A new dirty dark romance Boxed Set by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Clarissa Wild! Contains more than a 1000 pages of brooding men claiming the women they crave.
Book 1 - CAGED: They call me savage. An untamed beast. I was born in the cage. Born to fight. Born to carry its name. Locked away, I’ve spent years waiting for my mate. I'm pent up with need. Brimming with desire. All I want is her... That beautiful girl from the picture on my prison wall. Now she’s finally here, sharing a cell. So close. So hard to resist. But one thing’s for sure… Even if she doesn’t know it yet, she’s already mine.
Book 2 - LOCKED: People say I’m ferocious. Wild. Dangerous. They’re right. That’s why I live on an island alone. The jungle is my home. My personal prison. Until she arrived. The moment her helicopter crashed on my land, everything changed. She’s the only survivor … And I’m keeping her locked up in a pit. It’s been too long since I last touched a woman, especially one so beautiful. It makes me hunger for her. I want her … So I’ll keep her … And I’ll make her mine.
Book 3 - CHASED: I’m filthy rich … and ruthless.
I live for the hunt. The chase. My desires aren’t exactly normal. But neither is she … The girl I bought. She’s innocent and blind. Perfect for all my wicked needs. Perfect to prove just how far I’m willing to go. But there’s just one problem … I’m falling for her. Deep. Hard. Fast. Even though I’m the bad guy. The man who keeps her locked away. I’ll do anything to make her stay. One thing’s for sure … She will be mine.
Book 4 - BRANDED: She was supposed to be my forever. Instead, I became her worst enemy.
I fell for the one girl I could never have… And it destroyed us both. I did a bad, bad thing. But she isn’t exactly innocent either. When I’m faced with the ultimate choice – Let her die or save her – I grab her and run. She calls me a monster. The devil himself. No one will take her from me. She’s mine to punish. Mine to keep… forever.
Book 5 - HANGED: Criminal. Outlaw. Murderer.
That’s only a few of the names people call me, and all of them are true. I did the unforgivable. I killed a man in broad daylight. I did it for her. I paid my dues, did my time. Now I’m out and I want her back, no matter the cost. She hates me, but that won’t stop me from hunting after her. I need her to be mine again. And there’s a secret I have to tell … But everything has its price. I’m willing to pay. Is she?

Clarissa Wild is a New York Times & USA Today Bestselling author with ASD, who was born and raised in the Netherlands. She loves to write Dark Romance and Contemporary Romance novels featuring dangerous men and feisty women. Her other loves include her hilarious husband, her cutie pie son, her two crazy but cute dogs, and her adorable kitties. In her free time, she enjoys watching all sorts of movies, playing video games, and cooking up some delicious meals.
CAGED: a story that has made me go through several emotions:😭💔😱🙂. Ella is a young woman who loses her sister in a tragic way when she is very young and since then she is unable to talk to people, except her parents. One night she is kidnapped from her house, and upon waking up she finds herself locked in a glass cage with a man as a confinement partner, Cage. Until she begins to “adjust” to her new situation, she tries to not cause trouble with Graham, her jailer. Cage fights to death but she doesn’t know why she ended up in that place and when she finds out that it’s for Cage to impregnate her and thus continue with the race of fighters that Graham wants, and that is when she decides to escape. Cage, despite being a savage, is also a very sweet character, who would give his life over and over again in order to protect Ella.
LOCKED: Lock is Cage’s older brother. He has long been secluded on an island in solitude until he sees a helicopter crash on the island. He goes to the scene of the accident and there he sees Jules, the only survivor. He heals her, tries to feed her, takes her to his house but she keeps running away from him over and over again, wanting to leave the island and return to her home. But in the end she gives in to the attraction that she feels for him, although it also leads to multiple arguments between them, he wants to stay and she wants to leave. The most beautiful moment is the meeting with Cage.
CHASED: Syrena is sold by Graham and her buyer, Chase, the first thing he does to her is take her to a forest, let her go and them try to hunt her. Syrena is blind by the way. But the moment he is going to kill her, he stops and he takes her to his house and tries to make her feel comfortable but she feels like a prisoner. She tries to seduce him thinking that he will soften up and free her but what she doesn’t know is that Chase is a serial killer. Although the story is twisted and you may think that Chase is a monster, the real villain is Graham.
BRANDED: Brandon is Chase’s friend. He lives with his father and has to put up with racist comments from the townspeople bc he is an Indian. Dixie is the youngest of 3 siblings and her parents have a farm in that town. Both MCs meet as children and as they grow up they become closer until they end up dating, but an incident causes the police to look for Brandon and he asks Dixie to run away with him, but she refuses bc she doesn’t want to abandon her family. And from that day on everything goes wrong, leaving death and pain in its wake. The MCs don’t see each other again until a long time after just before Dixie plants a bomb inside the hotel where Brandon works. The lies put these characters through hell and finding the path to forgiveness seemed impossible.
HANGED: short story starring Hanson, Brandon’s friend, who is serving a prison sentence for killing a man. The reason? To save the life of his little daughter.
-Locked (5 Stars) Juliet, a biologist, was headed to an uncharted island to study the plant life there. However when an accident causes her helicopter to crash land she is left the only survivor of the crash. Hurt and alone she wakes up to find there is some life on the island in the form of a huge muscular stranger that has taken her & locked her up. Will she find a way to get free and back to civilization or will she learn to like it there with the mystery man. After a horrid upbringing, Lock has been living in seclusion on a island away from the outside world until a helicopter crashes with a beautiful woman still alive amongst the wreckage. Intrigued by the beautiful woman but scared of what the outside world can do he has to decide to help her get home or keep her for himself. Dual POV, this book is tied into the Caged book but can be read as a standalone however I recommend reading Caged first
-Chased (5 Stars) This is Syrena’s story and If you’ve read Caged then you will know who she is however this can be read as a standalone. Syrena was captured, caged underground to a ruthless man and now sold to a new owner. She wants nothing more than to finally be free. Chase is a mysterious man that buys a blind girl named Syrena at an auction. He wants her for a certain reason yet his demons and secrets make him want her for another reason all together. Could she be the key to helping his salvation or destroying him completely? So many secrets and twists is what makes these books great! Told in dual POV
-Branded (5 Stars) Brandon Locklear works as a security guard at his Uncle’s casino. When he tries to stop an emergency he runs into none other than the girl from his past and family enemy Dixie Burell! What will he do when faced with the decision to stay loyal to his family or the girl from his past? They met as children..began a friendship.. then the actions of their families made them enemies. When they finally learn the truth what will they do? Clarissa knows how to write a dark romance and this one is no exception! I loved the back and forth with Brandon & Dixie! This book goes from past to present so you get the whole back story also. Oh and love the cameo from Chase! ;) Told in dual POV.
-Hanged (5 Stars) Well this might be a short novella but the story is perfect! Lillian and Hanson both sacrifice everything for a little girl named Daisy. This was a beautiful story of loss and redemption. Told in dual POV.
Starts out okay, keeps getting worse until it’s unreadable
This series starts out okay (like, the first half of book 1), then keeps getting more and more implausible, where even the characters who weren’t raised in captivity don’t seem to understand how the world works. There are all these incredibly stupid plot devices to try to draw out the “tension,” but instead of creating tension they just create aggravation at how contrived and implausible they are. For example, girl is kidnapped and escapes and tries to get help for a man left in captivity — the nurse tells her she’ll report it the next day because it’s just a missing person and the police won’t do anything with it right away. Then the police dawdle around with it, too, because apparently they don’t care about high-profile cases with intense media coverage where people are dying locked up in a cell? I ended up skimming huge sections, skipping to the epilogue in one book, just to find out a little more about the characters from the first book, and eventually gave up entirely partway through book 4 which skips all over the place, going back and forth on the timeline, again all the interests of creating drama around a threadbare plot and poorly realized characters. We were introduced to the male lead of book 4 in book 3 and, despite everything, I was a little curious about the backstory. But it doesn’t seem to match the person in book 3 at all. The character in book 3 had law enforcement contacts, seems very savvy, and can track down criminals. The one in book 4 is age 30 when I gave up reading, didn’t finish high school, and worked at a convenience store and as a security guard (both for family). Which leads to one of the many problems with the books—she doesn’t say how old her characters are, and she treats the male and female leads like they are the same age, but if you do some basic calculations in your head based on the stories, at least one female lead is barely legal and the male lead has to be 40+. And the way she tries to build familial relationships (oh, you’re my brother/sister/the daughter of the woman I bought years ago and now I bought you, too!) Ugh. Let’s just say it’s a hot mess and leave it at that.
Wow, what to say about this series. First of all these books started out like nothing I have ever read before. The trama that Cage and Ella had to endure in the first book put me on edge. Then you find out that the books connect with each other. The second book, Lock’s story, was hard for me to read because I didn’t really like Lock’s character but I could relate with him a little bit. But I also didn’t care for Jules character either, she always ran away and it was annoying. The series got me back in with Syrena and Chase’s story. I loved the fact that Syrena was blind and that she has to use her other senses. Their love was probably my favorite. But then Brandon’s story lost me as well as Hansen’s. Felt like they were rushed and were also confusing since the story jumped from different scenes/times, but I understand that’s what the author was going for. In the end each couple has an issue where their relationships are totally wrong for each other in every reality way but they can’t deny true love. Lots of twists and turns and steamy scenes were good as well.
Savage Men, they say savage is as savage does, but nothing compares to these brooding men claiming the women they crave.
Cage and Ella, Lock and Juliet, Chase and Syrena, Brandon and Dixie, Hanson, and Lillian
Five stories, five couples, ten different characters, bought together under circumstances out of there control, kidnapped and held against their will, stranded on an island without a way home, a blind innocent woman at the mercy of a man’s wicked needs, falling for a girl he could never have and a man seeking recompense for saving his family the only way he knows how.
Each book is filled with strong characters, intriguing storylines and a dark and twisted story that held me captive from the first page of book one until the last page of book five.
Their stories were raw and sensual, as they were powerful and confronting. Even though they all had issues they needed to work through, their love for each other heartbreakingly beautiful. It was fast paced and thrilling, it made my heart race and soar to unfathomable heights. The need to see their growing attraction, the dominance and possessiveness, darkness and depravity, the lust and fear, to own, retaliate, to take control, God it was hot.
These characters will impact you in unusual ways, there will be moments that will make you laugh and cry but have you thinking what the f***, but its these pivotal moments that expose the perplexing tangle of hurt, anger and denial, powerful in themselves, the secrets, lies, deception, manipulation, pain, motives, and truths which becomes all the clearer with those deep revelations.
I was hooked from the very first chapter right up until the last. The different point of views told a telling story of heartbreak, love, and loss, of their past connecting with their present. The author knows how to write, to ensnare her readers to ensure they will come back for more, me I will come back for more.
It holds so much drama, action, mystery, adrenaline seeking suspense, slow burning passion, betrayal, blackmail, dark romance, intrigue, revenge, violence, vengeance, friendship, lust, loyalty, trust. It will hook you, have you turning the pages to find out more, the dark themes and triggers were gut wrenching and soul destroying yet were defining pivotal moments that made these characters all the stronger testing any reader, reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters.
And those s*x scenes in and out of the bedroom including those BDSM elements were f*****g erotic, daring, the explicit language and dirty talk was filthy, downright wicked, sensually dirty, twisted, forbidden, taboo, emotional, wrong, intense, obsessive, daring, explosive, wrong, physical, provocative, possessive, controlling, oh so steamy, deliciously wicked, dirty, hot, beautiful, dark, naughty, raw, rough, powerful, passionate, wet, dominating, and wild, and there happily ever after's couldn’t have been said any better if I had written it myself.
Savage Men is a fantastic collection of five dark and steamy stories. Each book is filled with strong characters, intriguing storylines, and a dark and twisted story that held me captive from the first page of book one until the last page of book five. I loved each of the books but here is a review of one of my favorites. Branded: Branded is a dark, twisted story about two people from two different worlds who start a friendship when they were young but years later they end up enemies on the run. Brandon and Dixie are well developed believable characters with a deep connection that shines through no matter what they go through. This book took me on a roller coaster ride full of drama, angst, suspense, misunderstandings, secrets, and twists and turns that captivated me throughout the story. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this box set.
Savage Men is brilliant. Graham is a creepy flesh-eating parasite who makes your blood curdle in your veins. His evilness seeps through the pages and stains your soul. He is an abomination to the world. All of these men are savages both in mind and body. Their desires are sick, and their actions are beyond the norm. I wish Hanged were longer because that is a story that I would like to know more about. This set is brilliant and worth reading.
I did not finish. I made it 88% of the way through the first story and then skipped and tried the second one and didn't make it past the 3rd chapter. I did not like the fmc's and the story was just not very interesting.
There are five stories in this boxed set. The men are each some sort of villain to the heroine. There are heartaches, steamy scenes and some maybe triggers for some readers. All in all a decent boxed set.

You really need to suspend reality to enjoy these stories. The sex scenes are pretty much the same. Brandon and Dixie's story was the most heart wrenching.
Powerful stories! I totally loved all the books but I think Chase is my fave because he didn't change his whole self once he was with Syrena. He remained himself, unlike Brandon who changed too much by the end. I loved Cage and Ella. It is well-written and definitely believable as variations on that sort of thing do go on every day. What I found harder to believe was Ella not asking Cage how he got out, and that he didn't tell her either, or about his father. If anything Book 2 is even better. Lock has taken himself off to a remote island to get away from people, surviving on what he can take from the jungle. His solitude is shattered when Juliet's chopper crashes and his peaceful life is over. It doesn't take either of them long to realise there is next-level heat between them and more. Book 3 is equally powerful as we learn what happened to Syrena after Graham sold her. Chase is a lot like Dexter (by Jeff Lindsay) in his targetting of victims. He is justice, he is darkness, he is damaged. Life is complex... until it isn't. Though I was glad Chase didn't change too much. In Book 4 Brandon also has the same way of targetting victims as Chase, by getting rid of the trash that slips thru the holes in the justice system but I didn't really like Dixie.

This is a great collection of all the books in this series, fabulous was to get all the books in one place. The stories within the collection follow a group of characters within the same world, the characters are linked in some way but each book is about a individual couples story. There is a element of the storylines being unrealistic, but as with a lot of book's you just need to suspend disbelief.
Caged: I loved the first part of this book, i couldn't out down. I found it very emotional at times. Loved the character of cage, Syrina, and Ella. The second part of the book i found I lost interest a bit. I just didn't find it as engaging as the half. This is my favourite out of the collection
Locked: This is Juliet and Lock's (Cages brother, who is mentioned in the first book) story. I enjoyed this book, and I especially likes the catch up with Cage and Ella when they get to meet Lock and Juliet.
Chased This is Syrina's story, and one I had been looking forward to reading since first meeting her in Caged. She is a fiery and likable character. It was a enjoyable book with a good storyline, new information is learnt regarding Syrina's past.
This box set contains all the Savage Men books: Caged, Locked, Chased, Branded and Hanged. I’m a huge fan of this author and have been reading her for a minute now and this was a great opportunity to reread this series for me. Absolutely worth every minute... and penny.
These books are intense, dark and with action, steam and emotional. The characters are well developed and unique along with the stories, keeping me turning those digital pages. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to devour these in one sitting -but that was due to physical weakness on my part. I needed sleep! Not from lake of will.
This is a great way to introduce yourselves to this series, catch up on missed releases and IMO a great was to add these delightful books to your permanent library. As always, this is a dark series and readers should familiarize themselves with the author’s warning. It would be a shame to see low reviews, due to lack of this understanding. Although, those are *exactly* the kind of reviews that make this reader of the dark romance one-click.

Savage Men Series Box Set - Books 1-5 - Exquisitely Dark and Intense
Savage Men Series - Boxed Set contains the 5 books of this series - 1. Caged 2. Locked 3. Chased 4. Branded 5. Hanged
The first book I read by Clarissa Wild was Caged and I was hooked on her writing at that moment. I devoured the rest of the books in this series as they were published and continued to fall in love with the author's writing and story-telling styles. The books in this series are darker and intense stories which are riveting, extreme, powerful, heartbreaking, will make you ugly cry, suspenseful, violent, romantic at times, have sizzling chemistry and passion and are just plain exquisite. This series is not for everyone as there are a lot of potential triggers but if you are open to these amazing stories then you will be unable to put them down once you start. I loved the books in this series and for me the box set is a RECOMMEND READ!!!
When I started reading this series I realised that I had previously purchased three of the four books but to have an extra one and being able to read them all at once gave me great pleasure to reconnect with them. A really twisted but sexy set of books each one with a different story but keeping to the same alpha male and fiesty female format they were a pleasure to read. Strong characters who garnered my sympathy with their circumstances, especially in the first two books. As always Clarissa's writing is imaginative and strong. Recommended.

Having read 3 books in this series already i went straight to the 2 i haven't read , Syrena and Chase's story in "Chased" and Hanson and Lillian in "Hanged" , both stories are told in dual POV and Clarissa carries on the dark theme , both the storylines are brilliant and the characters are great and well developed , no spoilers from me , having now read all 5 books i would say that Caged is my favourite of them all as it's the 1st one that i read , great books that i would give more than 5*s if i could
