Fell for the Opp 2
Dove Lincoln planned to live her life to the fullest. She had a good job, her man right beside her, and her mother was out of prison. Things were going well… until they weren’t. Her past was starting to cause problems in her present. Even though she put a bullet in her ex, Tika, he was still causing problems from the grave. Her ex’s best friend Red was back and had a secret that could destroy Dove. Clever “CJ” Jones would do anything to protect his woman and his business. People knew and respected his name when they heard it. When the police started connecting the dots to old cases, and CJ’s name was brought up, he had no other choice but to make a deal with the man he vowed to have nothing to do with. The people around him weren’t who he thought they were, and loyalty was being questioned every time he turned around. These two swore they’re in it for the long haul. Now things didn’t look too good. Deals are being made, shots are being fired, and love is being tested. Now both CJ and Dove are both questioning whether they made the right decision.

Little Chaotic
I was a little worried that my girl had lost the plot of her own books but she brought it around. I don’t think it made the most sense but it was still a relatively entertaining story.

I'm go give it 4 stars because although I loved both books, book 2 is missing some info. Now in book 2 it was said that Mister, which I believe is Dove, Falcon, and the other girl's dad, he suppose to hate them girls. Then it was said that he was going to keep coming for them. Well what's good??? Why he never came? Did CJ and his boys get him? Is there a spinoff waiting on me to read it 🤷🏽♀ Oh well, I'm still your new reader author Aubry. I'm your very blunt reader! I will be checking out more of your books. You're damn good. You kept me on edge. I really like that!!!!

I just finished this book, and wow, what a ride! "Fell for the Opp 2: Cj & Dove's Love Story" by Aubry J..
Dove ,Cj, and the Crew were a wild ride! Memphis had me nervous 😓 for a minute there.
Rated 4 on the story because this go around Red and Dove's reaction to her just didn't add up. Quit a bit, didn't really. There are too many loose ends and unanswered questions.
*Dove knew Red was sleeping with her ex yet took her call on some friends tip? It was almost like the shooting game, her amnesia!!
*Falcon been with Mickie since they were kids, but Dove didn't know the brother? Do these people talk to each other?
*Who the hell is Hamel? How was that relevant?
*Whats the freaking deal with Goldie?

Wow
Wow. This had the drama the twist the turns the unexpected. Mannnnn Red oh Red oh Red. Dizzy Dora self. Memphis I was like okay. CJ and Dove are perfect for each other. Falcon is a mess. I get so bad for Benny. Mickey Mouse is gangster. Great story.

I combined my review for both books into one. Cj & Doves love story was a wild one for sure. I absolutely adored Cj from start to finish. He stood on business every time and I loved the way he protected Dove at any costs. Their love hit fast and strong and gave me ride or die vibes. Dove irritated me so bad throughout because I felt she put herself in certain situations that she did not have to be in. She went through so much but I am glad she got her happy ending.
I did enjoy seeing Dove & her sisters bonds throughout the story and also loved their mom.It definitely was a lot going on in these two books but I was fairly entertained. I literally could not stop laughing in book 2. I did feel so bad about Sage though. I felt book 2 was missing some key elements and was left unfinished with the issues with their father. I felt it could have been expanded on more. Red was low downnnn!

Great Read
Dove, Sage, Lily, and Falcon was glad to have their momma back home. Dove and CJ thought the drama surrounding Tika was over but that was the further thing from the truth. CJ had a overzealous dirty cop trying to come after him and they forgot Red was still running around on the loose. It wasn't until what happened to Sage when they realized they had more problems. Benny had no clue the woman he was caught up with had him moving different and looking like a snake. Red should have stayed gone with her son. She was trying to get revenge for Tika who didn't really give a damn about her and was no longer amongst the living. Dove and her family has another enemy lurking but they wasn't even shocked when they found out who it was.

Hmmm, I’m soooo frustrated & confused with this series⁉️..I’ve missed either a chapter (or several), another book, major plot & or character development 🤔🥴‼️”Fell For The Opp 2: CJ & Dove’s Love Story” was a good read initially. Unfortunately, the storyline & or the various characters became ambiguous, complex & convoluted🫤. Foremost, there is some basic information about Dove & Krude that hasn’t been established. …the who, what, when, where & why’s? Thereafter, I still have no clue who the Lincoln & DeCortes family members, where they’re from and what’s their function in the respective communities…their affiliations, rivalries and enemies! …The series would benefit from an edit/update/rewrite 🤷🏾♀️

Baby the way I wanted to unalive Mister, WHEW! That man was a sick sick sick man. How you hate yo own children. Chile, let me tell y’all how this book pissed me off but then fixed my attitude I had with Aubry. Dove out here keeping secrets, Sage was dealt the worst hand, CJ showed up every single time behind Dove and I loved that for her, Benny was close to being unalive and it didn’t bother me not one bit. I loved how her mom gave her advice with no filter. The fact that Red treacherous ways finally came to light and she got what she deserved I knew the ending was gonna be great. Thank you Aubry!!!

I am just falling in love with these men here. Like the personality of Genesis and now the personality of CJ . I do hope Blue find love again .
Now , I did forget about red because I thought trigger handled that but it turns out that it wasn’t red that was at the trap. It was golden that was at the trap this whole entire time. Everything came out in the end. Now I’m excited to read the next part in the series. I just love how they’re all connected and you know everybody’s story that’s happening.. well little bit of everybody’s . Just read definitely recommend.

Satisfying!!
CJ wasn't playing with Dove especially when he found out she's pregnant. I think Dove was trying to give CJ suttle hints about the pregnancy. Red was jealous because Tika didn't pick her. He chose Dove but he thought he would get the bag anyway. Detective Holmes kept feeding CJ little information because he was working for Mister. Bleus was the one to take Red out because she left Juke without a mama, he just returned the favor. I don't think Dove couldn't have taken Red out because once upon a time they were friends and it would haunt her. Dove and CJ are finally getting married

Well alright. This books was good as hell. I'm like I need more so what happened what happened even though it had a pretty good ending. When you are the characters when your reading is always a big plus. I could relate to this story on a few levels and with that I say Keep up the great work. And keep these books coming. And if you reading this review imma tell u grab part 1 if u haven't already and start the journey lol.

A great ending to a great series or is it really the end. Picked up right where the last installment left off. With so much drama, secrets, hatred and jealousy. It was so much suspense, that kept me wondering what's happening next. So loves how everything turned out, but one question still lingering, where's Mister? So I know it's a spin-off is coming, also need more about Memphis. Highly recommend this series. Great job Aubry J.

I found CJ & Dove thanks to the savage anthology and went on the hunt to learn more about any of the characters. This story chronicles how the two met and the opposition they would face. The series was a good one. The story moved quickly. The Lincoln family history is very intriguing. There were editing (developmental & copy)issues, but it was still a good series to read.

CJ and Dove part 2
This was crazy.. alot happened for sure. Mama getting out, someone dying and information spreading. Even though everyone was on edge they stuck together and had each other's back. I am glad Benny didn't turn out to be doing snake ish because I was giving him the side eye for sure. I like the intro to Memphis in a different light because he wasn't all that in the first story. Can't wait to read about the others!!

This was a good series to read wow red is messed up to doing that to dove sister I'm glad they found out it was her and caught everybody who was plotting on them so they can all move on with they life cj wasn't playing he want them babies and good thing he didn't have to go to war with his brother cause that would've been real crazy..good work can't wait to read more

I loved the book! CJ did not play around when it came to Dove! But the endng seemed a little rushed . Like is there going to be a spinoff or something? Because what happened with the dad? With Memphis? Where did Peyton come from? I knew about Xavier! I just feel like I had so many unanswered questions smh! I would really love more! Other than that fantastic job!

Great series
Glad Red and Detective Holmes got theirs. Sad Dove was her friend but she was only a hater. Never said if Mister got his but I am sure Memphis or Falcon gave him the business. He's a sad excuse for a parent and another hater. Great job Aubry will definitely be reading more from you.

GREAT BOOK!!!
Aubry J. you did the darn thing with this book. I absolutely loved this book. It picked right up from part 1. I really hate for this to be the end. I could go for a Falcon and Mickey spin-off or something. This is most definitely a must read. I highly recommend this series..I look forward to reading all of your work..

Great story. I love me some CJ. He is loyal and he really loves Dove. I am so happy that they got rid of Red's jealous and vindictive self. I can't believe what she did to Red. I would love to see what happens with Dove's father though. I can't believe he put a bounty on his children 's head. Great Read!

We meet the infamous brother Memphis and he just ass crazy. I actually read Memphis story before this one so I knew how the series needed, but it was still good to see how he shows up. Red should have had her throat s***. Got off too easily in my opinion. Kc & Dove were a great balance of each other.

Yeah This Is Good!
Once again we get to be apart of Dove and CJ"s world and its one heck of a ride. This couple is thrown into some dangerous situations and hopefully they can come out on top. There are going to be some loose ends tied up and some secrets exposed. Not to give anything away,you are going to need to read this second installment and experience all the excitement.

Amazing
I enjoy this storyline, but it's blowing my mind that the father hated his own kids that much that he wanted to kill everybody. Dove was a good woman, but it said that everybody was plotting on her, but it was good that she found a good man. I actually loved her and chose her.

I was waiting to find out what happen with CJ & Dove and I was t disappointed! Part 2 answered so many of my questions but left me with some new ones! Great story! I look forward to reading more of this authors work.

Great Ending
A great ending to a well written story. With these crazy family of characters that I couldn't get enough of. The crazy drama all because of one evil man. I would love to read about some of the other characters in this book. Especially Benny, Memphis, and Golden.
