There is no place for immortal love in the world of the damned.
Vampires. Witches. Sirens and Hellcasters. Can one queen rule them all? Who will survive when the final war is over?
Riona Dark survived being sold at the auction, living with two vampire princes, and taking the magic of the island as her own. But losing Maddox, the mad prince, and the vampire who owns her heart, is too much. The sirens offer Riona a way to erase her emotions, to escape the empty pit inside her chest and the island full of vampires looking to her as their queen.
But what if it’s not the end for Maddox? Can they save each other before it’s too late?
Warning: This book is a dark romance and it contains themes not for the faint of heart. This is the final book of the trilogy.
G. Bailey is a USA Today bestselling author of books that are filled with everything from dragons to pirates. Plus, fantasy worlds and breath-taking adventures. Oh, and some swoon-worthy men that no girl could forget. G. Bailey is from the very rainy U.K. where she lives with her husband, two children and three cheeky dogs.
I actually looked at the cover to be sure what I was reading. It didn't even seem like a finished book/story. Basically it seemed like it was an outline for what could have been a great ending. No feeling whatsoever was in this book. Because it was the last in the series I just got the facts of how the characters ended up not the journey. Big disappointment.
after book 2 i was reluctant to read this and rightfully so LOL it was another average book, predictable and at times slightly unbearable (i am riona’s greatest hater)
the scene with bane and evacuating the city was the only thing that saved this book from being an absolute write off at least that was kinda interesting…
also if riona and maddox don’t stop having sex for One Second i will go insane like keep it in your pants for 5 minutes please 😭😭
Loved the entire story. Highly recommend the series
It takes some time to get use to overlooking grammatical errors, punctuations, and odd words that don't mix. Nevertheless, when you've been reading books for as many years as I have your brain does the job of overlooking those issues and allows you to see the real story.
It's such a beautifully dark twisted story. Some parts were rushed and I felt should've been elaborated on, especially since they were a huge part of the story. For example, the curse. (You will see what I mean when you read it.) I expected more. Other things, were anticlimactic, for example, the royal games. I just expected more. Austin aside, because geesh. The ending albeit rushed, was a good one. Definitely will read more from this author. Highly recommend this series. The villainous hero and his heroic dark lover. That's the best I can describe the couple. The book is realistic even with the supernatural activity.
Here it is, the final frustrating conclusion to this dull tale, where every loose end gets wrapped up perfectly, even the most ridiculously huge problems in the vampire island… like the human slave trade being immediately abolished with no repercussions whilst the big curse we’ve been panicking about for 2 books gets broken offscreen. A dead grandmother gives unhelpful clues in visions three. The FMC gives herself up to the villain’s clutches immediately in the stupidest infiltration plan ever. The FMC’s twin is treated worse than a punching bag to make her compliant—which she still does not do, meaning he’s being tortured unimaginably while she’s busy hanging out with her boo and whining about having to wear dresses the villain picked out for her. Everyone ends up paired off and piled up with babies by the end. Bleh.
Omg... this has been a highly anticipated book for me since I'd read the previous books, and let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed!! This was absolutely fantastic!!! Wow... just so much happened in this book!
Riona starts the book in a dark place. She thinks that Maddox has been lost to her and nearly gives away her memories and feelings to the sirens until she is saved by Reign and Katy who tells her he's still alive. Then it becomes a race to find Maddox, her brother and mother. This book was so amazing and a fabulous way to end the series!
I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.
What a wonderful ending to a fantastic series! I do wish I had reread the previous books to refresh myself of all of the details, since book 2 was out 6 months ago, but I caught on quickly and fell right back into this wonderful world.
Maddox and Riona are still just as wonderful as ever and I love how much they both have grown from when we met them in book 1.
This series is a must read, and I know I'll be revisiting this world again in the future!
So book 3… nothing lesss, it was good like first two books, I did like that there was proper fight to end the war, not rushed, the only thing I didn’t like was the end, I feel it was unnecessary dragged , it could’ve ended sooner after war but there was still couple chapters after that which I would say wasn’t extremely interesting, I did like to read how they changed things and how everyone lives settled , but it was a bit dragged for my liking . Anyway, good book, well spent time reading it
Plenty of action and adventure, vampires, witches, sirens and hellcasters, there is lots of magic and mayhem in this series. It gets steamier in this last book and I enjoyed the series as it answered a lot of questions I had early on. A world where supernaturals Co existed and fight for peace against evil and monsters who threaten their lives. A fun read and I enjoyed the character development as Msddock and Reign both changed and it shows how one person can change the world, their world forever.
I loved the first two books in the series, and after 4 chapters into this installment I realized the story was rushed. There were several places that could have been expanded upon to give the story more depth, but it felt like a book was released solely for the sake of wrapping up the loose ends and moving on. The book did tie up the loose ends, just not in a way that left me completely satisfied after finishing this series.
Trigger warnings throughout the series. Book 3 in The Everlasting Curse series start us off with the gut-wrenching ending that book 2 left me. Reading from Reign's point of view brings more depth to the change Riona has brought to Onyx. Love the characters, their friendship, their dynamic is all fun to read. Angst driven storyline with an epic battle, heartfelt declaration of bonding and mating. Highly recommended series.
I really liked the ending of this trilogy; luckily, everything was resolved well for the characters. The plot was well-written in all three books, and the characters were well-developed. What I liked most was that each one had their own unique personality, especially the main characters, who helped each other improve. In short, if you like fantasy with a well-written plot, this trilogy is for you.
This was another well written, fantastic ending to Riona and Maddox's story. The only thing I personally would have wanted to read more about would have been a story about Arlo's search for the curse breaker/witch but otherwise everything else was given masterful closure.
I love the series! It really gave you everything a PNR should give you. This might be a new favorite author for me and I can’t wait to see what other books she has so I can start my next series. I will say that this series has a lot of twists and turns and it kept me well engaged.
Perfect ending to a great series. Maddox and Riona have been through so much, and it is finally coming to a head. This series was amazing and I really enjoyed it. I am sorry to see it come to an end, but I loved the ending that they got. I hope to see more of them at some point.
I absolutely loved this series and this book was a perfect ending to this series. It brought out smiles, laughs, and the tears a few times but overall is a great series and has amazing characters!
A great finish to this clever series. I really enjoyed the story and the world building. In my opinion this series has been G Bailey's best for character development - all of the main characters are fleshed out and multi dimensional. A brilliant world to loose yourself in!
Okay. I waited all this time for this? No. It wasn't even hardly a story. More like Bailey,...i mean Riona just telling us the whole plot in her head. Certain details made no sense and plotlines just jumped in and out. Glad this is the last book in the series. Disappointed.
This entire series has been a whole world filled with pain, anguish, loss but also strength, hope and love. This last book concludes the story and closes out a brutal and bloody chapter in their lives.
There are some grammar errors and sentence glitches so just be aware of them.
I loved this series but this story fell a bit flat I enjoyed this story I just expected it to be more it was also rushed but no matter I will always read G. Bailey’s stories she is one of my favourite authors and I will always recommend her books.
Another great 👍 book 📕 full of twist , turns , aghast, gut wrenching, and omg 😱 moments ……I cried 😢 laughed 😆 and sat on edge of my seat wondering what’s coming next 😊 it was hot 🥵 and just a perfect ending to a fantastic series 📕 love ❤️ love 💗 love ❤️ it
This is the final book in the series and Riana has to fight for her family a d her mate. She goes up against her dad and does learn that love can concur all. This book ends with a HEA
I enjoyed this series it is so captivating. I just hoped i could have read more detail about the ceremony it just brushes past most of the ending where you would enjoy reading more about their future
The story continues on there are moments of doubt or questioning but the strength and love is amazing throughout the book. Will definitely reread the story.
Absolutely brilliant, the story is awesome, it keeps you guessing and the steamy bits are wrote so well, the story has hidden depths and challenging emotion but it's a page Turner and Deffo for your tbr soon !
It was a good ending to the trilogy. Some grammar errors and misspelt names. I’m glad Riona and Maddox got their HEA. That Reign and Katy ended up together. Mostly everyone survived.
