I actually picked this up for the opportunity to garner four Continuing Education Creadits (CEUs) for reading this and answering a quiz at the end. It has proved to be mouch more than that; at my age (65), and facing retirement, I'm concerned about such things as quality of life and where my energies will go, not to mention financial concerns. This little book (you can read it in a couple hours) addresses all of them, written by a geriatric physicain and nutrition specialist, so she's seen those who thrive and don't and what some of the factors between them are. She spices the sections up with quotes, one of which particularly struck me: "There is more to life than increasing its speed" (Ghandi) I'd recommend this for just about anyone, but certainly for anyone over 60.
