Breaking my October theme for my newest hyperfixation… This was a tiny book but it packed in a lot of good information. It also comes with freebies online but if you sign up for those your email is going to get spammed…

This book does a fantastic job of teaching you the basics of everything you need to know as a beginner investor in Bitcoin in the shortest amount of time.
It cover everything from the origin story, best ways to invest in it, common pitfalls to avoid, and even goes over frequently asked questions a beginner may have.
The best aspect of it is arguably a double-edged sword because it mentions great investments to make based on time of release. This is extremely useful if you are reading at launch, but becomes increasingly less relevant as time goes on (which is critical in a space that moves as fast as crypto).
Even though I was not a complete beginner in crypto and read this in 2023, I still learned a lot about Bitcoin and blockchain technology within the context of how it fits into the current financial system and stock market. Much of the specific information I mentioned previously still provides useful insights that you can carry forward. If you haven't already, I would recommend reading this as soon as you can before some of the information becomes increasingly outdated.

A no nonsense, simple, to the point examination of the phenomena known as Bitcoin (BTC). An interesting, worthy read, with a little history thrown in, as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
Living up to its title, it truly is the only book you’ll need on the subject. In fact you’ll probably be miles ahead of the average BTC investor, by reading and then simply following its recommendations. It deserves the five stars.
Bitcoin investing is not complicated. It’s a no-brainer, for those with the stomach who can manage the “massive,” sometimes “shocking” volatility. It’s perfect for the serious, committed, long-term investor (ideally, for a minimum 5-10 years), and especially for those willing to build their portfolio through dollar cost averaging.
Even at today’s $38,600 price per coin (it’s been as high as $64,000), those with patience and time will likely see 10x to 25x increases in their investment, certainly in the next 5-10 years.
I highly recommend this book for those inquiring minds, who want to know and are willing to “hold on for dear life” (HODL).

Son consideradas un gran activo para invertir, y cubrirse de las fluctuaciones de la tasa de cambio y las altas tasas de inflación en algunos países. It is well written
5 stars for a book that stays on the subject without meandering or giving questionable references. It is the second book I have read on bitcoin. And both books agree on everything, such as the use of hardware wallets, the most trustworthy exchange platforms etc. This one adds more background information on both bitcoin, and the other players involved. It also gives recommendations on the other investment opportunities which are tied closely to bitcoin. I also thank Goodreads and Amazon for teaming up with the author to let me read this book for free 😁

This is a small book but full of information. Right to the point. They covered almost every point of the bitcoin. However, if you are not based in USA or Europe then the recommendations they gave to buy bitcoins from the website are completely useless because those companies don’t operate in other regions. This point was going to make me give this book 4 star but by the end of this book they gave an email address by mentioning they will reply every query. So, let’s see how it will go and I will update my review after having a quick emails exchange.

Interested in Bitcoin? A must read.
I've read this book twice and recommend it to anyone wanting to learn not only about Bitcoin, but Crypto currencies in general. Additionally, the Author expresses the importance of evaluating companies in the stock market, clearly not just pushing Bitcoin. Of course he touts storing your keys on hardware wallets and offers numerous links to video tutorials. In a fast moving market like Bitcoin and Crypto, one can experience information overload, this book is concise and easy to understand.
I've read this book twice and recommend it to anyone wanting to learn not only about Bitcoin, but Crypto currencies in general. Given the sustained publicity around Bitcoin and the obvious FOMO (fear of missing out) it , I decided to go beyond YouTube videos and side-talks that focus only on the gains, hence I got this book. It did go into details about the subject in a simple to understand manner. It's not a lengthy book and rightly so. In the end, gave me a balanced understanding on the subject enough to decide on investing or not in cryptos.

We are information overloaded.
By the time new comers into Cryptocurrency, due to the opportunists and lack of knowledge and understanding loses can be made.
This book serves as a good basis for new and intermediate people buying and selling any crypto.

Not very in-depth, glosses over ethereal
Sound investment advice. I found out a few things about bitcoin backers, miners, and companies that own substantial amounts that I didn’t know. I learned more about problems with Bitcoin as a currency in Out of the Ether, a book about ethereum.

BTC holding newbie thrilled!
I'm 20yrs old I've been buying btc for the past few months on a hunch. This book confirms the truth and history of bitcoin, and contrast the importance of its growing value perfectly. Easy to understand I am recommending this to my father 10 out of 10!

Good starting point
Very good guide for the beginners. Concise and to the point, the point being that BTC is for long-term investors who do not pay much attention to short term volatility.

Very understandable.
I actually enjoyed this book. I will invest at some stage too. The book tells you the good and bad points. But it has been written by and American s so so.e of it needs convertIng. Still it is a book worth buying.

Things I never knew
Learned a fair bit from this book to be fair. Whether I will invest in it.... Well the jury is out on that. It was worth reading to at least have the knowledge of that time comes.
