About the author

I'm the author of many novels, including my debut, SEE JANE DATE (also available in cute TV movie form to stream). I write emotional, heartfelt romance novels for Harlequin Special Edition. Colt Dawson is co-CEO of Godfrey and Dawson, a position inherited from his late father when Colt was 21. And he hates it. An now, he is a widower with a four-month-old son, and has no clue on how to take care of baby Ryder. Then, one day he comes upon a letter in his wife's desk that upends his world. Ava Guthrie is trying to run the apalca ranch she inherited from her aunt. When Colt comes to her asking about the letter, she bargains with him to help with the ranch for the information. What she doesn't realize at first, is that helping on the ranch fulfills Colt's deepest dream. But can the driven CEO with no life make a career and heart change?

Great romance

I loved this book by Melissa Senate. Colt was a workaholic until his wife died. He has to learn how to take care of his 4 month son afterwards. He found out that his son wasn't his and went to confront his wife's best friend Ava. Available inherited her aunts alpaca farm and needed help. She agreed to help Colt learn to be a father if he would help her on the farm. They start falling for each other. Will Colt let the betrayal of his wife and the deathbed promise to his dad effect his future?

I love ❤️ the cover of this book 📕. I liked this book's storyline. This book's storyline was sad 😔. I liked Ava's character. I liked Colt's character. I loved ❤️ Ryder, so adorable. I liked the ending.
