This volume collects the entire Wynonna Earp comics from the start of the TV show. Wynonna is now modelled after Melanie Scrofano and we have TV favourites Doc Holliday and Agent Dolls in the cast, as well as some of the characters from the previous comics (Smitty and Valdez). This series also introduces Waverly (who was always my favourite character) to the mix.

Still very different to the TV show, this has more of the gung-ho, badge-waving, gun-toting feel of the original comics. There's different origin stories for both Earp sisters and no mention of Dolls being anything out of the ordinary (in fact, Dolls doesn't get an awful lot to do in this series, with Smitty and Valdez, between them, taking his mentor-figure role).

It was a fun run of comics though, even if some of the storylines didn't actually seem to go anywhere (the Immortalis Consortium one, for example). It was just nice to catch up with the characters that I enjoyed hanging out with for four years (and I couldn't help but read Doc's dialogue in his very distinctive TV show accent).

I would like to preface this review by saying that I am in love with the TV Series.
The drawings are superb; they captured the energy of each character. The stories are funny and weird (which is expected), though a couple of them seemed to be drawn out. My 1-star deduction is sole because I was expecting to read more of Waverly but instead I get a lot of Valdez. It's a good read on and off the road.

SO good! If you're a fan of the show this will answer a couple of questions you may have had lingering (even though we had a wonderful ending if you ask me). I hope the comic continues so we can follow these great characters in more crazy adventures.

The drawing and the story telling is wonderful, my only critics would be that it doesnt include the comics done befor the show started, wish it had. But if you are a fan of the show it is a great read that for sure.

Very silly, but who said cowboy werewolf killers had to be serious? Good on its own but a great read for those who are fans of the programme.

Second time reading the stories, first time from this compilation, and I enjoyed them all the same. I love the character of Wynonna and I hope that we get more of her soon.

There were a lot of grand, climactic speeches without emotional set-up to support them. Also, the artwork is a bit flat and a lot of the secondary characters are hard to tell apart.
