About the author

Kati Wilde is a tight-lipped, loose-hipped woman of indeterminate age and low breeding. Born into a very large family, she now has a very small family (no laws were broken in this transition), and she writes romantic fiction to assuage her darker urge to write Transformers erotica. She lives in Oregon, so most of you are safely far enough away, and has two old cats.

Kati writes the Hellfire Riders MC romance series and will be publishing her first New Adult novel, Going Nowhere Fast, with Berkley later this year.



About Our Series:

The Motorcycle Clubs series is for romance readers who want all the heat and emotion, but who don’t have all of the time. At this time, we are only publishing novellas — our intention is to provide readers with short (yet satisfying) MC romances. Sometimes we might continue one couple’s story over several novellas, but each individual novella will have a satisfying romantic resolution. Because they are short, we focus the stories on the eroticism and romance, and will be building the MC worlds as each series progresses.

Absolutely fantastic! I wanted this to be much longer but it’s definitely an amazing novella! It reminded me so much of The Shadows between us which is one of my favorite book of 2021! I love morally grey characters!

The communication between Echo and Bane? Incredible, the chemistry was there, the plot complex and well written, very great steamy scenes and yeah, it was exhilarating!

"Evil Twin" is the story of Echo and Bane.

The hero is the cursed evil twin to his brother, the king and decides to seduce the latter's bride. However, things go wrong as his plans get intertwined with some else's. There a lot of supernatural elements, family drama, seduction before they find their HEA.

All I can say is there was too much twinning in this book for me, to the point where it got confusing.

This book was such a delightful surprise. This is one of those novellas that proves that you can develop chemistry and tell a satisfying story within very few pages. I was invested in this romance from the very beginning and I fell for every single little twist there was. And that carriage scene????

Kati Wilde does it again. Makes me fall in love with a novella.

I loved this one. The romance was sweet with a bit of push and pull. It was also spicy...wow... and so many twists and turns! I was glued to this story and inhaled every bit of it. It was definitely my favorite of the series.

I loved the premise of this book, but the execution left something to be desired. I really loved Bane’s scheming at the beginning, but I wasn’t a fan of the instalove. He we was so smitten with Echo that he didn’t mind that she foiled his plans of stealing a kingdom. That didn’t make much sense to me. I hated Echo’s insecurity and cowardice about love. A great opportunity for some good angst was missed. I didn’t feel a ton of chemistry between the MC’s even though the sex scenes were hot. Overall, the world building was fun and the premise was good. I didn’t like all of the twinning nor the heroine.

Eigentlich wäre Bane der bessere König, aber er wurde vier Minuten nach seinem nichtsnutzigen Bruder geboren. Auch seine militärischen Erfolge können daran nichts rütteln. Also will er sich einfach selbst ein Königreich beschaffen. Dazu muss er die unschuldige Braut seines Bruders verführen. Doch die hat eigene Pläne.

- Für das Format einer Novelle liefert Evil Twin ein überraschend gutes Maß an World-Building (Verstrickungen der drei Königreiche, magische Bedrohung)
- Die verschiedenen Manipulationen der Hauptfiguren haben mich großartig unterhalten, vor allem am Anfang gibt’s direkt einen richtig guten Twist.
- Heiß!

This was one HOT fantasy erotic novella.

We have:
-An amazingly strong and witty female lead
-An equally powerful, genuinely good guy warrior
-Twins on both sides
-Both virgins
- A CRAZY erotic carriage scene (how did you even come up with that Kati??!!
-Scary-ass monsters
-HEA
-Humor and fabulous banter

There are some really great lines in this one, but the conversation about 'kind and nice' was my favorite.

Who knew evil was so good?

I adore how smartly done this story is. The “evil” twin and General of Gocea’s army, concocts a plan to overthrow his twin, the king. Toss in evil surprises, dark magic, zombies, and true love that lifts you up, and you have one heck of an adventure.

This was delicious from beginning to end. I loved the plot twist with all the evil twins. Because what really makes them evil? Haha. The way Bane was so good. I knew from the first page he couldn’t be evil and he proved it over and over again. And the way he loved her!

She threw him a glare when he laughed. “None of my schemes have worked like they should.” Bane had no complaints. “I’ve enjoyed the outcome of them all.”

And what an outcome!!! They were meant for each other.

This was short and sweet and everything I didn’t know I needed. It was a peer felt little read.

The hero thinks he is having sex with the princess so he can steal his twin brother's kingdom. The hero is the one who does all the work of keeping the kingdom running and he leads the military.

It turns out the princess also has a twin sister. He is having sex with the princess' twin sister. Her own family thinks she is evil because she was born when a wolf howled, etc.

The princess' twin sister wanted to escape her family because they treat her very badly.

So the hero insists he will marry the evil twin sister. He's the evil twin and so is she.

They are given an empty kingdom full of the monsters they just got done fighting in the war. They decide to rule well.

Hero is so funny because he wants the evil twin woman to fall in love with him. But they are already married. So he does nice things for her and carries her a lot of the time to show her how strong he is.

At the end, you find out his queen killed his brother. She sent him a birthday present of wine. It was drugged. So the current king, the hero's twin, falls into a pit full of poo and dies. Now she and the hero are rulers of that kingdom (since twin had no wife or kids). Hero always hoped the twin would die so he could be king.

Hero's brother was a bad person so this is a good thing.

And the queen is pregnant with twins.

This was such a cute and fun read. I wasn’t too keen on the idea of the hero tricking the heroine but alas there were evil twins everywhere and so nothing went how I expected. The romance is quick but the story is also fun and unique. The characters both dupe one another which only sets off their romance on even ground. I wish we got to know more about the world they are in. The setting and some of the kingdom drama was a tease in such a short book. 😜 I especially enjoyed the bit about the curse & beasts. I really liked how the heroine was always scheming, but it was even more hilarious when she got caught up in her own tricks. Very good read with two virginal leads who want what’s best for their kingdoms and find love when they least expect it.

I loved this!!

Bane is wanting to spoil his twin brother’s plan of being the king to two lands. He makes this elaborate plan to seduce the princess his twin is destined to marry, so he can claim her kingdom. But things don’t go 100% according to plan.

This was so amazing! I loved the worshiping hero, kick-butt heroine, and the plot twist!! I loved this Kati Wilde!

Its not a full 5 stars though because I just felt like some things happened too quickly. Especially with the antagonist towards the end.
