YES, glad to see this stick the landing! I really loved where the macro plot ended up and am very excited for what I assume will be a continuation in this world. It was fun to see the series start in one place and actually go somewhere in terms of world and plotting. If we can continue to see some deeper characterization introduced, this could be a real winner in my book

This a solid five star read! I love this series...there is always something different and new revealed but you are more than satisfied with the happy ending. Yet, there is more to come and it will definitely be a must read for me. I am happy to see this talented author stretch. Every time there is a new series it is more cleverly written than the last. 3 1/2 "Angel" Stars
Love, love, love this series. This was a fantastic addition and I love where the series is going and that it will be ongoing. One thing... the heroine in this one was just a little pitiful. Well, maybe a lot. Girl was needy. But she pulled through. The Hero had some real emotional trauma to overcome. But he pulled through too. Can't wait to start the next book. Happy reading!

Another unknowing couple (well, not a couple YET, but the potential is there when then find themselves alone on a strange planet) is dropped naked into an unknown landscape and, well, naked is good when it comes to these aliens, I guess. They make things work. Naked. And they aren't terribly bothered by said nakedness. I mean, the human women are a little bothered by it, but the alien dudes? They're good.
So. Mina and Myk-El. He's a winged, scientifically-minded man who's dealt with love and betrayal once and has no intention of dealing with either again. She's a human woman who doesn't want to head back to earth since her circumstances there were not so great.
He's trying to ignore the growing attraction he feels for her. She's trying to figure out a way to stay on this non-earth planet. A few kisses, a little steam, a dose of danger.
Yup, I'm still digging these aliens and humans and the experiment they're sucked into against their will. *thumbs up*

Argumento:

Mi humilde opinión:
Un nuevo experimento de los científicos conduce a Mina, una humana huérfana y a un alien rechazado a encontrarse y enamorarse en un clima gélido en las montañas.
Mina no tiene familia ni hogar, después de ser acosada por el novio de su compañera de piso y despedida de su trabajo injustamente termina en la calle sin esperanza. Myk-El es un alien alado con cicatrices de guerra, después de pasar torturas, regresa a casa para encontrar a la mujer que creyó amar embarazada de su hermano, la traición lo hace jurar nunca confiar otra vez en una mujer hasta que rescata de morir congelada a una frágil humana que le muestra lo que es la verdadera lealtad y amor.
Otro romance agradable con mucha pasión. Myk-El y Mina pasaron por tantas cosas feas que quería verlos encontrar su HEA. Una o dos le quise pegar a Myk-El por ser tan ogro con Mina pero eventualmente se entrega a sus sentimientos y me alegre que le diera todo lo que le faltaba, protección, familia y amor. Disfruté esta nueva aventura con una nueva pareja y mascota, adoré a Draco!
Me encanta que todos los libros estén interconectados y aparezcan personajes de los libros anteriores. Cada vez todo tiene más sentido. En este se descubren las verdaderas intenciones de los científicos, La’tok’at’bron y Va’rik’at’char, que al principio creí que no eran muy buenos, pero me di cuenta de que querían más que probar sus teorías. De verdad querían que las parejas tuvieran éxito.
Se viene la historia de Va’rik’at’char, ha decidido probar sus propios experimentos y encontrar su propia pareja.

This story began with a great hook and I was drawn in immediatly to Mina's plight. Of course, she wakes up naked on another planet. And she gets a little pet/friend that you will just love, but I'm not going to give it away. I always enjoy Honey's pets. I TOTALLY fell in love with "Angel man," Myk'El! I mean, he has wings. You had me at wings... and he's huge, has long hair, and he smells REALLY good! This is the last book in the series and it definitely delivers on answering the questions you might have about the scientists. The Buff Beast delivers in a very sensual manner and the steamy parts are perfect. I just loved everything about this one! You will want to seek shelter with Mina and Myk'El. He's my book boyfriend of the week! I am honored to beta read for Honey and I think Exposed to the Elements has been a super series. 5 stars!

Una lectura rápida, amena y mi favorito de la serie, y parece que el último de la misma. Tanto Mikel como Mina son los personajes más complejos de los que la han compuesto. También me ha gustado cómo se desarrolla la historia entre ellos. Además, por fin sabemos lo que está pasando en el planeta al que se ven arrastrados todos los personajes.
Posiblemente continúe la historia con el personaje al que hace referencia al final, aunque no tengo claro si su historia continuará como parte de esta serie o será el inicio de otra.

A muscled winged alien with a swirly *ahem*? SIGN ME UP!
This was cute, and sweet, and steamy, and fun, and everything else this series has been! Another cute animal companion (dragon baby!) another Naked and Alone premise, lots of quick attraction and feelings. And a small bit of angst as well! Loved seeing these two people who had essentially been treated like nothing by the people in their lives who should have loved them most. I loved their relationship so much. Really great characters and another fun adventure. I was super happy to see all of the previous couples come together and meet. And meet our two mysterious scientist beings as well! We got a full back story and it was great to finally understand exactly why they were doing this research and why the planet was empty of any sentient beings, what all of the ruins were, etc. And I'm pretty sure one of these beings (let's face it, without going back I'm not gonna be able to remember or spell his name lol) will be the hero in the next book! After he is placed inside a physical body. At least that's what all the signs point to. So I'm very excited to see what the next book is like and who the two MCs are!

A fast read. Mina was homeless and on the brink of dying from sleeping outside in the cold when she awoke to a snowy terrain on a whole different planet. Mikel was a solitary winged-alien-inventor who was also mysteriously transported to that planet. They both woke up with a satchel containing a thermal blanket and directions to a location where they presumably can enter to go back to their respective planets. Mikel met Mina near death and nursed her back to health. In response, Mina tried kissing him to say thank you out of the blue, as if that was a normal thing to do.
Mikel had trauma from returning home to his (then) girl, pregnant by his brother after being a war prisoner. He thought he should get her to go home before she leaves him first. Mina didn't object when he dropped her off to the building because after being bounced from foster homes, she learned that objecting wouldn't change the outcome. Mina didn't enter the building but wandered off to the jungle, where she was caught by a giant spider. Mikel heard her screams and rescued her after realising how stupid he was. They returned home together.
They went on vacation one day and Mikel went to do something. When he returned, he saw Mina shaking hands with another alien male. Mikel went on a jealousy rage and plucked her back home. They had a fight and Mina fell a long way down. Before he could get her, she disappeared. Turns out, she was rescued by the aliens who had abducted them and other couples to that planet. The aliens didn't think Mikel would reach her in time and planned to relocate her to a more deserving mate, even though they were only together for a very short time.
Mikel met up with the other alien male and his human mate and went to the building to find her. He found her and the kidnappers explained that the aliens inhabiting the planet were dying and they wanted to find out why. And they discovered that mates were the key to survival. They convinced their abductees to stay and help out the next generation of the dying aliens, and they just agreed. I get why Mina wouldn't go back to Earth but Mikel? I was hoping they'd flesh out his story more. Although he'd get a new lab, he seemed to miss his old lab in the early chapters, and he forgot about it in the end there.
I think the ending was weak. It's a decent cozy alien romance book if you want something fast and easy to read.

Wow. This book was the one we've been waiting for! With the fourth couple of the series, we finally get answers to why these humans and aliens are being snatched from their respective worlds. Of course I can't spoil it, but when it all comes out, it's surprisingly touching and not at all what I was expecting.
I'm not ashamed to say I was a little teary-eyed at two points in the story. Maybe it was just hormones, but it also meant I was invested in the characters and story arc, which is every author's goal. Mina's background was heartbreaking, but as a result she was so open to Myk'El and unafraid of him from the moment he saved her from the cold. Unlike one or two of the other books, communication wasn't a big issue and there wasn't a significant delay before they met; it was right to the good stuff.
I liked Mina's character and understood why she had a hard time asking for what she wanted. Myk'El didn't realize how much he was hurting her by pushing her away, due to his preoccupation with his past experiences. Although their ages are not mentioned, it seems as though there is a larger age gap between Mina and Myk'El than the other couples (maybe 15-18 years?), but it wasn't off-putting at all. He calls her 'little one'. Aww. And I was satisfied with the steam level, although the love scenes are fairly short in these books. [Side note: it's been a long time since Honey gave us a virgin heroine, and this would have been the perfect book for that. Sigh. The only two previous ones I can recall are Ella and the Emperor and Beth and the Barbarian, and both times I was very disappointed with the kinky aspects that were brought in (dom/sub, exhibitionism, non-consensual voyeurism, etc).]
In conclusion, Buff Beast brings all the couples together to find out who is behind their abductions and WHY. As I said before, I don't think any of us readers could have guessed the explanation beforehand. And then to find out it's not over! Honey did a great job of 'humanizing' the experimenters and I can't say more to avoid giving anything away. I'll just say I recommend this book, and if you are curious, but don't want to read the entire series, you could read only Bare Essentials and Buff Beast and not be lost at all.

Mina was a foster child shuttled to different homes, when she left there she got a job and eventually a home at the house of her coworker. When her roommate/coworker found her boyfriend trying it on with Mina, she immediately blamed Mina and kicked her out. The next day she lost her job because of the lies told about her. She was homeless and sleeping under a bridge one night and when she woke up she was naked on a strange mountain. When it started snowing she started getting colder and colder. The Myk-el showed up and saved her. He too had been taken from his home and brought to this planet. He took Mina back to his temporary cave and looked after her. The sexual tension between them was off the charts and despite his reluctance to get close to a female, they both found pleasure with each other. My-el just couldn’t get his past experiences out of his mind and decided to take Mina to the white building that should hold they key to sending her home. He dropped her off and left so Mina decided she would find her way back to him, instead she found a gigantic alien spider and luckily Myk-el was on his way back to find her when he heard her screams. One day soon after he flew them to the beach and there they found the first being they had seen on the planet, Myk-el saw Mina go to touch this being and he freaked out and basically accused her of cheating. They go back to their mountain home and Mina admits her love for Myk-el, before he has a chance to respond the ledge they are standing on literally drops out from under Mina ‘s feet. My-el tries to reach her before she hits the floor and he just about reaches her when she disappears completely, poof!! He goes to the only other person he’s seen on this island and asks for his help in finding his mate. He ends up at the white building but in order to get his mate he has to pass one last test.
This is an alien abduction book with a wonderful storyline and amazing characters. It has some steamy scenes and a happily ever after ending guaranteed.

Y'know, I could actually cut/paste my reviews of the last three books, and they'd be pretty much the same...
Mina is a homeless 18-year old girl living under an overpass when she's whisked away and dropped naked on the side of a snow-covered mountain on an alien planet. With her is a cute baby snow dragon, a bag with a map and reflective blanket, and a LOT of sub-zero winds. Enter Mik'El (← interesting name, since 'el' is 'of God' in Hebrew, and she thinks he's an angel). He's a winged scientist who's velvet skin and feathers keep him warm. Most of Phillip's aliens aren't much different from human males, but this one has white wings, velvet, fangs/claws, and more of a flowered duck-dong (that sounds ridiculous, but...). I gave extra stars for her actually making this hero a little less human. *Finally.*
Mik'El has been betrayed by Lil'et (← also an interesting choice of name, as Lillith is the traditional name of the evil temptress of old, or the female version of Satan). And of course the furbie critter in this one is 'Draco' (dragon). So there are a LOT of spiritual undertones in this one. These little details bought the book another star, BUT...
As with the other books, there's shelter, food, a convenient hot spring (in a mountain cave a high elevations, no less), and a hero who can make anything, hunt, and totally do everything necessary for her. Including the sex-sex-sex-sex thing... even though this particular hero is supposed to be sworn off women. Yeah, *right*.
The other reason I gave this another star is because Mina is fleshed out a *tiny* bit more, as a character. She's always on the cusp of pain from rejections past/present, and that makes her more vulnerable and relatable than any of the other heroines in this series. Mik'El is NOT fleshed out, though - we're only given allusions to burned wings and a military background of some sort. It's... irritating as hell.
At the end? A lot of information is revealed, all four couples meet up, and... well, there's an 'encore' teaser. Which is intriguing. So... yeah. This was a little better. Considering.

The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was clean, with no typos that I found and well constructed sentences. The world building was vivid, with the mountains coming to life. The characterization was competent, with both hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals. The development of the romantic relationship was sweet and a little turbulent. The heat level was four chili peppers. The plot was tight and exciting, with the reader finally figuring out what the purpose of the experiments were. There was a fair amount of angst on the part of the hero. As a consequence, I found him to be a bit of a whiny brat. The heroine had far more justification to whine about her life than the hero did, frankly, so I found all the sympathy and attention extended to the hero and his trauma in this novel, instead of the heroine, really irritating. The stakes in this novel were lower than in some previous novels in this series. I tend to enjoy high stakes and low angst in my romances, but I still enjoyed this novel despite the high angst and relatively lower stakes. This novel used the Mars Needs Women trope and the Alien Experiment trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were all four stars in this novel. The characterization was three stars and the development of the romantic relationship was four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. This novel had a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a big plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy short, sweet sci-fi romances with good world building. I look forward to reading the next book in this series when it releases. I may buy myself a keeper copy of this novel. This was the first novel in this series that I may want a keeper copy of.

Love this series💖💞💖
I really love this series! Each book has been it's own fun adventure with an amazing couple and cute little animal friend that we ale your heart. It's this books adventure Mina is homeless , she's went from foster home to foster home, when she finally aged out she found a decent job she liked and a few friends. One of those so called friends gave her a place to stay, but then everything fell apart when her friends boyfriend attacked her. That one event made her homeless, friendless and jobless. She finds shelter under a bridge one night but when she's awakes she's naked, cold and no longer on Earth. Mikel looks like an honest to goodness Angel with fangs and claws! He as a proud soldier who was wounded. When he returned home he found out his brother betrayed him and the woman he thought he loved did as well. He closed himself off from everything except his science lab so that he would not be hurt again. After an unexpected visit from his ex which leaves him cold he too wakes up naked and on a new world with absolutely no desire to go home.. The weather and dangerous circumstances bring Mikel and Mina together along with an adorable Dragon like bird named Drago. They rescued each other from loneliness but fear of being hurt and left still plague both. A bit of danger and the threat of being returned to their homeworld and separated for good, opens their eyes. That no matter what love is worth fighting for. Excellent story I can't wait for the next. We now know why and who are behind these couples coming together! I am in love with this series, and this book is no exception! It's like Naked and Afraid... but with aliens on an alien planet. Each book features a different species of alien and a different environment.
This book's heroine is Mina- a young woman who grew up in the foster care system and is now homeless. She has no family or place to go when she woke up in the cold mountains in an unfamiliar world. The hero is Myk-El, a Letenjan male with white feathered wings, white skin and hair, silver claws, and fangs. Myk-El finds her frozen and near death, and she mistakes him for an angel when he saves her.
It was both wonderful and heartbreaking to watch the relationship form between them, because they both have suffered pain in their pasts and fear being hurt now. Both desperate for love yet both afraid of rejection and pain. I won't say much as not to give anything away. This book was definitely a page turner for me. Though the attraction/intimacy was quick at times, the forming relationship felt natural given their emotional baggage. We get more insight and answers regarding the tests/experiments surrounding the couples being brought to this planet. This one is definitely a must-read! Looking forward to the next book! 5 stars.

Mina is down and out she is living on the streets under a overpass bridge. It’s so cold but she wakes to more cool on the side of mountain. How did she get here and what happened to her clothes. She finds a woven bag that has strange stuff in it a small square if silver stuff that opens to a blanket and a plastic thing she not to sure of. But she needs to get off this mountain it’s getting colder. As she finding her way off the mountain she find a small crack in the wall of the mountain climbs inside to try to stay warm, when she hears a whimper what she fines is a bird like critter or is it a dragon. After she takes the critter back into her craves it’s so cold she started to fall victim to the cold. That’s when he appears and gets her and she mistakes him as a Angel she thinks she has died. Mikel is look for this little bird he rescued now it’s missing when he finds it it’s being held by a small female that is very cold. After rescuing her she is sick but he nurses her back to health then they need to find out where they stand with each other. But thing will change for them and they will all find out who brought them there and why. So enjoy another good story and find out what is going on!!

A Delightful read !! Can't wait for the next book !!!
This book made me smile !!!
In this book, we find Mina. She is a young lady finally out of foster care, and on her own. But circumstances lead her down a dark path, and she is more alone and destitute then ever.
Falling asleep under a bridge in freezing weather is not where she thought that she would end up.....
Miy'Kel , is a Winged scientist that has had some hard times. He is mostly shunned in his village, but deep down, he longs. He longs for a family and love , just like the rest of us.
These two find themselves thrust into an alien place, and must find a way to move forward together.
And , of course, that is Not got to be easy !!!
I enjoyed this book, as i have the rest in this series. I enjoyed seeing couples from the previous books, and how the book flows and little surprises that are thrown in . Also answered some questions of WHY the ," tests" , have taken place. Already can't wait for the next book !!!!

How would you handle yourself if you suddenly woke up naked on another planet? I would be… not great. Yeah. But this entire series is just that. For hero and heroine.
It’s a twist on ever sci fi series ever made where people are unwittingly made part of an experiment. And that’s pretty obvious so I don’t feel like it’s a spoiler at all.
“Our theory is that the capacity to form a mate bond is what keeps a species from becoming extinct—that bond, love if you will, between a male and a female. The human females seem to have the ability to inspire it.”
Hilarious. Especially when every other alien series has a mating-bond-abled dying race. Whatevs, right? This is just fun. Again I skipped a couple installments. Must go back and get those read.
The heroine is surprisingly stable given her foster background. So weirdly proud of her for that. And he is by contrast unsatisfied with his old life and just takes the new planet as a huge opportunity. Gotta love that as well. The third “character” or pet is a mini dragon. Can’t go wrong there. Wish I had one!

Hilarious. Especially when every other alien series has a mating-bond-abled dying race. Whatevs, right? This is just fun. Again I skipped a couple installments. Must go back and get those read.
The heroine is surprisingly stable given her foster background. So weirdly proud of her for that. And he is by contrast unsatisfied with his old life and just takes the new planet as a huge opportunity. Gotta love that as well. The third “character” or pet is a mini dragon. Can’t go wrong there. Wish I had one!

As an avid reader of sci-fi and romance novels, I jumped at a chance to get an ARC copy of Ms. Honey Phillips' newest feature. And as always, she did not fail to bring the adventure, energy, and passion to the pages of this story. From the starting point, the back-stories of both Mina and Myk-El tug at every possible heart-string you have. Ever a mistress of prose, the language flows effortlessly from line to line.
When you pick up this quick-read be ready to be thrust into another world, temporarily disoriented, momentarily rendered heartsick, and grounded in rapid succession. I was able to devour this book when I should have been paying much more attention to my laundry, but I couldn't tear myself away.
Definitely recommend you add this to your personal library and while you are in the store, check out Ms. Phillips' other series as well. I highly recommend "Deb and the Demon."

I'll finally give 5 stars to one of the books from this series, but I'm honestly reconsidering giving 5 stars to The Naked Alien as well.
I'm in love with this series, I'm sad to think the next installment could be the last one. I like that the author is able to make each book unique and not feel like I'm reading the same book over and over again, but at the same time we get the same world and it has a bigger plot than just each installment.
I loved the H and I could relate to his past, I think I would be a little more skeptical than he was even. The h was strong but at the same time was able to show her fears of abandonment.
Loved the getting together at the end and am looking forward to reading the next story.

very good continuation of the story
I LOVE this series and the continuation of the story line (for the series) is very good in this book! We finally start to understand what is happening to the characters. And while the sex/love is great in this story, I liked this romance the least of the series. For two reasons, one because of mkel’s cold behavior towards Mina (the other H in the series are warm and loving right away) and two, because the insta love was less believable in this story than the others. It might have been that caring for Mina while sick caused mkel to fall for her but she was mostly unconscious so it didn’t make sense, plus he kept pushing her away and being cold towards her so I never felt like it made sense why Mina insta loved him. I wish there had been more time getting to know each other and then developing feelings before the pushing away and cold behavior. But the end made sense, wrapped up very satisfyingly and I still enjoyed the book.

Book 4
This was a great “conclusion” to the series. I will admit that I did get frustrated by Mikel more often than not, but he also fulfilled my love of broken males “that need a good caring woman to show them the way”. His constant war between what his heart (and body) desired vs what his mind feared was really the driving force of this book. Mina was too forgiving at times. I wished she had fought harder, but because of her past I understood her reluctance. And it was that softness that balanced Mikel’s hardness out. The female getting a pet trend continued in this book and I’m all about that. The end was really nice as well. I’m glad all the couples got to meet and the reveal of why the scientists were doing the experiments was really well done. It was also nice to know that even in the most dangerous of situations, they were looking out for the females. I’m really excited to read the next book and see where it goes from here.

I love the series so much and this story is another great addition!
I really liked both Mina and Myk-El. They’ve both suffered pain in the past and now are haunted by the fear of being hurt again.
Their relationship is great and their attraction - very intense. It takes time for them to trust again, to overcome their fears of rejection and pain and to open their hearts to love. But in the end, they get their well deserved HEA.
And the alien pets, Draco included, are always so adorable! Now, I want a mini-dragon...
I’m really happy that we got some answers why all these kidnappings are happening.
Overall, the story is a wonderful and fast-paced read filled with drama, inner conflicts, doubt, angst, steam and great characters.
I loved every page of it and can't wait for the next one!

Love it! Love it! love it!
I know I say this about every book but, is just because I enjoy them so much!
So, we are back in the lab with our dear friends Va’rik’at’char and La’tok’at’bron and, yes! This is the book where everything gets revealed. I know, Is so exciting!
Mina is in a bad situation, after losing her job and living quarters, she is living in the streets. Winter is coming and she knows she will not last long in the city.
Myk-El is a former soldier, now a scientist, after being betrayed by his former fiancé, he secludes himself in his lab with his experiments.
Mina and Myk-El find themselves in a new world, abducted and with no idea how to go back. They will need to work together to figure out why they are here but, with their past experiences trust is slow and their kidnappers are scheming in the background.
