This was a nice story. I like that it was connected to the last Elves book. Georgie is just trying to do his job but gets so much more with Remy. They were able to take down the demon and it all seemed resolved rather quickly. Much of this book was sad to me as Georgie and Remy were both thinking of how much they cared about the other but didn't think it was fully mutual.

I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review
Well... This was certainly .. something..

I am afraid I did not enjoy this book. For such a short book it was way too packed full with action, information and so many subplots it was making me dizzy.

The first thing that bothered me (this one is purely on me) is the mention of pandemic. I am frankly sick and tired of hearing about it. If I wanted to read about that, I would read the news. So I was not impressed with how much it was discussed and attributed to the problems in the story, but I cou

If you’re not seriously into light, fluffy and adorable, studiously avoid Sam E. Kraemer’s Georgie’s Eggcellent Adventure. Like the title suggests, this tale bends reality to suit its needs. As an adult version of a children’s story book, and part of the Elves After Dawn series, which is written by different authors, this standalone would work beautifully as a graphic novel.

Georgie Peppermint, a generally snarky North Pole elf, is headed towards downright grouchy when his crush, Jingle Bells, fa

I think it is kinda cool that now we have a set of stories about Easter elves. I mean, why not? I had trouble getting into this book however. There was mention of the current pandemic which didn’t bother me but the way it was brought in as magical warfare between mythical beings/gods was a bit much, as was the sudden magic of one of the main characters. It just felt like a stretch. Now I am a fan of fantasy and have no problem with the genre. It is one of my favorites, in fact. But this book fel ...more

I'd give this a solid 3 stars - it was fairly enjoyable. I think there probably aren't a lot of Easter-related stories out there and this is pretty unique beyond that. The characters are very, very likeable and strangely relatable, considering they're not all entirely human. Georgie's delightfully snarky, but good at heart. Remy is basically perfect.
My main criticism is that I would've liked to have seen more of their getting to know each other at the start. I felt like a lot of their first days

Georgie Peppermint had his heart crushed by Jingle when he found his HEA with a human and the human's kid. He gets reassigned by Nic to the South Pacific to help the Easter Bunny aka Peter Cottontail. Georgie runs into Remy who is a human that believes Peter Cottontail is a human and not a rabbit. There's mention of a pandemic that's wreaking havoc in the human world and Remy has to figure out how to increase egg production, manage his hens, and fight his attraction to Georgie the eccentric tour ...more

This was a cute follow on story from My Jingle Bell Heart (though it could easily be read as a stand-alone).

The premise was a sweet one but I did find that there were quite a few gaps (characters changed their behaviour with little basis/reason, we skipped ahead weeks at a time when much of the relationship would be developing, things suddenly happened with very little explanation). The story itself was still a good one but it left the book as a whole a little lacking. Georgie and Remy were swe

A cute story with elves, easterbunnies, a demi-god and a bad guy.
This is my first book from this author.
I struggled to connect with Remy and Georgie, despite the story beeing told in dual POV's. They are both sweet men, but the changes (or inconsistencies) in their personalities are so sudden I struggled to follow and got a bit confused at times. It felt to me like the story was originally longer but has gone through some rough cuts..
I usually like books like this, sweet with a twist on holida

This book is very light and fluffy and overall very sweet. There’s a little mystery to it as well. I enjoyed the world it takes place in and Georgie and Remy made a great MC couple and the side characters were great too. I just didn’t really connect to this book and I can’t really put my finger on why. It had a lot going fir it and I d joyed it I just didn’t love it like I wanted too.

If you enjoy magical elements and light and fluffy stories you should still give this book a chance.

This novella was definitely unique, though it felt like the story couldn't make a decision about the themes and magics to include and became a scrambled mess instead. Santa, elves, the North Pole, bunnies, a death god, ghosts, mythicals, a demi-god, special hens, sacrifices - more and more things kept getting added. There was a certain cuteness and charm to Remy and Georgie's Easter story, but in the end I don't think this had enough words to tell the intended story with all the extra flourishes ...more

This was a fun, fast paced Easter story. Georgie Peppermint, an elf working for Santa, gets sent to Easter Island to help the Easter Bunny on a special assignment. He meets Remy, the local supplier of the eggs needed for Easter. This year is tough though since the death of Remy's wife, so there may not be enough eggs. Georgie and Remy meeting for the first time seems to have set off a series of events that lead to a crazy adventure with plenty of little twists and turns. There was plenty of hear ...more

If you read the blurb and smiled at the clever idea of elves helping the Easter bunny and Easter Island, you'll enjoy this book. I was not thrilled with the idea of the current pandemic appearing in my romances - it still seems too fresh and unfinished but it was ok for me here as the story involved the need for love and happiness at this time. Sit back, relax and just go with the flow and this is a light, enjoyable read. ...more

This was Ok. I like Jingle story a little better than Georgie. I did struggle a bit to finish. I guess I was looking for more romance between Georgie and Remy. What I got was snarky talking animals, island legends, spirits, some magic and a little romance thrown in 3/4 the way through the book. There were some cute and sweet moments I enjoyed but I still wanted more. I received an ARC and I'm glad I was given the chance to give it a try. I was anticipating more but what I got lacked. ...more

4.5 stars. If you are in the mood for something sweet and light on the angst with a bit of holiday flair, this is it. I liked that Georgie evolves from a surly, grump into a man who thinks of others first. Remy does some evolving of his own. I loved the little twist about Juliet! There are quite a few revelations sprinkled through the story. I grabbing Robin Cottontail’s book as soon as I can.

I loved that this was not your typical "theme" and I was intrigued! This was an adorable, sweet, and a very quick read. I loved the characters. There were a few things that didn't fit for me but there wasn't enough for me to not recommend this book. I wish it was longer but I think that's a great thing. I read an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased review! ...more

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. I loved how it brought together the mystical beings of Santa etc. and the Polynesian gods from Easter Island, and how it turned the idea of Santa, the Easter Bunny and elves from what we all believe into something different. Highly enjoyed it.

So entertaining

A North pole elf saving Easter! This is a very entertaining read, with some great characters, from felines, rabbits, demi-gods, elves and some very opinionated hens. Engaging from the start, this is an enjoyable read.

This had a good premise but it fell a little short for me personally. I just couldn’t connect with Remy and Georgie. I really liked how it was a follow up from My Jingle Bell Heart! I’m voluntarily reviewing from an advanced copy I received.

I am so happy for this!!

I loved Jingle’s story and I’m so glad we got Georgie’s. I knew there were things we needed to know. Wow he certainly hit the jackpot with love here. And the author’s take on Peter Cottontail was fabulous. I hope we get Robin’s story.
