I never thought I'd like politics this much! Great characters, good story, all sorts of sweet things going on in here. Gabriella doesn't take crap from anyone, and she's not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right. Many smooches in here, read it now!
I absolutely loved watching Gabriella and Liam seduce one another over the negotiations table!
The opening was spectacular with the tango metaphor and their love grew so naturally from there. There were some sweet moments with him carrying her with her broken foot, and some steamy ones, too!
I loved his tractor-beam gaze, and her strength and power and goodness.
I loved this book and read it in a week. I love the that the settings was in politics which is different and interesting to me. I knew all the cities the story was set in , so it was easy to picture where they were traveling during the campaign trail. I love the flow of the story between Liam and Gabriella. They have always worked on opposite sides as lawyers but after one dinner that changes. I loved all the supporting character’s and how Gabriela’s work life intertwines with her family life.
In a good-humored and fast-paced way, this story describes the do´s and don´ts of relationships, the development of political icons, and all the difficulties that are encompassed in a run for a position in government. The plot is well written, the characters are relatable, especially when situations regarding gender and race are described, and through all the story that are strong family and friendship values. A very good start to a new series! I´ll be looking forward to reading the next books that will come!

I can’t say that I like being thrown in the political setting, since it takes all the romance out, but I tried to ignore that. Gabriella and Liam are interesting to watch as they try to manipulate things. The objective for Gabriella is to seduce Liam and make him hers. Will she be successful?
I don’t recall feeling any real fondness for either of the characters, so I couldn’t experience their falling in love as I had expected. Maybe that politics thing affects me more negatively than I realized!
Story started with Gabriella and Liam negotiating the terms of an employee's benefits. This was followed with more time together and the romance bloomed.
This is my first from this author. I enjoyed this light-hearted easy to read 22-chapter story. Was entertained by the banter between these two and the romance that ensued.

Gabriela and Liam have a serious sexual spark even when negotiating for opposite sides. When he approaches her to work on campaign strategies and speech writing with a push for her to run for the Senate life gets crazy. Politics at its best. Family, interns, handlers, stress, competition and falling in love make for a fast paced read. Witty banter and great characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book, all opinions are my own.
This book sounded so interesting but it fell short on so many points for me. There was no chemistry between Gabriella and Liam, the whole romance felt forced. Liam was for me not very likable, he manipulated things and was so hot and cold. I just didn’t like this book.
I enjoyed this read! Liam is a get it done man with no room for relationships. Gabriella is an up and coming political superstar who doesn't do flings. They are fiercely competitive and that sparks some serious chemistry between them.
Pick up if you like political settings, a diverse cast, and slow build love with some hiccups along the way!
