I read this aloud to pre-K students. Great illustrations. Helps teach children to be aware of how their actions can affect others.

It's hard being an young elephant and be quiet. That's what Little Elephant finds out when his mother gets their new baby to sleep and he's told to be quiet so ,the baby doesn't wake up. With lots of love, Little Elephant runs off to have fun yet everything he likes to do, is noisy. Being in the company of the other jungle animals, they keep an eye on him and remind him throughout the day, to keep quiet as he tries to have a good day.

It's so hard Little Elephant realizes and it really gets him

Was a fun book, read this before sleep time. Eli enjoyed the pictures. Good variety of jungle animals to talk about when he is older.
