Can a dragon shifter help his mate find out the truth about her heritage?
The Island Girl All my life, I wondered where I came from. I grew up in paradise, on a small island off the coast of Brazil. The lone survivor of a horrific plane crash, my family found me when I was only a baby. The young couple took me in, and made me one of them. But I was not a typical child. I never got sick or injured. I was faster and stronger than everyone in my family. My family kept me safe. They urged me to keep my abilities secret. So I lived my life in the shadows, concealing what I can do. One day a gorgeous man shows up as a guest at my hotel. But Owen is more than a man. He’s like me, and he shows me a world I’ve never dreamed of. I’ve spent so long hiding. Can I let this sexy shifter have a place in my life?
The Pilot Dragon Shifter I grew up in the Canadian wilderness. My clan feared those who were different. They forced us to keep to ourselves, and never mix with outsiders. But as a small child, a plane caught my eye. I knew then that I belonged in the clouds. A pilot’s license made my dream come true. But my family shunned me. They cast me out of our home, and told me to never come back. I’ve learned to cope with the loss of my clan. On a secluded Brazilian island, I meet a woman who grabs my attention. Lucia is a shining star, and she lights up my world. My beautiful mate is a mystery to me. She isn’t human, but she isn’t a dragon either. I vow to help her find the truth about her heritage. But neither of us anticipated that we’d face an outside threat. Now instead of searching for the truth, I’m fighting for our lives.
As they search for clues about her past, a pilot must protect his wolf shifter mate from a dangerous enemy.
I began writing short stories for family and friends. My vivid imagination and love of mysteries and romance eventually led me to following my own dreams of becoming a published author.
I am big time foodie and a huge fan of Nigella Lawson. I have an endless love for chocolates. As a mother of two beautiful girls who are obsessed with donuts and fairy tale stories. I love taking mini weekend vacation or spending quality time at home with family and friends.

The tenth book in the series brings Lucia and Owen's story. The author brings a cast of strong characters centering around Lucia and Owen and moves the story fluidly with her vividly painted scenes. She pulled me in with all the action and intrigue as well as the suspense and romance and delivers another entertaining story. I loved this book and would recommend reading.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Right after I finished a book in this series, I was always left wondering who or what our next protagonist would be. Just as I began to read the story, I began to make guesses from the traits our protagonist exhibits (I guess it becomes quite a mystery story for me) and then when the truth is revealed, it just pressed in the fact that our dragon is just perfect for his mysterious mate. and what a love story it is.
Another fabulous dragon shifter romance by this amazing author! This intriguing story is filled with action and suspense. Lucia and Owen have this amazing chemistry between them. The entertaining story is a real page turner and it had me glued to my kindle.
I really enjoyed this book. I’m glad Owen finally found a family that deserves him as his family/clan are a bunch a complete and utter a*seholes. The chemistry between Owen and Lucia was great. Owen left his backwards clan years ago after they basically kicked him out all because he wanted to be a pilot and they shun anything they view as outsider especially humans. He’s way better off without them anyways. Lucia has lived on the island with her adoptive family, she knows that she’s different and so do her family and they’ve always taught her to keep her abilities hidden as they want to protect her. She’s been surrounded by love, support and acceptance her whole life.
Owen has recently started flying the South American Route and he walks into the small hotel that he’s booked at a feels the presence of another shifter, one he hasn’t felt before and that is when Lucia, the owner walks down the stairs, their eyes lock and they both feel an instant attraction. After Owen asks Lucia what Clan she’s from she knows that he’ll be able to give her answers about what she is. These accepted that they were attracted to each other without denying how they feel.
I loved how much Owen was happy to help Lucia find the answers she seeks about where she came from. Owen calls on his new dragon friends/found family who help tell Lucia that she’s a wolf shifter and to help track down her long lost family in Wyoming. I enjoyed meeting Mason, who was basically adopted by Lucia’s biological family/wolf pack, even though he’s a dragon shifter and still has a clan. It was heartbreaking hearing about losing his wife at only 28 years old when she had a brain aneurism. I’m looking forward to reading his story and hopefully he finds a way to be truely happy, as he totally deserves it. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
This was a really good story. Owen and Lucia It followed a slightly different storyline than previous books, which was refreshing. Owen the dragon shifter who has left his oppressive, backward clan and has chosen to live alone. Lucia the island girl who knows she’s something different than her adoptive family, but has no clue what she truly is. Owen knows early on that Lucia is a shifter. She’s not a dragon, but she’s not completely human either. The one thing he does know is he craves being close to her, and his dragon thinks she’s his mate. Lucia has an instant attraction to Owen. When she’s near him sparks fly. She’s knows he’s as different as she is, and is hoping he can give her answers to her true identity. These two didn’t fight their attraction for each other. They were accepting of each other and willing to go above and beyond for the other. Owen taps into his new dragon friends and with their help, they head to Wyoming to introduce Lucia to her long lost family. It was all very happy and enlightening. Until the truth comes out about her mother, and the reason Lucia was orphaned. Family always has the ability to create drama. Tension runs high, and rash, impulsive decisions are made, which leads to a bit of drama between Owen and Lucia. It’s quickly resolved and these two head straight into that happy ever after. This was a quick easy read. I liked the characters, and their story. I did miss catching up with the earlier couples. Even though they are all together at the end of the book, we really didn’t get any information about them. I miss those early characters. I’ll read the next book.
This was an absolutely amazing book to read, I enjoyed all the characters old and new coming together again when one of them is in need. Lucia Fernandez has lived an amazing life with her adoptive parents, they have always had her back and made sure she didn’t show how really special she was because nor everyone would be kind. Run her own hotel business was great but she always wondered who she really was and did she have any family looking for her. Owen has lead a lonely life before leave his clan because he wanted a normal life without harsh rules about other shifters that are not dragons or humans that are scum according to his clan and now being a pilot he gets to see the world and it’s a beautiful place. Now on a couple of days layover in Brazil he stays at this bed and breakfast and when he meets the owner the gorgeous Lucia he is smitten and sparks fly between them and they end up spending all there time together. When he asks her what kind of shifter she is she cannot answer him because she doesn’t know, he tells her he is a dragon shifter and then shows her and she is captivated by him and asks for his help that he offered to find out who she really is. Garret, Eli, Bryne are just a few old faces there to help them on there way and to finally give Lucia the answers she has been looking for her hole life. With some drama unfold before them can they have a future together or will evil stand in there way.
While this book can be read as a total stand alone do yourself a favour and read the earlier books in the series as the many characters that you meet in this book are in earlier books just as Owen was in them. Like all of Brittany's books the story flows well and has enough heat to maybe make your kindle seat a little

Owen is a dragon shifter who left his isolated backwards clan to become a commercial pilot. He struggles with his isolation and lack of connection. While on leave he meets Lucia on an island in Brazil. Lucia was the sole survivor of a plane crash and knows she’s more than human but has no other information. She has been raised by a large, loving, protective human family. When Owen meets Lucia they feel an instant connection and they agree to leave the island on a quest to discover what kind of shifter Lucia is and where she came from. On the way to their HEA, Owen and Lucia experience sweet moments, strong friendships, steamy moments, dangerous times, and loving families. I love the hope, acceptance, and celebration that is the underlying theme in all the books in this series. I am looking forward to the next shifter who is welcomed into the fold.
The author has given us wonderful characters that include dragons, wolves, witches and humans. Lucia has been raised on an island and been told by her family to keep her capabilities a secret. All she knows is that she can persuade people to do what she wants them to and that she is stronger and faster than most people. When Owen, dragon, meets her, he knows that she is not human and sets out to help her find her true heritage. The story keeps you turning the pages with unanswered questions, danger, fear, action and love.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Owen arranges to stay on an isolated island meeting Lucia the owner of the B&B. Pilot and Dragon shifter Owen arranges to take a vacation between flights and goes to an isolated island booking into a B&B. He is surprised by his reaction the the woman at the desk who finds out is Lucia the owner of the place. Lucia had been found as a baby after a plane crash and bought up by an island couple as their child but as she had grown they had realize she was not a normal human child but had strange abilities.. Owen scents her as another shifter but not a dragon and soon his dragon is calling her mate. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
love Brittany White's books. Every time this woman writes a book I can't wait to read it. This book is no different. Owen, is a dragon shifter, he is also a pilot. Rejected by his clan he is a lone shifter keeping his true nature a secret. When he meets Lucia, he knows she is his mate. Lucia, isn't a dragon shifter but she isn't a human shifter either. Finding out her heritage is important. But what's even more important is to find what sinister evil is hiding in the shadows. What an incredible book. Remember if you want to read a book you can't put down, you have to pick it up first.
This series keeps getting better and better. Love these spin offs from the original Irish dragon brothers. But they all keep making an appearance. Owen is the pilot that is isolated from his clan. A clan that is not acceptable to change. Lucia knew she was different from the rest of her adopted island family but couldn’t explain it. When Owen has a layover on the island he scents she is not human. Discovering who she really is and fighting the attraction between them leads to a fantastic story.
I received this book free from the author for an honest review.
Another sweet romantic story for this series. It’s a good enjoyable read. Both Owen and Lucia are matched by family baggage. Owen’s family are upset with his job choice. Lucia was lost as a baby and doesn’t even know her family history so Owen agrees to help her find out. There is a good happy ending for these two and the other characters are there to join them. Read On!
I really liked this Dragon Owen he is one of my favourites I think, so kind but his birth clan is so not nice poor dragon. I was hoping she would turn out to be a dragon.need more female dragons. I thought she was going to be a lost clan member of the two Dragon brothers.you would think her wolf ant would tell her what her birth name was?this is a tragic tell.her poor mum and dad
Pilot Dragon’s Island Girl (Irish Dragon Shifter Brothers Book 10) by Brittany White. Dragon shifter pilot Owen books in to a B&B for a lay over and meets the owner Lucia who is a shifter and his mate. Her adopted family had found her in the sea after a plane crash when she was a baby. Owen thinks she is a wolf shifter so takes her to a pack he knows off and finds they are her family. Trouble comes in the form of Owen’s family and Lucia’s mother’s coven.
I chose to read and review this book. I am a fan of this author and love this series a lot. I have enjoyed reading each one. This is a well-written book with amazing characters. I liked Lucia and Owen's story. It is filled with passion romance suspense action. I recommend itas well as the whole series so far.
With lots of adventure, action, suspense and family. Owen wants to spread his wings so he becomes a pilot where he eventually meets Lucia. She isn’t ‘human’ and wants to find her family. Will Owen be able to help her find them and will she allow him too? Wonderful characters and very well written story.
I received this as an arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Great Characters and story this is the 10th book in the series. This one has drama, action, suspense. Owen is a pilot and meets Lucia on a stop over he knows she is not human but not what and Lucia does not know either as she was adopted. Loved this story and the mystery.
I voluntarily agreed to review this product. My review is entirely my own opinion.
He left his backwards clan to live his life the way he wanted to. He's met some other shifters, witches and even aliens. He's seeing that they call all live together and escape the beliefs that they can't mix. She's not normal and has to hide her abilities until he visits then her life turns upside down.
He is a lone dragon. He left his clan in Canada because of their ways. She does not know what she is. She was the lone survivor of a plane crash as an infant and was hidden by the people of the island. They realise she is different as a child and teach her to hid what she can do. Even more action and suspense in this book.
Lucia's past is a mystery, found in the ocean alone as an infant she's always known she is different but not the reason why. Owen has been away from his clan for years because he doesn't agree with their policies. Can these two solve the mystery of Lucia's birth and be reunited with their families? I love the mystery surrounding Lucia, Owen and their families.
This was a fantastic Dragon Shifter Romance! Lucia and Owen are both wonderful characters and they have amazing chemistry. The story is entertaining, filled with action and intrigue. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend to anyone who enjoys reading shifter romance.
Every single book connected to the Irish dragons is an absolute joy to discover and read. Owen has a special place and then for Lucia to be placed in his path sheer bravery joy and love.
I so love this series and this latest book didn't disappoint. It kept me truly interested and sometimes on the edge of my seat. Love how our pilot finally found his mate and a loving family too. But also love having more characters added as we read along. Looking forward to next book for sure.
What a story about finding out about yourself after being adopted. There is a dragon who knows she is a shifter but she knows she is different but not what she is. A journey to find out with lots of help from dragon shifters, wolf shifters and witches.
I loved the characters. I was able to feel their sense of joy and pain. I don’t feel that with every author. I will be looking for more from this author. Keep them coming.
Enjoyed this book. Had a nice storyline. Appealed to my romantic side. Would recommend this book and series to anyone. I am beginning to really not like these witches though. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Another intriguing story in this series. I've never been disappointed ( well only in I don't have a dragon falling in love with me) and have the "bad" habit of reading each book straight through even when I should be doing other things.
It took me a while to get into this book and I thought it needed further development of the characters and the story. I felt that the author needs to work on the character interactions and their relationship dynamics but the overall story was good.
