Jinx

She was meant to be just another appointment, but when Sienna Blake came to get her scars covered up, the story that came with it changed everything.
I should have been more aware back then, more clued in to what was going on, but I’d been so focused on finding my path in life that I’d messed up, and she’d become a victim because of it.
I’m going to make it up to Sienna and help her get her life back, this time with me in it. And it’s not just because of who hurt her. It’s because there’s something about her that I can’t stop thinking about. She’s fragile but strong. Hurt but complete. And I can’t stay away from her.
Art’s my passion, and skin’s my canvas, but The Broken Eagles are what brings it all together. At least, it was until Sienna came back into my life.
***
Sienna
I don’t go out, and I don’t speak to people—I just focus on my pottery and designs. So why I finally decided to bite the bullet and get a tattoo, I don’t know. Maybe I did it because it was him?
Covering up the past helps, but you can never erase it completely. This I know well. But that one appointment opens up my life in ways I didn’t expect, and now that we’ve met up again, Jinx is determined to give me a future I never imagined I’d have.
Unfortunately, we can’t always erase the demons chasing us, though, and it seems like she isn’t finished trying to ruin my life. But now she wants everything we’ve built together to come tumbling down.
This time, though, I’m not on my own, and I’m stronger than I was before because of him.

Until Jinx is coming to Aurora Rose Reynolds’ Happily Ever Alpha World. If you loved Until July, then add Until Jinx to your TBR list.

I’m a British author who grew up all over the world. My parents were diplomats, so we were posted to all of the corners of the earth and it was a blast. Some wouldn’t seem so awesome if you heard about them, but my parents always made it a fun experience and it molded my brother and I into who we are today.

I live in Wiltshire in the west country of the UK. At random times of the day, I’ll hear a moo from the fields around me, or get a whiff of that…uhhh…’country air’, and I love it! I might not have grown up in the UK, but I’m a British girl to the bone (regardless of the suspicious whiffs coming in from the fields).

I’m a single mother with a son who is nearing his teenage phase. Maybe he’s reached it early? Who knows. But he’s awesome and has a personality and sense of humor that I can only attribute to my family. We’re slightly bonkers, we have a wicked sense of humor and we find the positives in every situation. I’m so proud to be his mum and to watch him grow and mature.

Writing was something that I’d always done. I had a teacher in the third grade who always set us the task of writing a story and making it into a book every weekend. After I left school, I kept this up and wrote as often as I could or just plotted out books. This evolved into me taking the plunge and publishing my first book in 2016 and I’ve been typing ever since.

I’m proud to be an Indie Author, and I absolutely love writing out my crazy Providence characters and the more complex ones in my other series’. It doesn’t matter if it’s romantic comedy or something with more suspense – so long as it has a HEA I’ll do it!

I’ve got so many more planned, so the best is yet to come.

Most of this book was about sienna and her best friend maddie, and not the development relationship between jinx and sienna, which sucks and the result was also the book was boring 60% of the time. Overall ok read.

This one was very meh for me. It's basically about a woman named Sienna who gets a tattoo from a guy, Jordan "Jinx". She had a crush on him in high school and they both become artists. Sienna ends up getting stabbed and cut numerous times by Jinx's crazy high school gf at the time, Hazel, all because Sienna smiled at Jinx.

Years later, Sienna has scars from Hazel's attacks and asks Jinx to cover them up with tattoos. Cute, I suppose. Jinx had no idea Hazel did those things to her. He recognizes Sienna and apologizes for his ex's attacks. He tattoos her and they start dating. But move at a snails pace...or more like a sloth.

The book mainly consists of Sienna being scared of EVERYTHING, apparently having PTSD from a pencil stabbing. Sigh... it kind of got annoying after a while because it took away from every chapter. Can't leave the house, too scared. Can't date, too scared. Can't sleep, too scared...you get the idea. 29 years old and never even been kissed. They finally kiss about 50% into the book and then sleep together shortly after. Even that took forrrrever because he was scared of hurting her or doing the wrong thing and making her run off the whole time. Super irritating at this point and killed the romance. You have a security system, alarms, cameras, dogs - move on already.

I could've done without the run-on pages filled with boring nonsense. I mean, 4 pages with Sienna's friend talking about STD's in the middle of a grocery store (Gross btw), another 4 pages with Sienna, her friend and July Mason talking about going to the washroom together, another 5 pages discussing different lacquers and finishes on pottery. Yawn...

Also, Sienna's BFF started off good having her back and all, but wow she got annoying quickly. Like super inappropriate and rude, big mouth and immature. She had me rolling my eyes a few times and a lot of scenes would've been better without her in them.

By the end, Sienna and Jinx stay together, Hazel makes an appearance and unsuccessfully tries to kill Sienna, and they get married and have kids. The end. No Boom. That was it. Wish this could've been better.

Honestly, I think I may have enjoyed the book so much had it not been for the heroine's best friend. Not only was she obnoxious but also over the top annoying. I might go back to read but maybe but for now I have to DNF the book, it was too much with the bestie in there, the H&H barely got a word in.

These characters had zero chemistry and really didn't have that much time together in the book! I don't even know why they liked each other. 2½ stars

HOLY HELL! Until Jinx is a story that nearly did me in as it really hit me in the feels hard. Little did Jinx realize that a simple appointment was going to shake his world up in all kinds of ways. See, Sienna is ready to cover her past up by having him cover her scars, and it doesn't take him long to figure out that he's part of that past which hit him hard. He decides that he's going to do whatever it takes to make it up to her by helping her get her life back, and now the new journey begins. He's helping her get stronger, and feelings are being caught the more time they spend together, but there's danger lurking in the shadows waiting to show it's ugly face & derail her life again. With heat in spades, angst for days, a lot of humorous moments, an amazing cast of supporting characters, and the suspense waiting in the wings, Until Jinx has become my favorite to date in the Happily Ever Alpha World so don't miss out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Until Jinx by Mary B. Moore is part of the Happily Ever Alpha World Series. This book can be a standalone book. This is the story of Sienna and Jinx. Sienna tries to live a quiet life working on her art but there was something awful that happened that has scared her. When she finally gets the courage to go get a tattoo she feels something toward Jinx. Jinx is fascinated by Sienna from the start. This was a sweet emotional read that I truly enjoyed. I hope to read more from this author and this series.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Sienna had been bullied in high school by 1 girl, who ended up stabbing her with a pencil. After nearly dying her parents moved her away and home schooled her.
11 years later she moved back to her parents house in her home town to try and rebuild her life.
Jordan is a tattoo artist and Sienna comes into his shop to get her scares covered up. Turns out that they went to school together and he was actually dating the girl that stabbed her, but knew nothing about it as it was covered up.
Jordan finds himself falling for Sienna and when he learns that she is still being terrorised by her attacker he vows to protect her.
A brilliantly written story with excellent characters and a happy ending guaranteed.

I'm a huge fan of the Happily Ever Alpha World, and having read a number of books in this world I can say that Until Jinx is probably in my top five books in the series. Mary B Moore was able to write a story with so much emotion, and craziness that I was so sad when it was over and I had to leave this story, I honestly want to read more with Jordan and Sienna.
Sienna Blake has just moved back to her home town after leaving in high school and now that she's back she's ready to confront her the past trauma that made her leave in the first place. And that starts with Sienna getting the scars on her side that almost killed her covered up with some beautiful tattoos. What she wasn't expecting was for her tattoo artist to be Jordan "Jinx" Quinn... The man that was inadvertently the cause of her scars...
Jordan "Jinx" Quinn has had horrible luck, hence the reason why his nickname at the club is Jinx. But he never really thought too much of it until Sienna walked into his tattoo parlor. As he's tattooing her he finds out that the rumor he heard in high school that his then girlfriend had stabbed a girl with a pencil was not only true but Sienna was the victim and the cause was that Sienna had smiled at him during art class. While Jordan didn't know if was true at the time that knowledge to him is now horrifying to him. But beyond his guilt over what happened to Sienna, Jordan can't help but feel attracted to the beautiful, strong woman in front of him. Can Jordan and Sienna move on beyond their shared past so they can have a beautiful future together?

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Sienna Blake and Jordan "Jinx" Quinn. When this book opens we find that Jinx and Blaze have the tattoo shop open and going great as you remember from Until July. Here the new client on the books for Jinx is Sienna. He doesn't realize why that names sounds so familiar until he really gets a look at her. You see this is the girl from both middle school and high school that seemed to get him not his image. The problem with this is that strange connection they seemed to have Sienna's nemeses (Jinx's ex-girlfriend) wanted to make sure that never happened. So while they were still in high school she and her friends cornered Sienna and Hazel (the psycho ex) tried to stab her to death with a pencil. Now years later she has come to Jinx's tattoo shop to get the scars covered up. There is something about that name that just keeps hitting Jinx in the remember section of his brain. When he sees her though it all comes back who she is. When she tells him about the scars there is a part of him the feels guilty and another part that wonders who she is now. Can these two find the HEA or will the unhinged ex make sure that never happens?

Wowza what a story. The strength of these characters will have you looking to see what will happen next and how will they get over it. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

This book is part of the Happily Ever Alpha World. Each book is written by a different author. I have read several books from the world and loved them all. I haven’t read any of B. Moore’s other books but after reading this one I look forward to. This book was a great read and sucked me in right from the start. Sienna has not had an easily life at all. Not because of her home life like most kids growing up. But because of a girl at school. This girl for whatever reason targeted Sienna. Telling didn’t make things better in fact it made things worse and no one believed her. Jinx and Sienna went to school together but didn’t really know each other. Now she is back in town and has come to him to get a cover up tattoo. She wants her scars covered up with a tattoo as part of the moving forward processing she is trying to do. Jinx had no idea how much they shared in common back then. He makes up his mind to be part of her life now. They are both artists and he will use that to get to spend more time with her until she ready to spend time with him for other reasons. I can’t say enough about this book. It has romance, danger, and so much more. I would love for Sienna’s friend Maddie to have her own book and find her man as well. Just an idea B. Moore. Lol. I look forward to the next book in the world.

Until Jinx by Mary B. Moore will grab you by the heartstrings, and tug. The first five pages of the book will hook you, and you won’t want to put it down. You will admire Sienna for the tragic experiences she’s endured yet survives. Part of survival is creating a life of security as she works through the issues that devastated her teen years.
Jordan “Jinx” Quinn finds Sienna Blake captivating from the moment he lays eyes on her. He’s more than disturbed to find out he’s connected to her past. Jinx will win your heart with the way he cares for Sienna, and the gentle way he protects her, and the artistic world she’s created. Jinx is part of the Broken Eagles MC, so if you’re a fan of Aurora Rose Reynold’s Until series you’ll love the appearances of July and Wes.
Maddie and Sienna have been best friends since they were five years old. Maddie shows us how important a good girlfriend is. She has always picked Sienna up when she was down, and gently nudged when needed. Maddie is comic relief and comfort for Sienna. She’s a great character and I hope she gets her own story someday.
Until Jinx is a wonderful story. The love scenes sizzle, Maddie’s hijinks will always leave you smiling, and Sienna’s journey will grip your heart. I highly recommend Until Jinx to all! Two thumbs up and five stars from me.

I was instantly pulled into this book from the very beginning. There was an instant connection with Sienna and Jinx and I completely immersed myself in their journey. There was a poignancy about this book that evoked a range of emotions in me.

Sienna is a strong and courageous woman who is taking control of her own life again. She is ready to leave her past behind and live for her future. Part of her moving on is the tattoo she gets from Jinx, who knows her from the past but never fully knew what Sienna had been through having suffered at the hands of Sienna's tormentor too. However the past refuses to remain in the past and is set to become part of their present.

Jinx is part of a motorcycle club so by claiming Sienna, she is brought into the club family and has more people looking out for her than ever before. Jink is the type of man that Sienna needs as she takes the steps to living again. He has a huge heart, patient, strong, and protective - beautiful inside and out - as well as being a total badass if he needs to be one.

Whilst danger is very close and real, this was a beautiful read in witnessing Sienna blossom and come alive again. I loved everything about this book from the writing, the story, the characters, the chemistry, the tension and the poignancy.

Good read, but strange proposal at the end

I enjoyed reading this book and the author provided several epilogues which are always good. This is a MC genre romance but there is really nothing major with the MC at all. Jinx and Sierra were classmates in high school. However Jinx was dating a girl named Hazel who was jealous of Sierra being in his class. An attack happened to Sierra and she wasn’t able to return to school. Since Sierra was not well to do, her case against her attacker was swept away by money. Sierra has had a difficult time with the attack. Jinx is a gentleman all throughout this story he is careful with The story continues, going well, I am at around 90 plus percent and Jinx and Sierra are in the throes of getting happy and she is pleasuring him with her mouth. I cannot believe the author wrote this, but Jinx says that he is in love with her mouth and will you marry me? I’m like what the heck? What just happened? Who does that? Who proposes when the have their filling up their woman’s throat. I was upset on Carly’s behalf. Jinx had been the perfect guy, so thoughtful and respectful of Sierra and her attack. He waited for Sierra to be ready before they took that next step. This just lost me. It was like Jinx was another character. Luckily the multiple epilogues made up for that scene. Other than that, the book worked. Read On!

this book, wow ...great read. for a person who has dealt with "bullying" in their life i can so sympathize ...breaks my heart. i don't get it. don't understand it. why it is funny, why folks think it is okay. i am thankful for the people who came to my defense, to my aid ...they were there. i was there and i did what i could do that the time at place. i would never say ... but i truly believe that i to this day and a bit of a form of PTSD, have not been told i am or whatnot but i feel it ...those moments in life sadly will never been forgotten or moved away from. yes, i can deal and try to address them within myself and deal with the hurt and pain. stand up for myself and refuse to allow anyone to have that over me. but within myself i am a quiet gentle soul. wishing all the best for anyone ...what or why you can think otherwise for any one it is just plain nuts. leave folks alone and allow them to live their lives. cheer them on. if you can't do that allow them to be left alone. and for gosh sakes if you see something not cool happening, stand up, get someone's help or whatever u can do ...please no matter the age ... "bullying" is not right. uncalled for. NOT COOL. great book. loved it. glad the HEA ending was there.

Mary B. Moore never fails to give me exactly what I want in a book. Add in the Aurora Rose Reynolds world and it's a double whammy for me. I love the connection between Sienna and Jordan "Jinx". They knew each other as teens and there were events that happened that changed the trajectory of Sienna's life full stop. IN the years following, Sienna folded into herself, but you have a firm understand as to why. She has been through so much, and continues to go through it while trying to move past it as well. She reconnects with Jordan during on those moments of moving on, and from there THE BOOM truly occurs and Jordan never looks back. He helps Sienna heal to a point where she wants to be. Jordan is the typical HEAWorld alpha who is loving, possessive, and with a side of dirty that you love. There is mystery surrounds these two as their relationship transpires and their past collides with their future. If you love an intense alpha who would do anything to protect and lift up his woman then this is the book for you!

Oh, Jinx and Sienna, I just love you!

Jinx was living a great life, he had his bar and tattoo shop and was part of a MC, but his world turned upside down when Sienna walked into his tattoo shop to get a tattoo. The minute he saw her, he knew he had to protect her and be with her. Sienna is ready to start living her life. She was the victim of a horrible assault in high school and has suffered from severe anxiety every since. 10 years later she is ready to hide the scars and start living again. Little did she know that Jinx, the boy she used to smile at in high school would be the one to bring her back.

Jinx was just amazing! He knew exactly what Sienna needed at all times. He made sure that she was comfortable before anything else. If she needed something, he was there. He was patient and kind, he didn't care about anything but her. Sienna is insanely strong after everything that she went through. She is ready to leave her life with Jinx and she does not want anything to stop her.

This is a standalone in the Happily Ever Alpha World brought to you by Aurora Rose Reynolds. The story has suspense, secrets, and heartbreak.

This is Sienna and Jinx’s story. If you read Until July, you might remember Jinx. He is a tattoo artist. When Sienna comes into his shop, he does her tattoo, but he also finds out her story. Seems they went to school together, and she was hurt by an old girlfriend of his. He is drawn to her and was back in high school but now he is determined to pursue her. He wants a chance to get to know her. She is broken and struggles daily with the issues from her past. She was bullied and is trying to overcome and live her life. It has taken many baby steps, but she is finally getting her footing. As they develop a relationship not everyone is happy about that. What happens when the danger comes to them? Can he protect her? Can they have a life, or will danger always follow?

I recommend this story.

Huge Mary B. Moore fan so when I saw she was in this round of the HEA world by ARR I was so excited!

At one point in time Jinx was a clueless teenage boy with a nasty teenage girlfriend that scarred another young girl just because she looked at him. But guess what? Jinx had no clue until said young girl now beautiful young woman comes in to get her scars covered.

Sienna is a beautiful soul that suffered way too young at the hands of a psychotic teenage girl that should have been institutionalized. Years later she is a young woman looking to move past her internal and external scars. She goes to one man to help her heal and she has no idea she will become the center of his universe.

We can’t have a book in the HEA world without some drama and this book doesn’t disappoint! Do yourself a favor and get to know both authors if you don’t know much about them. You will love their writing!

Unique and refreshing HEA

This was one of my favorite Happily Ever Alpha books, aside from the originals. Most of the HEA books I’ve read have pretty much been BOOM then the couple develops some enemy we know will strike. (Not that I’m complaining cuz I’ve loved most of the HEA books I’ve read). However, this one was really unique. It was an enemy she’d been fighting most of her life, the only difference now was she has Jinx by her side to help her. It wasn’t some enemy that developed because they got together it was someone she has been fighting forever. I also liked that Jinx went about helping and protecting her in a less caveman way, again not complaining I just found this story to be a nice new take. It was a very refreshing take on the BOOM storyline. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!!

Jinx & Sienna. TRIGGERS: bullying, assault, stalking, abuse of authority, blackmail, PTSD. I absolutely loved this. Sienna has moved back to town and is requesting a tattoo to cover up some scars she received 11 years ago. Jinx is part owner of the tattoo studio and is there to do Sienna's tattoo. He knows her from somewhere but can't place it right away. Until she tells him where the scars came from. The back story is a little frightening but starts when Sienna and Jinx were back in school. Sienna, now an adult and traumatized, doesn't like being around too many people and prefers to stay home. Jinx has plans to bring her back to life slowly and to keep her. This book is sweet, yet extremely hot and has massive doses of alpha male. I loved the connection to the ARR series as well and the more in depth story with the MC. But that plot twist… OMG.. that was crazy! Such a good book.

What can I say about Sienna and Jinx… she needed to be freed from a tormented past she was running from and he had no idea he was connected to it. But the beauty that he puts on her skin to help her look at the jagged edges as freedom instead of pain is just that; beautiful. It was an instant connection between 2 artists and they fed off of each other’s energy. Nothing can stand in between them even with the evil lurking in the shadows threatening to ruin what they built so beautifully together. Between their 2 fur babies, her hilarious best friend Maddie (or as she likes to say bloom from another womb) LOL and his brother’s from his MC having their backs…this story is about seeing beauty in the middle of a storm raging within.

This is a great addition to this amazing series and is Jinx and Sienna’s story. Jinx is a tattoo artist and belongs to an MC, while Sienna is an artist who is haunted by demons. Sienna decides to get a tattoo to cover the scars she has, and Jinx once he sees what he is working on, decides that he if going to make sure that she gets her life back. There is an instant connection between these two and with evil lurking in the shadows, they have challenges to overcome along the way. This is a well written story which is filled with emotions, friendships, witty banter. Humor, suspense, danger, and love, which leads to a steamy addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Mary B. Moore is a brand new to me author but she's been in my radar for a minute now. And y'all what a way to be introduced to her by a book in one of my favorite worlds, the BOOM!.

Until Jinx was all kinds of good y'all, with a hero that will have you swooning, right from the start and a heroine you'll be rooting for. Jinx and Sienna were the perfect match in every single way and the way that Jinx was with our girl.. all the heart eyes. 😍😍😍

I love this world and the series that it originated from. Mary delivered a romance that hooked me early on and was packed to the brims full of heat, heart, and allllll of the feels y'all.

I totally can recommend this book.

I loved this one so much!! Until Jinx is such a fantastic addition to the Happily Ever Alpha World. It pulled on my heartstrings…

Wanting to put her painful past behind her, Sienna decides to have a beautiful tattoo replace her physical and mental scars. When Jinx first meets Sienna, he can’t help but feel like he knows her and when she finally opens up, he’s hit with the biggest shock of his life.

I loved Jinx! He had me swooning left and right. He listened to Sienna and took things at her speed. Sienna is a survivor and I loved her fighting spirit. Her BFF Maddie is hilarious and their banter had me rolling.

If you love the Happily Ever Alpha world then Until Jinx is one you won’t want to miss.

An enjoyable story and really good read, especially after reading Blaze's story.

I was fully invested in all of the characters, especially Maddie, and her no filtered comments. Having a best friend like Maddie was a savior in Sienna's life as well as much needed comic relief. And once Sienna's parents, and grandparents were introduced, was there any wonder how their lives hadn't intermingled sooner. Between Jinx's and Sienna's past, there was so much irony in this story. And here I thought it started with a simple tattoo.

If you are seeking romance, with a healthy amount of suspense, sexiness, and definitely a HEA, this is the story for you. By the end of the story, the author has laid out a full story, and answers all of your questions. No regrets.

A beautiful emotional yet uplifting story. Our captivating Sienna, went through such a traumatic event as a young adult that it has shaped her future ever since, while the world went on around her, Sienna has kept herself closed off as much as possible. Mary B. Moore so wonderfully articulate Sieena's struggles that it was a joy to watch as she finally gets to blossom under the watchful eye of Jink, the man who little does he know was part of the traumatic event of her past.

I hope that I can catch up with Ms Moore outside of the Alpha World as it appears there were some secondary characters that I hope get their story.

Oh wow, my heart was just breaking for poor Sienna. What a devasting thing to go through. And seriously wasn’t Jinx just the sweetest. He was so patient with her and tried to put her at ease and did everything on her time. The chemistry between these two was sweet and you could feel how they were growing in their friendship to something so much more. And even though Jinx was attracted to Sienna he never rushed her, I loved that. I also loved how protective he was with her. Totally alpha male in what we have come to expect from a BOOM Romance 😊 Loved the story and loved the characters.

This was such a good book. The emotion just pours off the characters. It's truly beautiful story. My heart just bled for Sienna. It made my heart so happy to see how much she grows and does in this one. Jinx and his brotherhood create another beautiful support system and friendships. Trust me Jinx is going to make you swoon all over the place. This book is going to be hard to put down because these characters are going to pull you right in. This book has serious moments, but it also has plenty of humor. I love Sienna and Maddie's friendship. I so want to be friends with them. This is a must read!!!

Until Jinx had me captivated right from the very first page. A storyline that had emotion, drama, angst and so much witty banter that you will have a sore face from all the smiling. Jinx and Sienna’s story was poignant, inspirational and heartfelt. The story along with the characters intertwined perfectly with the Until series and had you feeling the connection instantly. A story that will steal your heart and characters that will own a little piece of your soul. It has shades of light and dark to give you the perfect balance in what could only be described as perfect romance story. One of my favourite stories and characters from Happily Ever Alpha World.
