From the New York Timesbestselling author Sandi Lynn comes a brand new romance about a one-night stand that goes oh-so-wrong.

Jenna

There are two things you need to know about me: I’m very independent and I’m a genius. Literally, I’m a genius. At least that’s what my IQ score says. But even being a genius, mistakes are bound to happen. I am human, after all. It all started one night when a sexy billionaire bought me a drink and I accidentally tossed it all over his five-thousand-dollar suit. He tried to blame me, but in actuality, it was his fault because of his lack of respect for my personal boundaries. I offered to pay for the dry cleaning and gave him my number to let me know how much it cost. He did, and we ended up spending the night together. Long story short, the condom broke, I forgot to take my pill two days in a row and we mistakenly created a baby. I never planned on telling him about the baby until I lost my job, and my landlord turned the apartments I lived in into condos. He told me he couldn’t be a father, and I was okay with that. I didn’t need a man complicating my life. I was all set to embark on my journey as a single parent until…

Lucas

The only thing I did was notice a beautiful woman and buy her a drink. A drink she carelessly spilled all over me and then had the nerve to say it was my fault. I forgave her because I wanted her. At least for one night. Maybe I should have just forgotten about her and thrown her number away. But I didn’t, and a mishap occurred during our one-night stand that resulted in a baby. I wasn’t father material, or maybe I was, but just didn’t want to be. The last thing I needed in my life was baby drama. I liked my bachelor life the way it was, and Jenna was cool with that. She made it clear she didn’t want me involved. I was all set to continue on with my life as if nothing happened until…

Cutesy romance

This was weird. And he first half of the book, the hero is a jerk, but then when he is a sweet and loving guy. It was like his whole personality changed. And the last 25% of the book is then having more babies getting married, etc. It was really cute but the change in the hero was just not believable. Did I enjoy the last 25%? Heck yeah! I love when a hero is over the top in love with his woman and there is even an epilogue twenty something years in the future. I just wish he would have been a better guy in the beginning because the change was just a little over the top. I did like the story though and it is free on KU.

I Don't like just leaving bad reviews without explaining. So: It's not that the plot is bad. In fact, it's got a cool premise... but, The lead female is self-righteous, rude, presumptuous, and comes across as super entitled without the necessary back story to justify the attitude or how "independent" she is supposed to be. As a reader, you are told she is independent and strong, but her actions don't portray that. She's just mean and violent. It really felt like she's actually a super weak character who is overcompensating. I actually don't have a problem with the lead male character, the way he was written was marginally ok. I haven't read any of the author's other works, so I can't say much about her writing abilities, but regardless this felt like it was written by an inexperienced author, or she was in a rush, or simply not interested in her own story. It felt rushed, shallow and forced. Either way, I feel like it could have used more work and better character development. Also, the romance scenes were short and almost mechanical, so they don't justify reading this either. I wish I could have liked this, but I just didn't.

I'll say this, I just realized that I may not be the demographic that this book was intended for. If you want short, to the point then it's totally for you.

But if you want serious character development, payoff, and want to read something where you grow with the characters then this is not for you.

Baby Drama- Lucas and Jenna

Such a cute, fun read.
Jenna is out one night at a bar, when Lucas walks up and wants to buy her a drink. She ends up dumping the drink on his several thousand dollar suit. She gives him her phone number and tells him to let her know how much it cost to clean it, and she will pay for it. One thing leads to another, he calls her, they meet for dinner, they go back his place, etc. and now Jenna is pregnant.

This was a very fun read. The chemistry and banter between these two was fun and hot. Loved reading about Lucas and seeing how much he changed and grew throughout this story. For a quick, light, fun, and steamy read..this is it.

I like Sandi Lynn's books, I really do but this one fell too short for me. Jenna was a massive bitch. Not a genius, just a bitch. Aside from just saying she had a high IQ, I wish her character went into more depth about how smart she was but instead she came off as a complete bitch PMS'ing every damn day. I swear, every conversation she had with Lucas, she had to have some type of attitude in response to simple question. How the hell did he even find that attractive? I'm not even going to rant about Lucas. I don't want to get started on that mess. I wish Jenna made him work for her after the hurtful crap he spat. I had to force myself to finish this book and that was because I paid for it. This whole book felt rushed like the author was on a crunch time to meet her deadline because her other books were so much more descriptive and had depth. This one was like when you wait too long to write a paper for school and you wait the night before and turn it in as is. I am still going to read her books and hope that she does better. It's just disappointing because the premise sounded really good.

LOVE this book! fast paced, h super smart, strong, confident, kickass, independent, hilarious and speaks her mind!
was laughing all the way thru this book omg - finished in one sitting and sighed at the end!
The book opened with h kneeing some handsy dude in the family jewel t at club hen accidentally spilling drinks on the H - I just knew this would be a fun ride after this ,,,and it was.
I wont spoil too much since this is a shorter book but its a lot of laugh, especially when h is in labor or should I say labors lol.
H was just a little ass at first but makes sense after meeting daddy ( side note: it would be great to have a book for daddy who sounds like an older hunk and nothing like a reformed arrogant a**hole) but i wish we had scenes with the father and grandkids though.
Overall, loved it, was a fast paced and didn't see enough of them falling in love more friends vibe but the birth scenes and other scenes more than made up for this for sure.
No cheating ( they had a friends with benefits arrangement to help h with her hormones) lol
No ow/om drama ( h saw H with ow at restaurant - went in bathroom and let the cat out she was preggo for him, she walked out on him, no other incidents, not with anyone else)
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Baby Drama de Sandi Lynn

Argumento:

Jenna

It always baffles me when a book has so many typos and no one calls the author out? - the story was enjoyable but when I pay over 6 bucks for a book I expect it to be properly proofed. We have the right to expect that especially when the price of books are practically being priced out of our reach in Canada. To not do so is very unprofessional. Words that should be plural but are not - sentences that don’t make sense or are backwards - missing pronouns - as instead of and - plus your book is about a programmer and the word is CODE not coding - it’s not like “he’s coding get the crash cart - it’s always CODE when referring to programming CODE - it helps to learn a bit about a profession if you are writing about it - this is just to list a few areas of issues with this book. it is not enough to just use auto correct when selling books - they need to be properly edited and proofed and proofed again and yet again. This author has written enough books to know this and yet, here we are?

What a jerk at first. Had a one night stand with Jenna. She lost her apartment and her job then found out she was pregnant. She went to him for help. He didn't want anything to do with the baby. His dad came to town and was a jerk to Jenna as well. He finally changed his mind and decided to be a father. They ended up getting married.

Brilliant

Loved this book.
Loved the storyline and the characters and their connections with each other.
Loved Jenna and Lucas. Loved how their love blossomed and grew.
So glad Jenna made up with her parents and so glad Lucas stood up to his Dad and put him in his place.
Absolutely wonderful that they had four children who simply adored them and that Lucas had the life he never invisioned. A beautiful heartwarming story.

This book was amazing. Lucas and Jenna’s story will take you for an awesome ride. A strong independent woman meets an arrogant man who could learn a thing or two. This was classic Sandi Lynn’s amazing story telling but somehow different in an absolutely wonderful way. The story kept a smile on your face and love in your heart from start to finish. If you don’t have a copy get it now!!!!

I find that this book completely lacks depth. No offense to the author i’ve never read any of her books before but I don’t think I will again after this one. The storyline itself could’ve been great but it just completely lacked any sort of depth and I didn’t feel any connection to the characters at all. I also think the book was super inconsistent and jumped all over the place. One chapter and then boom six weeks later or a month later or just completely in the middle of a chapter the next sentence is in a completely different place. Everything felt incredibly rushed and I don’t even mean the timeline, this book to me felt like something a teenager would throw together in an hour or two when a book report is due. It felt like she was rushing to get to the main plot points in the story and let’s face it, both the main characters are assholes to each other and I can’t say I liked either of their characters. They barely spent any time together throughout the course of the book and suddenly they’re in love with each other and we’re supposed to feel a connection between them that’s just not there. I rated it two stars which - let’s face it, is probably more than it should be given, but that’s only because I’m a sucker for happy endings and epilogues into the future to see how the little family has grown, but this book as a whole was just awful. I’ve never written a review before but I felt the need to with this one, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book as bad as this one. I cant ever bring myself to DNF a book but only 20% into this book I already knew I wasn’t going to like it and I didn’t even really enjoy it either. Like I said, everything just felt incredibly rushed and there was multiple other errors in the book like the chapter would be in Lucas’ point of view and then suddenly it’s using words like he says or he does this and then switches back to I did this or I said this. I wouldn’t really recommend this book to anybody but I did stick it out and hoped it would get better and unfortunately it didn’t.

I listened on audio and not even good narration could save this. Very strange lightweight rom-com. MC's are two driven, selfish, strong willed individuals. Since the beginning I found it hard to like either of them.

Jenna is a genius IQ 165 but hides it as her parents really did a number on her growing up. She comes across as rude, presumptuous and kind of mean. She and has only one close gal pal who dumps Jenna when her friend's new boyfriend doesn't like her.

Lucas is selfish, only does one night stands, works for his father's company and wears $5000 suits. He doesn't want any entanglements, tells her all this up front and she is good with it. 6 wks later when she finds she is pregnant, loses her apartment due to it being turned into condos, her job goes under and her best friend is no help she shows up on Lucas' door asking if she can stay for a few days. Again weird.

She ends up moving in an apartment he owns and getting a job for his company when she solves a problem his team couldn't and he finds out she is a genius.

Overall this book was kind of a mess. The epilogue is as long as the book, in it they work through all their issues and decided to raise the baby together. Yeah, the epilogue is better than the book but I still don't like either of them much. By the end they are a loving couple, he seems kind of whipped to me and she is just a bossy. Who puts up with the crap either of them dish out?

Fantastic

Omg what another amazing book 10 stars instead of five.

Absolutely loved Jenna and Lucas story some parts would make you laugh and some would make you cry.
The first chapter I was rolling around laughing with Jenna kneeing a guy in the crown jewls because he was in her personal space and of course Lucas and his buddy Danny seen it.
Lucas was standing behind Jenna she turned around and spilled scotch on his $5000 suit but he didn't care she gave him her number and to tell her how much his dry cleaning was.

When Jenna discovered she was pregnant she rang her best friend Bri to tell her but her obnoxious boyfriend ruined their friendship so Jenna moved out of her apartment as it was been turned into condos plus she lost her job and moved in with Lucas but he wasn't happy with Jenna moving in plus finding out the she was pregnant. It took for Jenna to faint and split her head open and hear his baby heartbeat and see his baby on the ultrasound that he wanted then both in his life.

The story just got better and better as it went on. The best part was when Jenna bumped into Bri in the street and she said why didn't she tell her Jenna just laughed and said thank your boyfriend for ruining the night she needed her the most to watch tv with him and not with her best friend.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Sandi's work as much as I do

Rushed

This book was to rushed. The whole time I felt like the Arthur was in a race to get to the end. It glazed over thing where more details should have been. And honestly I didn’t like Jenna or and this should tell you something. I can’t even remember the guys name and I just finished this book. He was an awful person who didn’t want a baby to Interfere with his life and work. Not for some redeemable reason like he didn’t think he was good enough. Nope he just didn’t want a baby to mess up his flow. Towards the end she tried to elude to his dad being a crap dad being the reason, But she crammed his excuse for being a crappy person in to 2 sentences and then that’s it he is absolved of his behavior. He also was just really crappy to Jenna. Then Jenna is supposed to be some genius but is made to seem flighty and care free one second then serious and a hard core professional woman in another. She jumped around to much on what type of person Jenna was no way to relate to her character. This book could have been pretty good but to many details missing and poor character development ruined it. If you have a “hero” start off and then continue through 85% of the book being a awful person who is rude and Arrogant to his baby mom and Ok abandoning his child. The redemption of him needs to be spectacular not a less than a paragraph explanation.

the spitfire heroine? A BREATH OF FRESH FUCKING AIR

wasnt expecting to actually enjoy this book, but it happened lol all because of the heroine. i love the heroine in this, she's the non-sense, no taking anyone's bullshit and independent woman that speaks her mind heroine who also isnt out there with their woe is me and "im so wet for the hero" horny af heroine that is always, always, subservient to their men bc thats how contemporary romance authors want to portray their heroines in their book. which honestly ive had enough or 😭

gotta say this book spoiled me with this kind of heroine bc now im trying to find more books that has one like her (you know, actually close to being what a normal, rational woman would be like irl and not the horny ass sad heroines begging for the man's love i usually read in the books. im over that shit now honestly)

anyways, one flaw of this book is the PACING. its too quick. i wish the author gave it room to breathe and let the story flow naturally.

read this book if you're looking for a strong heroine character. your not the usual surprise baby drama that always happens in every baby daddy romance book (yeah trust me on this one, ive read many) bc this one is different from the others (except the meeting bc ofc, not everything here is perfect, you know) and this is fun, light read! only finished it in one sitting!

I Really Liked It ... at first

I am gonna give this a 3 star. It was a decent read. I enjoyed the first half, actually a lot. Jenna and Lucas have this song and dance between them, almost a power struggle in a way ... after their one night stand, she finds out she is with child and decides to keep the baby. Her life falls apart around her. Loses her job. Loses her apartment. Loses her best friend to the absolute douchecanoe controlling boyfriend of hers [the best friend, not Jenna] ... so Jenna goes the one other place she can think of... Lucas' penthouse. She shows up pregnant and needy and she HATES being needy. So she decides to leave wh3n his reaction isn't exactly what she had hoped for. And with the power struggle of him asking her to stay and her pride making her go, she believes her foot.

Then the power struggle REALLY begins.

My hang up with this book is that there are a lot of simple little mistakes, a lot of quotation mess-ups, some wrong details [does she live on the 15th floor or 50th?] ... and the 2nd half of the book seems crazy rushed. Then BAM! the child/ren are grown up and the end...

So there you have it!

Baby Drama

This story was awesome. Lots of drama, funny at the stuff that happened between them. She was a very smart person, didn't want people in her personal space. They met at a bar,she threw a drink on him. Later on she contacted him to pay for his cleaning bill. They ended up in bed together for a one night stand. Soon after that she realizes that she is pregnant and goes back to his place to tell him he is going to be a dad. As she leaves, she falls breaking her ankle. She ends up with no home, no job. He offers for her to stay with him until she's out of her cast. He had been working on a project that included coding. She goes into his office to find out why he so stressed out, she finds the correct code he needed. He ends up giving her a job at his company. She has a very high IQ and he decides she needs to work for his company so other companies could take his business away. The more time they are together, more they get involved. This book was full of drama and funny at times! I enjoyed read this author's book. It's a hit! Enjoy

Brilliant & addictive♥️True Love 😍matched in Heaven 🙌

Bravo 👏 for Sandi Lynn, whose latest book delivers an exceptional sizzling romantic effect overall, especially her admirers all over the globe! Baby Drama scores more than five stars, frankly it deserves more !!!
Well developed main characters, excellent plot with funny interactions, mixed with lovable funny dramatics, I just can’t put my kindle down.
Lucas and Jenna are magically thrown together in an otherwise familiar drama, resulting into the sweetest love story which is, in my opinion, matched in Heaven! Oh yes, opposite attracts, right? Well, just pick up the book, and see for yourselves... Lucas and Jenna... two geniuses in their own right, met, loved and conquered...😍
With four super genius children like their parents, “Baby Drama “ is a love story to be told and retold... it’s a forever book in my shelf👌

okay, nothing more.

Just a fictional story, nothing unexpected. Was hoping for a bit more than this story. Here’s my question: why are most of these stories about adults that either have been abandoned by a parent, or never knew their parents, or they died in an accident when they were a child? Does no one have parents anymore? This drama begins to grate, as I do not believe it is the society’norm’, yet seems to be the ‘norm’ in these fiction stories. Don’t get it. And, not sure it makes for a better story, as unhealthy upbringings do not make for a well adjusted adult. Not only that, maladjusted adults don’t miraculously change. That’s the real fallacy in these stories that I dislike.

Baby Drama is a cute sexy read. You will fall in love with Jenna even through all her strings of bad luck. There is such lovely chemistry between Jenna and Lucas. I love their banter and just how this pick on each other the more they get to know each other. You feel for Lucas once he begins to realize just what he is missing. Jenna is just sweet, smart and sassy. Lucas holds all his emotions back and can be a bit frustrating. You will love all the changes Jenna and Lucas go through. There are plenty laugh out loud moments, sassy moments and sexy ones that will have you falling for Jenna and Lucas so hard. I really could not put this one down and you need to read this one.

They fell in love too fast. They realized together they could learn how to love without all the pressure both went through growing up. He came across as weak. He was raised by a unloving, cold and ruthless father. He could not do anything right according to his father. Her being a genius, her parents would not let her be a child with friends. She left home to be free of the pressures from her parents.
This story went from him not wanting kids to having 4. Yeah right. One quarter of the book was about raising their children. His Father all of a sudden retired and her parents wanted to help with the children.
