This book hasn't aged particularly well - it was written at the end of the George W Bush era. It was perhaps more interesting for its summary of why Europeans dislike America, but otherwise it dwells on the War on Terror, describes a series of things the next US president should address (in fairness, Obama seems to have tackled most of them), and gives a range of quite ideological reasons for why America should lead the world.
