We are the choices that we make. We are in charge of ourselves & how we think determines how we choose. The author provides valuable information & techniques to think you yourself as a business. You truly are the CEO of You, Inc. What're you going to do for you today? Highly recommend.

This book was pretty dated harkening back to the 80s and 90s mentality. The stories and anecdotes were straight up false in some cases however the quotes and some depictions were somewhat inspiring. This is an ok book if you just want a "shot in the arm" of something motivational but don't expect much depth.

I bought this book in the early 2000’s and it’s been part of my personal library ever since. I’ve read it multiple times over the years. I always find a nugget of wisdom in between the pages. Great book if you are looking to reset your mind to go after your goals 💕

This is the third book I've read by Burke Hedges, and he did not disappoint! It is rich in wisdom, and he shares many quotes, stories and real-life examples that kept the reading interesting. He shares 12 chapters, and 10 principles to help grow us to increase our market value: Take responsibility, dare to dream, the power of belief, the courage to take action, attitude is everything, develop productive habits, manage your emotions, prepare for success, balance your life, change or be changed, and choice, not chance, determines your destiny.

Here are a few take-away quotes that I appreciated:

"When it's all said and done, who we are and what we become is determined by the choices we make."

"If YOU don't believe in YOU, how do you expect anyone else to believe in you?"

"People who achieve the biggest successes are always the biggest dreamers."

"You can continue to do the things that will lead to frustration and unhappiness, or you can make the changes that help you get what you want most out of life."

"It takes daily courage and discipline to overcome the two biggest enemies of action: Procrastination, and excuses."

I believe this book should be on everyone's personal development list!

You Inc. has a lot of good advice and even better examples of people who over achieved in all aspects of their life. The book jumps around a little, and it was hard to get a feel for where it was going next, yet once I pushed through that, the message was great.

I loved this so much that i bought a hard copy for the same. (I read it on kindle)
The best part of the book is the number of stories shared in it. I think stories bind the reader and the writer.
Overall a good book to have in your repertoire.

Super buena lectura, fácil de leer con puntos muy prácticos y fácil de poner en practica. Me encanta el énfasis que pone de la importancia de vivir una vida equilibrada con las 5 f’s: fe, familia, en forma, fineza con los amigos, y finanzas!
