Allmother Rising is a solid 3.5 stars for me. (And, I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.)

A quick read, and while the pacing sometimes felt rushed, it never felt boring. I was eager to turn the page and see what came next. I feel as though the relationships could have used more time to develop - I wanted to linger a bit.

But the world building?! Incredible. Bell has introduced us to a beautifully complex world. Her writing is clear and her description vivid, though some
