“Only in my dreams do I see you. Fear me not, for I will find you.” ~ GHOST

I’m the Vice President of the Golden Skulls.

I fight my demons on my own terms. No commitment, no strings. No one gets hurt.

The day Reaper’s dad died in my arms he tells me a secret that rocks me to my core.

So, for the last five years, I have stayed away. I needed to find the truth.

Now I’m back to set things right, no matter the consequences.

When the clubs past comes to light, everything changes.

Within the darkness, comes my Angel.

She draws me into her light.

She’s innocent and pure.

Yet I can’t stay away.

A brother betrayed.

For the devil himself has taken what is mine.

No rest for the wicked.

Vengeance is coming.

She is mine.

Mine to protect.

3.5 stars. Gotta say I didn't like this one as much as the first book. The story and plot is solid. I didn't care for Ghost or Ari all that much. Also, Ghost is one wishy-washy guy. So there are contradictions from the last book and this one when it came to Mia, Ghost's first wife who's shot and then dies in this book. From Ghost's POV we learn he was obsessed with Mia and really cared for her. They have a daughter together. But then in this book the author had him saying that no, Mia actually meant nothing to him. Just the mother of his daughter. The whole thing was ridiculously insensitive, and everyone got over her death rather quickly including her own daughter who started calling Ari Momma real quick. I didn't like it. I find myself having trouble liking any of the FMCs here to be honest. You can't get attached to characters in this series because the author will kill them off. A character I liked ended up being evil AF which surprised me. Lot's of secrets being kept. Lot's of cheating and people in the club being related to one another when having no clue. It's one big family feud adding in trafficking, the mob, dirty politicians, a religious satanic cult, and a MC that is trying to clean up what their forefathers fucked up basically. It's highly intense. Too sexually driven for my taste, but still the story intrigues me. You can't say any of these books have a HEA really. Even though this couple here ends up together we don't know what will happen further in the series as this author will bring deceit and drama for everyone. But it does have the grit I look for in a MC series.

One thing particularly that irked me was when Ghost was talking about how much he loved his daughter Becca and wife Ari. His POV has him saying he loves Ari more than his daughter. Not in that direct way, but basically. So in my mind if he had to choose between who died he would most definitely pick Ari over his own blood. He was thinking of how much he couldn't wait for Ari to have his children. So I would definitely see conflict in the future for his poor daughter Becca since apparently from this book he actually didn't like her mother at all.🤷 Becca will most likely be pushed to the back once Ari has his golden children.

Holy carp!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: heroine in peril
Angst: 😱😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a roller coaster ride of twist, turns, and nail biting free falls. Wonderfully complex plot that is definitely on the darker and grittier side. If you're not good with names, you may want to keep some notes though to keep everything straight, lol. The editing is definitely problematic, but not a deal breaker for me 🤷🏻‍♀️.

This book turned out to be very confusing. So many secrets, so many lies. So many questions and so few answers so far. But I didn't like some of the points in this book. I consider them inappropriate in some situations. But overall it was amazing.

Ghost and Ari

Unfortunately there's a lot of errors, the story is still good. So many lies, secrets, and betrayals. I really don't know where to start so I'll exist say Ghost and Ark in a way saved each other. You have to really feel for other characters in this book also.

Great read

I loved this book so much. The story and characters are well thought out and the pace is fantastic.

BUT there are so many grammatical errors that I could not see past them. It made some of the read quite difficult to grasp, which was a shame for a book so engaging.

If I could give more than fives stars I would. Excellent read with so many twists and turns its amazing. You just get it figured out then Boom you rocked to your core. Reading Rebecca's books you have to expect the unexpected.

Ghost is intriguing and Ari it was beautiful reading her come into her own.

Ghost is a standalone only within the romance aspect. This series has a continuing storyline which is very enraging and engaging. There was so much information dropped in the book, my head is still spinning. I am a reader full of rage! This author takes no prisoners and no one and I really mean no one is safe. Good grief….

Amazing book

This is my second rebecca joyce book golden skulls this book is a rollercoaster it has secrets coming to light and each one just adds to the emotional ride that rebecca has you on then there the main characters of this book story has you gripped to what's going to happen Ari and ghost dont have it easy and I hope we get to see more of this couple and reaper and remi in the next book and I hope for the sake of the golden skulls there are no more serects. I recommend this book but ensure you have read reaper first. I hope shadow has a book coming

I dont understand why this series isn't getting more reviews, its a really good, dark edgy biker series. Not some boring mills n boon version of biker life.

Very interesting plot and great characters. Yes there's a bit of insta love. But still its well thought out. These bikers are proper bikers.

Discovering or unearthing that all is not as it seems in their club.

Only thing for me were the sex scenes which there were many n tbh got a bit boring so I skimmed that section. It was unnecessary to have that many scenes and detracted from what is a great book

After reading the first book which had a lot of errors but also potention, I was giving this second book a chance.

Sorry to say that this one I found even worse. There is so much stuff going on that the story flies all over the place.

So many names, random situations and enemies that things are not believable anymore. The grammar is poor and the book needs a good editor.

This series will end here for me

I’m going to have to stop here with this series. There’s just drama drama and more drama. So much drama it isn’t enjoyable and so unrealistic I can’t keep up. It’s like reading in chaotic circles. The MC is the most incompetent I’ve ever read. It’s almost embarrassing. Also the books are full of mistakes and in need of an editor.

Ok - my review here is going to be split up into two parts, and is likely to be replicated over the few books I’ve read in this series so far. (So not my usual style).

Firstly, the story concept is great. Rebecca has really invested in trying to build a complex and dark MC world with lots of shocking and nail-biting content. That I applaud. It’s a little like GOT in the sense that you shouldn’t get attached to any one character- else you’ll be in for disappointment. But you do get attached. There’s so much promise in these pages.

However, secondly - the elephant in the room is the absence of any clear or thorough editing. This really does adversely affect the story. And in its current state - this can’t be overlooked in my rating or review.

I will be willing to reread, and revisit and re-rate my review once the editing issues have been addressed, because this story could be great, however at the moment it’s sub-par.

Confusing family tree emerging

I enjoyed book 1 in this series, but this story has left me confused. It is similar to the first book as Ghost gets his girl, loses her etcetera ( I suspect this is the main thread for each book ), and it is a continuation of the first story with extra action and characters, .

What confused me is the whole plot with all its twists, plus the whole misguided family tree going back two generations. I could not keep in my head who was who.

The approach to the subject of the trauma of the main female character in each book concerned me. The way they immediately bounce back as though nothing had happened seemed unreal and a superficial way of approaching the subject.I

I do like the interaction between characters though, especially the main club members, as the reader gets to know them before presumably reading their story in later books. Editing? Definitely needs it.

Ghost VP of Golden Skulls

Fabulous!!!! twists and turns, kidnapping,A war is on, Chaos in in the midst of Golden skulls.
Ghosts wife is dead, he gets on his bike, not grieving but angry he couldnt save her. In the midst he comes across an angel in the name of Aariaani, who is living in a cult.
When Ghost wakes up again he dosnt remember where he has been he knows hes at the club. But the revelation that the cult that ari is in sents the club into chaos, she is rescued, but that is just where it all starts. So readers enjoy this exciting story and im sure you will be surprised at what you get to read, i surely was. But that is what a great book will do for you. Im so enjoying this series looking forward to more!!

... I love the series so much !!

Small spoiler. Dont go into detail but i do mention it.

I about gave up on finding good MC books, I thought I read every good 1 I could find. Just Imagine my surprise whenever I came across Reapers book, I fell in love with the series and the characters in it. I cannot wait to read bullseye's book. The whole thing with grim tho, did break my heart I really wanted his book Obviously not now that I know who he was But before that is 1 thing I did not see coming. I wish that would have been anyone but grim lol. Now I'm on the bull's eye book and I cannot wait for his Players And savages.

Ari & Ghost

Ghost, book 2 in Golden Skulls MC series. Rebecca Joyce ability to make the characters come alive and create the world the Golden Skulls MC live in is absolutely captivating. The bad guys are everywhere, and the secrets are plenty adding in the twist and turns this story took and at tines the very descriptive violence made me almost want to cover my eyes. Really enjoyed getting to know Ghost better and meeting Ari, the attraction and chemistry between the two where off the charge. Enjoy

No words

What Rebecca Joyce is doing with this series is exceptional. Golden Skulls MC is full of secrets. As one is revealed more pop up. Reaper is learning his father and grandfather were deep into the trafficking of men, women and children something he thought his MC was fighting against.
Aarianni becomes Ghost's true love but secrets about his family are revealed.
This series is mind boggling because when you turn the page you are hoping the characters get peace. MUST READ

Emotional roller coaster!!

This is the second book in this impressive series and this is Ghost and Ari's story.
This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, loyalty, lies, secrets, challenges, heartbreak, betrayal, mystery, human trafficking, danger, suspense, intrigue, tension, violence, revelations, undeniable chemistry, and love which leads to an entertaining, tragic, haunting, twisted, and unpredictable addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented whose work I highly recommend.

HOLY SMOKES! This series so far is intense as heck! The past comes back to haunt Ghost and his brothers in huge, horrible way. The Clubs past is also so intertwined in Ghosts past that it's created one monstrous mess. Ghost and Ari absolutely broke my heart. They go through so much before they find each other and even then the hits just keep coming. As more secrets are revealed lives are completely blown apart. You have to wonder if things will ever be ok for the Golden Skulls again.

.

Ghost made my heart hurt when Mia died, he wanted to help her but needed to shield Rebekah. Meeting Ari flipped his whole life he really was not expecting her, her innocence with the outside world, like she really was born yesterday. Finding herself amongst the big scary bikers didn’t even phase her . Whilst still dark it’s not as pitch black as reaper but a lot happens
