couple was weighed down

Melanie Harlow's stories are the epitome of feel good stories with sass and steam and all the delicious feels in-between. I was so excited for the final installment in the Bellamy Creek series and could not wait for Beckett and Maddie's book. This amazing couple was beyond sexy but more than anything their love story was heartwarming and butterfly-inducing!

What I loved more than anything was how Harlow showcased the love and respect and a deep caring between so many of the characters besides the

The final installment in Bellamy Creek is finally here!

This one has a second chance romance, mutual pining, a single mom, a cowboy, and a town full of friendship and acceptance.

Beckett has been holding down the family ranch and taking care of his ailing father. When Maddie, his childhood best friend and crush comes to stay while they renovate her childhood home, all those feelings come back to the surface. But did they

- They were childhood friends who were into each other but never dated. They kissed once when at their senior year but she had a boyfriend whom she lost her v card with but no details about. He only lost his virginity when he went to college and there were already living in different cities.
- he is not a manwhore and had one serious girlfriend for two years whom he never loved. She was married for about six years but the guy was a cheater, she was pregnant when he cheated the first time

A friends-to-lovers, small town story between two friends who reunite many years after graduation! Our hero who left the hedge fund world to become a cowboy/farmer, and our heroine who was recently divorced with one little boy, who wished to turn a blank page and restart afresh.
Tie me Down gives us the story of Beckett, who is the fourth friend in the foursome of Griffin, Cole, Enzo, and Beckett. This story gives you friendship, acceptance, rediscovery of one's self, and taking a leap

This was just okay. The writing wasn't bad, but the story did seem to drag at times. I did get annoyed because it seemed like it took them a while to finally get together. There wasn't anything holding them back except themselves. The main thing that turned me off from this story was the way Elliott was written. If you want to write an adult that way, fine. Let me know ahead of time, and I can decide whether I want to read or not. It made me put the book down and debate whether to finish. Boys w ...more

Cue the waterworks! No one tenderly squeezes my heart like Melanie Harlow. What a sweet and sentimental finale to this swoony and heartfelt series! I have ALL the feelings. I could not love these charming Bellamy Creek characters anymore - I'm so enamored by each and every one of them, and while saying goodbye is bittersweet, Tie Me Down is the perfect "full circle" story to wrap up this spectacular series.

Beckett and Maddie both grew up in Bellamy Creek and attended school together. Beckett had the biggest crush on her but never found the courage to be honest about how he felt. They had one memorable kiss in his backyard but it was the one and only time he truly let his guard down.

They headed off to college and onto their separate pathways, not seeing each other again for many years to come. Beckett went off to Wall Street and had a very successful career until his father’s ailing health brought

Beautiful, emotional and filled with moments that remind us that love finds us on its own time line and fate defintely has a hand in it. I LOVED IT!!!

So many happy and emotional tears as this beautiful series comes full circle. An epic bromance amongst four friends that spans a lifetime and the forever love each of them found along the way. The author definitely captured my heart with each book. Beckett and Maddie’s story was pure fate as they embraced their second chance.

With the last book in her Bellamy Creek series, Melanie Harlow delivers a charming, sexy, and heartfelt finale.

Maddie Blake and Beckett Weaver have been friends since childhood. They’ve also had crushes on each other since high school but for personal reasons were afraid to express their feelings.

Beckett Weaver & Maddie Blake were childhood best friends who parted ways when college approached, but stayed close friends for over a decade after. Beckett had a secret crush on Maddie in high school and Maddie kept choosing the wrong guy time and time again—a pattern that didn’t seem to change much over the years.

Now Beckett & Maddie are 33-years old. Beckett left his Wall Street job in Manhattan to take over the operations of his family’s ranch and care of his elderly father who has dementia

Melanie Harlow had my heart in a vice, and not just because of the second chance, friends to lovers romance between Maddie and Beckett but because of the friendship and love between the four friends of this series. She wrote a novel that reminded me of everything that is important about life:

1. Love is more than just feelings. Love is about choosing to stay. It is about supporting each other and showing up for each other.

I can’t ever remember being so disappointed by what was supposed to be a romance read.
And she saved the best for last! Okay, not necessarily, but Tie Me Down just might be my favorite of the Bellamy Creek series. But I can say that Beckett is my favorite of the "old man baseball" players, that's for sure!

Cried. Laughed. Cried. Laughed. Right now I am an emotional bag of mush.

Before I go on about those shoulders being as wide as a barn, I want to focus on Elliott and Mr Weaver.

Mr Weaver. Dementia is a heartbreaking disease. Becoming the parental figure of your parent is tough. Melanie Harlow, if I was to tell you how Beckett and Maddie should help Mr Weaver, it would be exactly what they did. Talk about what he knows, don’t challenge a repeated question, just answer it. It really doesn’t matter

I'm so not ready to say goodbye to this series.

But what a wonderful, wonderful way to end it.

There wasn't one single thing I didn't love about this book. Everything touched me so deeply, so beautifully, from the very first page I was hooked and even more in love with the characters.

BTW, where can I find myself a Beckett Weaver?
Some people love a bad boy, including me if my mood calls for it. But I'm a complete sucker for a good guy. And Beckett was the epitome of the good guy. He took the word "

Bittersweet, heartwarming, uplifting... all the words that conjure up the feeling of family, friendship and belonging, a warmth in your heart and a comfort knowing you are where you are meant to be.....that’s what this wonderful series from Ms Harlow brings.

It is sad to finish but I think Beckett’s story was perfect for the final visit. His matter of fact, zero emotion persona hides the biggest heart.... a heart he doesn’t show with his words but in the way he cares for those around him, treas

From the start I have been invested in this group of friends from Bellamy Creek and while I'm sad their stories are over it ended with an amazing one!

Beckett grew up on a farm in this small town loving one girl and he left it for the big city with that girl still in his heart. Maddie has had the same crush but has always chosen the wrong guy for the wrong reasons. While time and circumstances let their lives drift apart the sale of her house brings Maddie back to town and back into Beckett's lif

This is the weakest book in the series imo - which is so disappointing because overall, I really enjoyed all of the books preceding this one. Personally I don't really enjoy the friends to lovers trope. I prefer reading about the how couples met and the relationship progression that follows. The fact that these two have known each other practically all their lives and spent nearly all of it pining for each other would have been sweet had there been literally nothing tangible standing in the way ...more

Disappointed...2.5, maybe 3 stars

I usually really enjoy this author's books and was really looking forward to the last book in this series, but I was totally disappointed. The story was ok, but not as exciting as I'd had hoped. But what really bothered me was the political/woke aspect of the 6 yr old boy. These books are my getaway from the real world and this book dragged reality into it. I don't know if the author was trying to appease the woke generation in hope to boost her sales & popularit
