Bane When she was shot, I knew what I needed to do. It was months ago and I’m still seeking revenge for Emery. I don’t know why I am in the first place. She’s arrogant, sassy, and always thinks she’s right. Everything about her aggravates me, even the fact she’s doing a job I think only men should. Yet, why the hell do I even give a damn about her? I’m still trying to figure out the answer, but I know I want her, even if I can’t stand her. Watching her blood spill on the ground was unlike any other shooting I’ve witnessed. I’ll find the people responsible for this, one way or another.
Nothing really to write because the book wasn't what I call a book or even a novela....it was more like a chapter in a book. Glad it was in ku because if I had bought it I would have asked for a refund.
Short Read. This tasty morsel gave me a look into what's on the horizon for me and I'm looking forward to more of Bane and Demi's story oh and also all the other Royal Bastards in this MC chapter.

This author is such a tease!! Just giving you enough to get hooked and then Bam!! HEA for now! Bane and Demi I just like in their attitude towards relationships and they butt heads constantly. They go from frenemies to friends with benefits and then it takes Demi getting shot for Bane to pull his head out of his butt. Bane is out for blood, but who will he direct his rage towards?
I really hate giving anything below a 4 star and giving a 3 star is not something you see from me to often. This book (it wasn’t even a book) was very disappointing and I can’t believe it was actually published. These books with the RBMC, these authors put together and it’s been great. Then this short story comes out and we are told the author didn’t have time to write the story. Well then please don’t release the book if it’s not ready. As a reader I’d rather you wait, take your time & give us your best For me I felt we didn’t get to enjoy the characters growing, and there’s no depth into it. I’m not crazy about short stories but I do read them, this one I didn’t enjoy at all. These books are about the club, friendship and working together. This book skimmed over everything. So sorry to give such low rating but I would love to see the author go back and take her time and write a full story.
An action packed quick read with a cliffhanger ending that left me crying out for more. Bane and Devi’s turbulent love story had me completely captivated from start to finish. I’m addicted to this Elizabeth City RBMC chapter and can’t wait to see what will happen next.
So we get six chapters of a story that has been rehashed about 20 times in every other series this author writes and then a note, sorry, I didn't have time to write a longer story. Nope, not okay. Don't release it if you don't have the story. I am so sick of these half a book books with the same story just told a different way. If the author can't finish this story, I totally understand. But don't put out what is essentially a preview. It just looks like a money grab

Wow, and I thought the last one I commented on was bad
Write a review for this book? What book? This was a blurb. Then for you to say you didn't have time? Seriously? Yet you still released it? Can't comment on the story because it really wasn't one. Can't give you stars for effort because you didn't make one. To make it worse, this "book" is a part of the Royal Bastards series. 2 bad Royal Bastards books in a row. That sucks because I love the series. I hope you do right by your new series. I however will have to pass on it
Wow, what was this? I am not sure what I just read. I don’t think I have ever been this disappointed with an EC Land book, if you can call it that. Then there is a teaser for a new club and series, um yeah not cool.
Boy does the title to this MC Romance really hit the storyline on the nose. This is a very quick read that will hold you in it’s grip from start to finish. It’s exciting, action packed and a fantastic prequel to what’s to come from the bikers and the women that make up the Elizabeth City Chapter of the RBMC. Bane and Demi can’t seem to stand one another yet they are drawn to one another, especially behind closed doors. But when Demi is shot, while walking across the club's parking area, Bane loses it and knows he needs three things to happen: Demi to survive, to make her his in every way and to avenge her shooting. But those are not as easy as it sounds, especially when they determine who was responsible for Demi being shot.
Awesome read and this reader can’t wait to see where the next book takes us with this chapter of the RBMC.
I enjoyed this story of Bane and Demi. They had a complicated relationship, but when it came down to the nitty gritty, they found their way to each other. Their fight against their attraction led Demi to believe that Bane didn't feel the same as her, but when he showed her that he chose her, she shied away from him, until tragedy struck at the compound and then all bets were off.
I liked the back and forth between these two. Demi is a woman that is not afraid to stand up for what she wants and she does not hold back when has something to say. They had an immediate attraction, but their stubbornness got the best of them. When tragedy struck they had to detour and now they're looking at a completely new path. I look forward to reading more about this MC and their adventures in the future. It looks to be a great read.
This is actually the second book in the Royal Bastards MC Elizabeth City. Not sure why it is down as #1 because Cyclone of Chaos is the first book. In that book, we met Scorch the President of the club, and Emery.
Spiral into Chaos revolves around characters we met in the first book. Emery's best friend, Demi, and the club VP Bane.
Bane and Demi have had some fun together but he doesn't want an Ol' Lady and he certainly doesn't want Demi. She drives him crazy, she's headstrong and sarcastic. He can't stop thinking about her though. He finally claims her as his, but she doesn't know what to think and puts some distance between them.
Before he really gets a chance to prove his claim on her the club comes under attack and Demi is shot. To give them time and save the whole club they take drastic measures. Now they are in the wind while they regroup. They will come for those who targeted them and Bane will get his vengeance for what they did to Demi.
I really enjoyed Spiral Into Chaos it's book one in the Royal Bastards MC Elizabeth city , I do recommend that you read Cyclone of Chaos it's set before the events of this book and you will be slightly confused if you don't read it before . I would like to know more about these characters in the future and just to read were the story takes off and to meet some of the characters that a mentioned . I'm a huge fan of E.C Land the author knows how to get the readers hooked from the very first to the last page I can't wait to read more of this series and future books . hero 5 heroine 5 secondary characters 5 steam 3
Spiral into Chaos was a fast-paced read. Knocked it out in one sitting! The story is an into the RBMC Elizabeth City chapter. This story introduces us to characters and sets up the future for the group. The whole of it revolves around a very inconsistent relationship between Bane & Demi.
There is sexual tension and some hot BDSM scences. The story builds up to the pinnacle point, then it runs through, and ends. It just ends. I will say that I was hoping for more of an ending after reading the first 90% of the book. I think the writer has good ideas, writes well, and could take this somewhere with the other characters. The ending just fell short on this one.
I love everything that E.C. Land writes, but this was not a book or even a novella. At 53 pages it was more of an introduction to the Royal Bastards MC Elizabeth City series. At the end when an author apologizes for not having enough time to write a longer story, then maybe it should not have been published until it was complete. I do hope to see more of Bane and Demi's story in the future and as a complete story. It may have been a prelude to a new series, but readers deserve more than this when buying a book. **I was gifted "Spiral Into Chaos" via Booksprout, leaving my review based on my reading. 3 stars
Unfortunately I did not reckon much to this as I did Cyclone of Chaos.
This is a very, very short story between Bane, VP of the RBMC, Elizabeth City NC Chapter and Demi, sister of Emery, Ol' Lady of the Prez, Scorch, it is relatively a prelude to a new series and a new MC and pretty much tells of how it begins.
I was not feeling the sense of brotherhood and family that I normally get with E C' books, but on the other hand I am looking forward to the new MC

This book was go short. Kind of confusing cause of a few grammer errors. And it left a lot of story invwritten. Huge cliffhanger with a very rushed storyline. I'm lightweight mad at it. It starts off right where the last book ended. With Demi being shot and all of the book in Banes POV. | can't go to much into It because It will give away the whole book. Make sure you read Scotch's book first. 3, 5 stars This is a review after recieving an ARC of the book, It's my honest review .
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Spiral Into Chaos starts off fast and keeps going. It is a very quick read so I understood going in that this will serve as a quick introduction to this new chapter of Royal B@$tards. That being said, I prefer longer stories that I get to submerse myself into the new world.
Bane's, the VP and Demi's story was enough to peak my interest so I will be back for the next chapter. The story is action packed and kept me turning the page.
This may have been one of the shortest books I have read from EC Land that was not in an antho. This book is straight to the point. We immediately dive into action and we are trying to find out what is going on. The guys from the RBMC Elizabeth Chp make a big move and everyone is on board. The question is will what they do work? However, during this mass chaos, Bane realizes that Demi means more to him than he thought. He needs her just as she does him. Will it be too late for them? Like I said, this is short read but a lot happens. So check it out.
I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. I usually enjoy the RBMC series. They are fast paced, drama and danger filled but also with a couple who work thru a lot to have a chance together. This story fell a little short for me. I found myself wishing for the older style of writing these series. There were just enough things that added up by the end of the fifty pages. I wish I enjoyed it as much as some of the previous RBMC chapters. 3.5

It seems this club is put the ringer at every turn. First Emery and now her sister Demi. Bane and demi have had this dance for a while, but when she is shot more than once at a clubhouse party, Bane will do whatever it takes to take down those responsible and keep her and the club safe. But this book has a cliffhanger. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Spiral Into Chaos is the fast paced story of Demi, the sarcastic, tough as nails woman who knows exactly what buttons to push with Bane, the VP of the Royal Bastards, Elizabeth City, NC Chapter. These two are like oil and water but at the same time they're absolutely perfect for each other. Their story is all kinds of chaotic and so is the trouble that comes for them. Good thing these guys are best at cleaning up messes.
This was a short read but it certainly has wet my appetite for more and it was a great start to a new series by EC Land. It had drama and steamy scenes and I cannot wait to read more of Bane and Demi’s story and getting to know all of the other characters in the Royal Bastards MC. Ms Land you have done it again.
I received an arc copy via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
What a great beginning into Bane and Demi’s story! Sure, it was short but believe me it was packed full of drama, action and steam. Bane and Demi couldn’t stand seeing the other with someone else and when they did get together it was intense. Then we will add in the fact that Demi is shot and that’s just the beginning of their story that has me waiting on pins and needles to get more of Bane and Demi.
I only have really one issue with this story and that it is very short. It is more like a prequel transitioning from RBMC world into a new series, Royal Drifters. This isn't an HEA since it isn't a complete story for Demi and Bane. That being said, it was a good story and it will be a long wait to read the next one.

Well the pages of this book are on fire because these two together create sparks! This storyline is so crazy intense and the HEA with the huge cliffhanger may just kill me! I can’t wait to see what Bane and Demi get up to in the next book! Ugh I don’t know why EC keeps doing this to my heart, I might have a heart attack or a stroke?

So this is a super fast and fun introduction to the latest chapter of the Royal Bas**ds MC and we start with where the last book ended with Demi been shot and go on with how Ben is bent on revenge Looking forward to more of their story I really didn't enjoy the sorry I didn't have time to finish this book message if you wanted to write more defer the book and do it we would understand that life gets in the way sometimes
Spiral into Chaos is the first book in the Royal Bastards MC Elizabeth City city series, a spin-off of the original RBMC series. This is a short "introduction" to this chapter, as the rest of the members stories will be coming in the future. In truth there is not a lot of story but what is there is intense with action, an overpowering attraction and drama. For me this was a good "prequel" but I just wish there was more to it.
This was a great short story. The characters are attracted to each other but to stubborn to admit it. Demi and Bane have similar attitudes about what they want. Neither of them want to admit that it kills them to be seen with other people. They are friends or enemies with benefits. Soon the feelings are coming closer to the the front of their hearts. When Demi is shot and then crap hits the fan fast. Bane is out for any blood he can find so he can find out who was responsible for her being hurt so bad. They finally get their heads out of their butts and admit they love each other and can’t be without the other in their lives.
