Italian-American Gianna Bellini has come to Venice to restore and complete a fresco mural for Francesca Marcello whom she met in the States. Part of the job description is to restore that painting to its original splendor and then to complete the third section which had not been completed.

Upon arrival to Venice, Gianna has an unsettling experience as she walks the streets and feels like this isn’t her first time in Venice. After a gondola tour of the city provided by her sponsor, Gianna has an e

Moonlit Kiss: A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley. I have never read a book from Ms Amy that I have not liked. Amy knows what genre works for her and she does it really well. This romance suspense story takes us through the cobblestone pathways, water canals and centuries old buildings and art of beautiful Venice. I have visited Italy, so it was so easy to envision all that Amy’s rich narrative provided. There is mystery and suspense which just adds another dimension to ...more

For me, this was the most beautiful book I’ve read in quite awhile. This book was beautiful as it brought to light just what makes Italy a great country. The scenes bring you closer to being in Italy itself as the author’s words transcend you there through the pages. The story wrapped around the scenery draws you in. This is one of the best books in a long time: Pick up your copy today!

Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley a fantastic five-star read. This author has a way of sweeping you up into the story and washing you away with the story. This is a beautiful and descriptive story; it will take you away with it. It is part of the Venice Romance, and they can be read as stand-alone stories. Gianna and Sergio will envelop you in to the story, and I don’t want to tell you what the story is as I wont do it justice as the twists in this story will just keep you on your toes.

Honesty, this book was so amazing from beginning to end, I pretty much read it thru a 24 hour day, I just kept wanting more and more and to basically be in Venice! The author truly has a natural talent not only for an amazing story and novel but the descriptions they use to describe the art and landscapes of Venice is truly what captured my heart and my mind from the very start.

I love romance stories and anything of the sort. This novel was my first time reading by this amazing author. And this

Moonlit Kiss: A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley

3 out of 5 stars

Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley is a timeless tale of departed lovers searching for another. The setting for this story is the hauntingly, romantic floating city of Venice, which is as much a character in the story as Gianna and Sergio. Venice’s long history is full of memories and restless souls searching for what they lost.

I found myself unable to put this book down as I was hooked from page one by the romantic and suspenseful storyline. Set in Italy the author really bought the cobbled streets and waterways of Venice to life with her detailed and descriptive narrative, and I felt as though I was there with the main characters. Artist and conservator Gianna Bellini leaves on the first flight to Italy when she gets her dream job in Venice, to restore and complete a century old fresco painting. She develops a relati ...more

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley is definitely my favourite of the series, so far. I was drawn into the story from the very beginning and was so absorbed by it that I couldn’t put it down, reading it from beginning to end in one sitting.
It is a fantastic romantic suspense, with mystery, sizzle, dramatic developments, intriguing characters, and enticing storyline. I loved the whole mysterious, otherworldly vibe that Ms. McKinley infused into her

This is such a beautiful book to read. The author does an amazing job of building the scene so you feel like you are actually in Venice and experiencing all the things our leading lady Gianna is seeing and feeling.
This is a romance but I love how this romance comes across as a love that was created years before. You are taken on a breath taking ride which leaves you questioning things you thought and falling in love with the people who lived in Venice in the past as well as the present.

I have read a few of Ms. McKinley and I am hooked. The characters are amazing and well written. I loved the way these characters played off each other. Again Ms. McKinley did it again with her description of Italy and the cobble stones.

Moonlit Kiss by Amy McKinley was a very good read with a good storyline and good characters. I have read other books by this author that I loved but, didn’t have the same reaction to this one. However, I did enjoy the book but, it took me a few chapters to get into it and it was a slow burn for me. I guess that’s a good thing because as your reading, you think eh…it’s ok but then it gets good lol

Moonlit Kiss is unlike anything I have read by Amy McKinley. It is not at all what I expected, but I loved it none the less. It is part of the Moonlit Destinations Series, but is a stand alone book. Like all the other McKinley books I have read, it is a romantic story with a twist of mystery suspense. What sets this book apart from the others, is the twist of history and ghosts. It tells the story of Gianna and Sergio meeting and falling in love with Venice. However, it is intertwined with the p ...more

Moonlit Kiss : A Venice Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley

This isn't the first book I've read by McKinley. Moonlit Kiss is a page-turner. It had me hooked from the beginning.

Gianna is going to Venice to restore a painting. When she arrives she meets the ghost of the artist who painted the mural she's restoring. She soon learns the history behind the mural. The quote I chose for Gianna is: “I did. She’s doing much better, especially since Francesca moved in. I think the

My gosh, Amy McKinley is a descriptive genius as Moonlit Kiss was breathtakingly beautiful. The way she transported me to Venice was intense & amazing because I swear I felt the ambiance of it all in my room, and that alone was utterly perfect. However, you add in the romance of Gianna & Sergio to the mix, and all of a sudden it was leveled up perfection as their story fit the backdrop for real. I'm telling you there's so much goodness to this story as we get a bonus of a mystery that kept me on ...more
