Remy is on the run, and he doesn’t know where to go. He’s tried running before, and somehow he is always found. His abusive boyfriend seems to always know where he is. He may have taken the beating of his life, but this time, he got away. Todd was drunk, and Remy walked out the door and didn’t look back. Now sitting in a bus station in Eastport, he has a decision to make. He sees someone he knows, someone, who could give him away, and he makes the fateful choice to take a seat next to a strong and mysterious looking stranger. That decision will change Remy’s life forever.

Zayn is doing Seamus a favor. Seamus, as an enforcer, has to meet and welcome new members of the Wolf Pack when they arrive in Eastport. Zayn is a Beta and doesn’t usually tag along, but Seamus’ social skills sometimes leave a lot to be desired. It seems like a normal winter night at the Eastport Station until Zayn feels the presence of the man who just took a seat next to him and breathed in the most glorious scent. This man, this stranger, is his mate. Just as soon as the realization hits him, the man is off, running to catch the next bus going God knows where. Zayn is hot on his heels. He can’t let his mate, his forever love, slip through his fingers.

There is danger around every curve and new discoveries to be made. Remy needs to learn to trust a stranger, and Zayn needs to win the heart of a fragile man wounded too many times by those who claimed to love him. Can Zayn save Remy before it’s too late? Can Remy accept the love and future Zayn wants to give him?

Fate finds a way.

I have to admit that this is not one of my favorite series by Mr. Stretke, and this book was probably better than the others. I’m not comfortable with how Zayn claimed his mate and then didn’t bring it up until he was forced to. He might have been assured that, being mates, it’d all work out, but consent is a big deal. Especially how Remy was still in the process of escaping from and recovering from some serious physical and emotional abuse.

Paranormal gay romance

Remy is running from an abusive boyfriend and while waiting in the bus station sees his boyfriend's employee trying to approach him. He quickly sits next to a large but friendly looking man, Zayn a wolf shifter who recognizes Remy as his mate. Then Remy races away to catch an outgoing bus and Zayn has no choice but to follow, gets on the bus, snags a seat next to him and engages him in reluctant conversation. The employee Galen, is also on the bus and tries to get to Remy which Zayn intercepts. When the bus gets disabled, Zayn calls for a car to pick him and Remy up and takes them back to Bay Harbor. Zayn starts wooing Remy and learns why Remy was running and offers him safety. What no one knows is that Remy is still in great danger from the ex-boyfriend and Galen. You need to read the book to see if Remy is open to mating a wolf and what will happen when he is found by the ex. Good story, exciting finish and a HEA.

Another Stretke winner

Every month I eagerly wait for this author's books to come out. This month's did not disappoint.
This is part of the Bay Harbor series. We finally get Beta Zayn's story. Zayn's mate is on the run from an abusive ex when they meet. He takes him home so he can take care of him and the pack can protect him. The love and adventure takes off from there in true Stretke style.
This is a very sweet paranormal love story between two men. One happens to turn into a wolf. This not a mpreg.
*There are some violent scenes in this book. Also descriptions of domestic violence.

No one does shifters, vampires or fated mates like B A Stretke. The stories are always fun to read, absorbing and quick. And Zayn and Remy's book is no exception.
Remy is on the run from an abusive ex. And Zayn is there to help him. It doesn't hurt that Remy is his fated mate and that he'll do anything to keep him safe.
The bad guys are cruel and not very bright. And after a bit of dramatic danger, easily taken care of.
An enjoyable read for when you want something light and quick.

I truly enjoyed Zayn and Remy's story, although, I didn't like what happened to Remy at the beginning of this book. Remy had finally found his home with Zayn and the two were so perfect together. I loved how the villains were dealt with, which was exactly what they deserved. The writing style was excellent and the plot was heartfelt and enthralling. I just love this author's books.

BETA READER PLEASE!!!!.

This story desperately needs corrections on punctuation. Stilted talking. Same old Tall , muscled hero saving same old beautiful, "little", defenseless , White man. How about a different size, color, and some defense training? Black belt or boxing, either will do.

Great read

Loves it; I’m intrigued about Master Cabot and I’m hoping for a story with the Hellhound sheriff, Kass Keller. I love how this author can do serious character but he can also give you funny and quirky. I can’t wait for the next one.

Finding his beta mate, was a revelation.

I like this bata/mate genre and this storyline in particular. Finding your true love is a journey itself. Opening your eyes to what's around you maybe hard as well as rewarding.

Great series

These books have a bit of a formula to them, but it is one that works for me. Hurt/comfort with just a bit of angst.

Books should be cheaper or on KU

BA Stretke is a guilty pleasure…as in, I feel guilty enjoying his books because they’re really poorly edited and most of the time, the sentences are run-ons. However, the plot of the books is something I happen to enjoy. I would definitely read more of his books if they didn’t cost a ridiculous amount of money for what is basically a novella. Authors that have super long series HAVE to know that not everyone is going to take a chance on purchasing each book, especially at $2.99 a pop, unless they were in on the series from the start. IF his books were on Kindle Unlimited, I’d gladly read all of them. I might even be more apt to buy whole series if they were only $0.99. Heck, I’ll even take bundling a certain amount of books together for a cheaper price! I just can’t justify spending $3 on each one for what you get.
