She was stuck in the past, until he showed her a brighter future…

Jordyn Hall loves her job working for the town of Five Peaks. As the records custodian, she spends her days in the basement of city hall surrounded by dusty old books filled with fascinating new information. What’s not to love about it? It’s private, and lets her escape from a pain that refuses to fade even years later. That is, until he shows up. He’s handsome, charming and, most importantly, in need of her help. Jordyn is the only one who can find him the information he’s looking for before it’s too late. As it turns out though, that isn’t the only thing he needs…

After failing yet another attempt to join his clan’s Strike Team, dragon shifter Tars Rixa is given a task by his clan head. Go look into the dragons’ past for any information on what their ancient enemy the Warped Fae might be up to. Convinced it’s a punishment, he doesn’t hold much hope that anything will come of it. What he never expected, was that his ‘punishment’ would lead him to finding his mate. Now they just need to unravel the old secrets before it’s too late.

The trial for the Warped Fae is coming up in less than a week, and the Rixa clan leader is convinced that whatever is going to happen will occur before then. With the clock ticking, Tars and Jordyn bury their heads in books, desperate for anything. Their search for clues might be fruitless, but spending so much time together has led to another realization. They were meant for one another. Fate has brought them together. Unbeknownst to them however, the Warped Fae has other intentions, and he can’t let the pair discover his plans. Even if that means striking at them in broad daylight…

Riley is one of those early-morning people you love to hate, because she swears she doesn't need caffeine, even though the coffee-maker is connected to her smartphone. She lives in a three-story townhouse by the good graces of a tabby-cat who rules the house, the couch, the table, well, basically everywhere. When she's not groveling for forgiveness for neglecting to pet her kitty enough, Riley is strapped in to her writing chair coming up with crazy worlds where she can make her own decisions of when feeding time is and how much coffee can be drank without her friends--of which she has three--holding yet another intervention that they threaten to post on the internet.

Dragon Loved is the second book in the exciting Dragons of Mount Rixa series.

Something new has come through the gate putting everyone in jeopardy. When they learn what it is that came through the dragons must find the reason before the Warped Fae destroys them all. Legends say he is the worst of the worst, they know he has an agenda but they don't know what it is.

Its fun watching these big strong alpha dragons brought to their knees all for the one they love.

With twists and turns that keep the pages turning there is something for everyone who loves a shifter romance.

A fantastic second book in the series
Wow the attraction between Jordyn and tars is off the charts. I think Jordyn honestly thought she’d end up working till a ripe old age still working down in her baseman of city hall with her precious books, living alone with her cat. She had been hurt in the past so was quite guarded but when she met Tars that was it , she just couldn’t stop looking at him. I must admit I found myself smiling when they met and went to the vault. They were super cute bless J, she was desperate to find out what was in that vault. There’s just something really special about these two. This is another brilliant book It just had me smiling yes there is danger but it seems like together these two can work anything out.

The Rixa clan are guarding the Warped Fae while he awaits his trial. Tars Rixa is given the task of searching the ancient archives to find out what he might be up to. There are secrets hidden that may expose his plans.
Jorddyn works as the Record Custodian of Five Peaks and loves her job. She knows about the dragons, but has never met one.
When she is asked to help Tars, she resents the intrusion into her privacy - until she gets to know him.
Will they find the information they need in time to save the clans? How will Jordyn react when she learns Tars' secret? I love all of the Five Peaks stories, and am looking forward to reading more about the Rixa clan!

Jordyn is a book addict and loves her job. She is shocked by Tars going into the secret part which is locked looking for information.

She wants to join him, but he needs to know first if she can be trusted. He takes her on a date, while she is skittish about relationships because of her past.

He has feelings for her and soon shows her his dragon. She finds it amazing.

Together they try to find the secret about the wrapped fae, while getting closer and closer to each other.

Great read full action and dragon shifters

Riley Storm has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Jordyn and Tars. Tars has been told by his sister who is the leader of his dragon clan to go to the vault to see if he can find out what the Warped Fae did to almost win the war they had with him before. Tars has to go to Mark in order to get to the vault. Mark calls Jordyn and asks her to come to his office. When she gets to his office, she sees Tars and just stares. The only help he needs is to be shown where the vault is. He tells her that she is not allowed to go inside the vault. Tars only has one week to find the information for his sister. He goes through the books but he is not finding anything. Things happen between him and Jordyn and he takes her out on a date. This date gets her to get inside the vault. She is helping Tars but still, they have not found anything. Tars goes with his sister to talk to the Warped Fae and he tells him what he is doing at the vault. When he gets back to the vault, he is attacked. Once the fight is over, Tars feels air coming in from the floor of the vault and sees the carpet going under the wall of the vault. Tars breaks down the wall and somehow Jordyn finds out the information Tars needs for his sister. He tells her that he needs to go to his sister and give her the information before the trial. Jordyn tells him that he can't drive and read at the same time so that she is going with him. He tells her that he is not driving. As they are flying, Jordyn tells him that they are being followed. They get attacked and when things look bad for them, Tar's sister comes to help him. Tars tells Jordyn that she has to go and get help for him and his sister. He tells her where to go and who to ask for. When Tars gets back to help his sister, he is attacked by one of the other clan members. This dragon doesn't seem like he knows Tars but they had been friends. When Jordyn gets to where she needs to go, she is stopped by a guard. Finally, she is able to speak to a leader and she tells him what she found out. He gets everyone together and goes to help Tars and his sister. When the others get to Tars and his sister, they are in trouble. Jordyn did not let the dragons leave without her and when she sees the state Tars is in she runs to him as soon as she is on the ground.
Can Tars and his sister stop the Warped Fae from whatever he wants to do?
Will Jordyn and Tars get together and make a go of things?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great continuation of a fascinating bunch of series!

Dragons of Mount Rixa is the final set of series set in 5 Peaks, I expect! Tars is tasked to find out what the Warped Fae is up to. So he goes into the Vault to look at old records. There he meets Jordyn the librarian or records keeper. She helps him try to find out what is happening. Meanwhile, Tars is enjoying spending time with her. When things start going wrong, it will take both of them to solve this problem. Will they be able to find the answer in time? Read this to find out.

The pace is fast and the tone is hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes and some action. The characters are vivid and engaging. I am interested in seeing who is next up. I am hoping that some final comments were foreshadowing! I would recommend that you read all the 5 Peaks series in order. Start with the Dragons of Mount Aterna box set, then Mount Teres, Mount Valen before Mount Atrox and then these 2 from Mount Rixa. Enjoy this exciting dragon shifter romance set in a different world from so many other shifter stories. These dragons have some very interesting abilities.

A wonderful fast paced adventure that you are sure to love !!Tars Rixa has been tasked with going to the vault and looking through the records to find answers as to why the Warped Fae has returned and what happened previously. Jordyn works in the records department ( the basement) at city hall where she has full access with the exception of one section that is caged off and locked. When Tars invades her space one mystery is solved in regards to the caged off section. Tars in the meantime is on a time limit and he needs help and despite a little flirting back and forth he can't allow Jordyn to help so he decides to reveal his dragon side to Jordyn. One day just as Tars and Jordyn enter the basement Tars is attacked by one of the fae who then runs away. As Tars is cleaning up he discovers a secret room that holds more records. Will they find the answer about the warped fae in time ? Will Tars be able to claim Jordyn as his mate ? Will the dragon clans be able to stop the warped fae ? Only time will tell. I read an Advanced copy with NO expectation of a review. All opinions are my own.

Jordyn works in the basement of City Hall then Tars comes looking for anJordyn enjoys her job working on the old records in the basement of City Hall but is intrigue the strong metal cage that no one is allowed in unless they have the code for the lock but she has never seen anyone access it. Then she is called up to see her boss and she is introduced to Tars Rixa who will be working in the caged area. She finds the tall muscular man attractive and wonders what he is looking for. Tars has been sent by his sister the leader of Clan Rixa who had been interrogating the Warped Fae and something he lets fall makes her think something in the past will help her in the trial of the Fae so she sends Tars to look at the records held in the Vault in City Hall. Tars is shocked by his dragon's reaction to Jordyn when he meets her.

4.5 STARS -

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Dragon Loved by Riley Storm is the second book in the Dragons of Mount Rixa spin-off series. This book is part of the Five Peaks series spin-offs. Each spin-off series (Valens, Teres, etc.) can be read separately, but are tied together by the same villain - The Warped Fae. This is Jordyn and Tars' story. I really enjoyed this read (and not just because I could identify with Jordyn being a major book nerd). With each story we learn more about the dragons and their past dealings with the Warped Fae. Packed with action, drama, betrayal, love, sexy shifters and their prospective mates, this reads fast and addictively. Here is a series that I highly recommend and while you can read the stories individually with some spoilers, I would definitely read them in series order to get the most enjoyment from these dragons!

This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Booksprout.

The Dragons of Mount Rixa get down to business.
The Five Peaks continues to hold my interest with unique characters and intriguing storylines. This continues in this Book Two which features Tar, brother of the Clan Leader, and Jordyn, the city’s keeper of the old records. Tar and Jordyn meet when Tar needs to get into the private area in the basement to search the five families only records, something Jordyn has long wondered what was in there.
With the Fae behind bars it’s important to know what’s it doing and why. And with only twenty-three hours to find the answer it becomes a detective story.
There are lots of action, unexpected battles and people put in unusual circumstances. The arc is heating up and I’m so looking forward to book three. By all means read the whole series, you won’t regret it. Of course you can just read this book and enjoy it as a stand-alone. PEACE.

Tars is a Dragon. Jordyn is a Records keeper at his city hall in the basement. There has been a war between the Fae and Dragons for the last 70 years. Tars is sent to city hall to go over the records to try to figure out what happened 70 years ago to make this war happen. While there he is introduced to Jordyn, who his dragon has automatic feelings for. This is not something that Tars would have ever expected to happen. Does Tars find out the information that is needed with Jordyn's help? Is there a mate bond between these two? What is the issue that happened 70 years ago?

This a well-written book 2 in the Dragons of Mount Rixa Book Series has very strong main Characters and a great story. These well-designed and amazing characters are exciting, have chemistry, and are well-crafted. The story has danger, action, drama and intrigue, as well as lors of chemistry, passion, and love with a bit of humour. A must read from a great Author and is a continuation to a good series. The search for clues might be fruitless, but spending time together has led to then realization that they are meant for one another. Fate has brought them together.

Second book in the series for the Rixa clan. Tars is a dragon shifter and has been told to search out information from the past and what happened in the war. Now that the warped Fae has come back they need to know everything they can on how he was defeated before and what he could possibly have planned this time. But where do you find old records from the history of dragons? Jordyn loves what she does. And it makes her very happy. Some might consider being in a basement all day reading old books boring, but not her. She finds joy in learning. But a new visitor is about to change everything for her. The story has plenty of fighting and romance.

Jordyn works in an archive and Tar, a dragon shifter, has come to do research. Trying to find answers from a fight that happened long ago, they have a deadline of getting the information back to the right dragons before the attack happens again. They start a relationship, but it has plenty of ups and downs. Loved the different abilities that the dragons had, like fire, ice or earth. The teamwork of Jordyn and Tar was terrific, considering she was a human without special abilities. Loved the ending and I have a cat tree that is over five feet tall, too. Our two love it.

Jordyn loves her work down in the basement of the library for the city. She enjoys the peace and quiet and is not interested in changing her position. It's her refuge from the pain she suffered at the altar years before.
Tars is given the task by his clan leader (who's also his sister), to go to the vault and find out any information on the Warped Fae, who's locked up in a special jail to hold him. Jordyn is introduced to Tars and told to give him anything he needed. The timeline to find the information needed is a mere week in the future.
I enjoyed reading this story and was kept involved within the story until the end.

Dragon Loved

I have read many of this author's series and I find them all so good. This second book in this series is about Tars and his quest to find out what an evil fae, who they call the Warped Fae, is up to and the reasons behind his surrender to the Rixa clan. Tars is tasked with reading archives with a female human named Jordyn who is unaware that he is a dragon and could possibly be his fated mate. Together they are determined to find the answer that they are looking for in order to stop this Warped Fae from destroying the dragon clans. This book was exciting, filled with danger and showed determination and to never give up.

Fun and feisty

If you have read any of the other dragon books you have an advantage when it comes to reading this one however it is not necessary to have read any to thoroughly enjoy this book ( and then you will want to read all the others ) Fast paced and full of twists and turns ..some you see coming and others you really dont . If you like dragon shifters and strong minded ladies who also love them then this is the book ( and series ) for you

Jordyn and Tars’ story the second one in this series, It's well-written and fast-paced with enough action and intrigue to satisfy any reader. I liked the characters and like seeing how the relationship between Jordyn and Tars developed. It was lovely to see her open up with Tars especially after what she had been through.

I liked the lighthearted moments as well they brought a smile to my face. I'm loving this series and looking forward to the next book and learning more about the struggle between the fae and the dragons.

Jordyn worked in the records department in the basement and loved her job. Tars was there to find what had happened years ago during a war in a sealed vault. They kept reading the books but couldn’t find anything until they found a wall not solid and found their answer. They got to the mountain in time and he told her that his dragon said that she was his mate. Great book! Ready for the next book!

Sweet and sexy love story

Jayden isn't really that interested in finding a love, her last relationship ended in disaster. Tars Rixa is on a mission to find out what secrets have been hidden about the last confrontation with the fae. I
Wonderful characters that are well written, and intriguing. I loved the witty, and sometimes funny interactions. Some exciting battles, and surprising twists in the plot.

The second book in the Dragons of Mount Rixa series a well written story with a very good storyline, that kept me turning pages. Jordyn Hall is the records custodian for Five Peaks she meets dragon shifter Tars Rixa when he comes to her for help in finding out about his clan's past. I enjoyed reading this story of suspense, danger, evil Fae, and romance. This story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The author has returned us to our friends in Five Peaks and introduced us to some new people. Tars, dragon, is tasked with trying to find out what caused a war between the fae and dragons seventy years ago. He connects with Jordyn, researcher for the town, and they have more of a connection than either of them realize. The story keeps us turning the pages with suspense, danger, action and love.

Loved this book. Tars is a dragon shifter on Mount rixa and his sister is the clan leader and all he wants is to be on the strike team but once again he doesn't make it but now now tasked with an important task, Jordyn works in city hall in the basement with the old records and when she meets tars her heart skipped a beat. Can she let herself love again?

The mystery going on in Mount Rixa is getting heated. Jordyn had a bad experience in her last relationship, therefore she is skittish. An unwanted mission put Tars in close contact with her. He recognized her as his mate but had to proceed slowly on top of everything going on in his clan. Can she overcome her past experience to give him a chance and save the town she loves?

Backpedaling

I am writing here. If you haven’t already read A Mate to Treasue and the following books you haven’t started at the beginning of the series. Mind you when I read the book one of DRAGONS OF MOUNT RIXA I wasn’t at all lost but here near the end of book two I realized that I missed a previous series. Upon research I found that RIXA is the last series. So I’m off to read the beginning series and work my way back here. 😷

Quite the turn of events

One of the best turns of events of the series, I refuse to describe here because I also refuse to include any spoilers. Suffice it to say that the challenges just continue to grow. For the romantics among you, the story of Tars and Jordyn is interesting. The place they meet is quite unexpected.

While this book can be read alone, its far more fun to start at the beginning with the House of Aterna.

Love it.

The characters are enjoyable and relatable. I have been reading this series for awhile and enjoying the dragon packed action and the romance. If you want to read this book it is wise to read the rest first. It helps to understand the villain in the story not to mention the series as a whole.

Love this series!! Tars has to find out what is going on with the fae before the trial. To do that he ends up at City Hall and meets Jordyn who works in the basement with all the records. This is a sweet romance with some action at the beginning, then all action towards the end.
