Take a peak behind the world of Big Pharma with this debut novel from Bruce Hewett. Set amongst the picturesque backdrop of Sydney Harbour and the Fiji Islands, this fast paced story weaves an intricate and interesting story that keeps you guessing right until the end!

I loved how the story is told from multiple perspectives and how relevant the concept of the business behind vaccines is in our current world!

Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys character lead, crime dramas and really hope there is a part two!!!!

I really enjoyed reading this novel that took me to Fiji and Sydney and introduced likeable and well developed characters, even the antagonists had redeeming qualities. It encompasses big pharma, scientific discoveries of a plant with so many benefits and other qualities that pique the interest of a Sydney crime syndicate. Fast paced and a great read from first time author Bruce Hewett. I am looking forward to reading his next novel!

This book is a solid 3.5 stars ( and I am a hard marker who saves my big ratings for the very very best). This debut novel has a lot going for it. Interesting plot written by someone whose insider knowledge of big pharma and of the settings of Fiji and Sydney shows through in the detail and the various story pathways. It is straightforward in its presentation with some good twists and turns. Good to see some flawed characters redeem themselves. A good simple piece of entertainment.
