This is a well written book with a cast of strong characters all centering around Lyza and Mitch. The author does a great job building the story and pulled me right in with the intriguing story line. She had me glued to the pages with all the action and violence as well as the progressing relationship between them. Their chemistry is off the charts and the sex scenes are smokin' hot. She brings a strong female with an air of mystery ,throws in twists and turns along the way and brings it all to life with her vividly painted scenes delivering an exciting and action packed thriller. Loved it!!

From the moment I opened this book I was in the story. And what a story sprang from the mind of Mrs. Ebony Olson!
Lyza was raised as a member of a mercenary group called the Sword and Arrow. Elite soldiers, exceptional assassins. She has never had a choice of her own, everything has been done for and by the Arrow. During a mission she is captured and imprisoned for 5 years. It is not understood that she is deaf and mute, it is thought that she will not speak despite all the torture she has undergone. Until she is taken out of prison by a man. Her job is to keep him safe, when he dies she will die too.
Then the Arrow discovers she's still alive and wants to get her back.
The love that develops between Lyza and Mitch is explosive, just like the fights described in this book, where Lyza comes out victorious every time.
A fantastic world is described by the writer where betrayal reigns supreme.
The world being created is one like you have never read. And Lyza is a real badass woman.
A great story with a great ending. (In all honesty, I was disappointed that there was an end)

This book is extraordinary!
This is the first book I have read by Olsen. I started mid morning and read it straight thru to the wee hours of the night.
The characters are extremely well drawn, even the supporting ones. The MC suffers through enormous trials and never folds. She even manages to find an unlikely love. I will be buying more books by this author.
