This was so slow compared to the first book and full of errors
This second book just felt boring. I had to force myself to finish it. Karen just seems bland at this point.
My major gripe is that this book really needs an editor. I normally ignore grammatical errors and assume autocorrect is at fault for most of them. This had sentences where I had to mentally rewrite them to make them make sense.
Also, there’s so much inconsistency in the characters and plot details. Caine had emerald green eyes and scales in the first book; then in this book, he starts out with turquoise eyes and his scales are silver and turquoise. At some point he switches back to having green eyes and scales.
In another scene, she’s got Minh in front and Alessandro in the back, and Minh grabs both her breasts and then it says Alessandro grabs her other breasts. How many breasts does she have? Is she suddenly the three boobed lady from Total Recall?
Also, she leaves Caine’s apartment with Ben and it specifically highlighted she didn’t put on her bra and panties when getting dressed when Ben shows up. Cue her having sex with Alessandro and Minh during that same trip with Ben and they are removing her bra and panties? You mean the ones she left at the dining room table in Caine’s apartment?
There’s just so many of these inconsistencies in the story that it makes it hard to enjoy it, especially when you combine the constant stream of grammar errors.

not bad
I was surprised with book two. It was really better than first one. Either way author completely doesn’t know how to write the end of the book to keep you hooked , again the end was disappointing, didn’t felt that urge to jump read next book. Should’ve ended book after Karen blacked out when her neck was bitten, and continue in next book. Also after so many bites and beaten how she managed to have wild, hard se exactly? It takes couple days for them to heal , she was bitten by the Damn dragon for goddess sake

I am so happy to say that this book didn't drop the ball. We already know that Karen is still in trouble and that she still needs to find the other 8 guys of her court. To make matters even worse, she got hit with a death curse that suppose to kill her and her court. This was so much fun to read! Love it
Omg it finally came!! (Squeals loudly) okay that was awesome though I feel some small details were missing here and there, but it’s still awesome. I am hoping the the 3rd book won’t take as long as second. I kinda thought the author had given up on the series and with no fan page, I couldn’t ask the author.

Well I was hopeful that this would be better but ultimately I skimmed a lot. The smut was a good portion of book but the story line fizzled out and became mushy. The timeline is sketchy, I don't like that the mfc seemed to have lost her brain back in book one and essentially became that lass who always dies first in a b movie.

The second book in the Zodiac Chronicles was so much better than the first. The first book fell a bit flat, relying on only sex to move the story forward. Where this book had an additional plot of a death spell cast on Karen and that her men are in danger. With 4 more guys joining the court, there are still plenty of steamy scenes.

Cool story
Interesting story. Didn’t read the first book but picked up pretty quick what was going on. Some minor editing issues, but the mystery, storyline and steam factor made up for it. Total instalove but 12 men? Heck yes!

Greatness
Great part two, we get to see her face her enemy for the first time as we as find out tons of secrets. I cannot wait to see how she overcomes the next obstacles. Some minor description discrepancies that made it confusing at first but still a great read

I liked the character growth in this book with the increased intrigue and plot. Karen is down to the wire and more of her past gets revealed. As she sets about to save her family she gets more of her zodiac

It's an interesting story but somethings don't add up.
I think it's an editor issue or what.
The MFC had a name change? From Karen to Kara. I noticed grammar issues throughout. Otherwise I think the plot line has potential.

enjoying this series….
There was a lot more action in this second book… the plot thickens and the spice gets hotter! Can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!
