This is a woman’s devotional for the upcoming year. And it’s never been a better time for it. The world is full of uncertainty and many have lost hope during all the isolation. God’s word reminds us that we have security and hope in him and what better way to remember that by reading this daily to refuel on his peace. About the devo…
Each day is a scripture reading, followed with a discussion about how it might apply to today’s events. And lastly a heartfelt prayer, which I love. I do t know about you but I can never get enough of prayer.
But what I like most is that it’s following the “A Read thru the Bible in a Year Plan” which is located at the back of the devo. I know devotionals are sometimes considered a cheap substitute for quite time with God, but let’s just be honest and take a good look at our quite time. Are you doing that everyday? I’m not. So this was a relief because it’s bringing me back to His word and I really need the simple less than 10 minutes to do it daily option.
I highly recommend it if you want something to encourage you and you’re not doing something daily. It’s a blessing and comfort for me and I think it will be for you also.

I do not like to post a review until I actually use/read the book.
I was excited when this book arrived. It is small enough to carry with you wherever you go--which make is extremely practical for a busy women always on the go.
Beautiful cover and lovely print on the pages.
I love the Read Thru the Bible in a Year plan. This makes the devotional that much more attractive---as when you take time with the Devotion of the day, you can also spend time in God's word.
Uplifting and real!

Who doesn't need encouragement during these troubling times? This new book offers that encouragement, and I'm so excited to have it! I'm always eager to try new devotionals and I can tell that this is going to become a favorite, because it's perfect for both new believers and seasoned Christians. Daily Wisdom for Women 2022 begins with 'All Things New' on January 1, and looking ahead, I see that it wraps up the year with 'Unchanging, Constant'. Each entry is just one page, but there is so much value packed into each one. There is Bible scripture, followed by a short essay that explores that verse, and a prayer that ties it all together. So much wisdom, and there 365 of these gems!

I was so excited to receive this devotional. The devotional is set for 2022 but I read each day of December. Each day starts with a Scripture verse, followed by a meditation by the author and ends with a prayer. This month I have been really encouraged by the words that have been written in the devotional and I look forward to continuing to read it in 2022!

This is an excellent little devotional book. Each devotion contains a scripture selection, a devotion, and a nice prayer. Quite good. I thoroughly enjoy this. I plan to make it part of my every day devotion time. It's not long and is easily done each day. Recommended.

I am really enjoying this devotional. Each daily reading begins with a scripture. And throughout the devotional, the scriptures come from a variety of versions of the Bible, which I personally enjoy, because sometimes reading a different version will illuminate something that reading my usual version does not.
After the scripture, there is a short and straightforward devotion that will make the reader think about a certain topic or focus the reader on something that they should think on throughout the day. I like how easy it is to read through the devotion and clearly apply it to my life. The devotion is rounded out by a short prayer at the bottom of the page.
I am using this devotion immediately prior to my Bible reading as I work to read through the Bible. For those looking to read through the entire Bible in a year, there is a plan located in the back of the devotional for that purpose. I definitely recommend this devotional as a nice addition to your daily Bible reading.

This is a lovely hardback devotional designed for women for the upcoming year. The daily devotionals include a scripture verse, followed by a devotional related to the scripture to inspire and uplift and ends with a brief prayer. With the turmoil in the world, this is a wonderful way to start the day by reading and focusing on God’s words. There’s a bonus of a read through the Bible guide in the back of the book along with a scripture index for the devotionals. I highly recommend this book for Christian women to use during 2022, to start their day and be renewed in their spirit daily.

A great devotional that I will be using this year. I love the textured cover that will look pretty on the coffee table as a reminder to read daily. The opening page drew me in with the first sentences, “ No matter what happens in your life, you can rely on God to surround you with his outstretched arm, His heart drenched in love, His hand dripping with grace. When you trip up, when you’re too weak to stand, when you’re lower than low, God is ready to catch you, prop you up, and lift you up.” Each day has a scripture, the devotion, and a prayer. There is also a read through the Bible in a year plan located in the back. I suggest you join me on this journey for the New Year.

I'm actively reading this book as part of my daily devotional time each morning, but I've read through enough to post a brief review.
I love devotional books, and I like how this one includes a Bible reading plan with it (though I do wish the font for that was a bit larger). The daily devotional readings are taken from passages in the reading plan found at the end of the book.
The book is a nice size to make it easy to fit in your purse or bag, and each devotion is short and can be read in just a few minutes, though it does give you something to ponder. I really like that it comes with a ribbon bookmark. I look forward to reading it each day.

Every year I look for a new and inspiring devotional. This year I found this one... Daily Wisdom for Women.
It's a lovely, hardback, just right size for a devotional.
There is a devotional for every day of the year. Every devotional has a scripture at the top of the page and then at the bottom of the page there is a short prayer to go with the devotional.
After perusing the book I found that the devotionals are well thought out and quite scripture based. A win-win for me.

This is a lovely hardback edition of writings by various authors. These tidbits of daily wisdom are written with a scripture, reading and prayer to coordinate with the Barbour Publishing listing of reading through the Bible in a year, which is listed at the end of the book. Complete with an attached satin bookmark, this makes a beautiful gift to help start the year off for someone who will be reading through and studying the Bible throughout the new year.

The book is definitely for 2022 since it says the day of the week (ex. Saturday, January 1) which makes me sad since it will be confusing if I wanted to continue to use the book for a couple of years. Each day has a “theme” with a line from the Bible and an interpretation. It’s like your typical devotional book, sometimes you will feel hopeful, sometimes sad, and sometimes attacked, but it’s a good way to do some introspection. I will be looking forward to adding this book to my 2022 nighttime routine.

This devotional offers daily bites of Bible-based thoughts to apply to the 2020s. I find the lessons applicable and there is always a tie-in to both Scripture and a short prayer. They are daily reflections that are just a single page each. It can be a good way to start or end the day.

I love this devotional. It’s so pretty and feminine, a devotional for every day of the year. A devotional plus Bible verse makes it perfect to spend time each day in God’s word. I bought one for my friend for Christmas and she loves it.

This is such an encouraging devotional. I love the common applications of the scripture and how relatable it is (like Satan being a bully on the playground or the gossip at work). It’s so very necessary in todays world to just take a minute to ground myself and this is such a lovely way to do that each day.
