This book was about the life of Hitler and what he did during the time he was ruling. He did very cruel things to the Jews because he had a hatred toward them. The Nazis were the followers of Hitler and they wrote everything done that took place. "Hitler and the Nazis" tell the story of how everything started from beginning to end. I think that this book is useful if you are doing a research paper about Hitler and/or the Nazis because it provides a lot of knowledge/information that can provide more information. Even though it is good for a research paper, this book can give you a lot of new information about Hitler if you are curious about this topic.

I like the book Hitler and the Nazis: A History in Documents. I like it because it has more than Hitler is bad, Hitler is dumb… In this book, there is quotes, information, a timeline, a index, a glossary and a website glossary. Second I like that there is a lot of information on the margins. "By 1923, it made more sense to use German banknotes as fuel or as wallpaper than to buy anything with the worthless paper currency"(Crew 33). These were two reasons why I love this book.
I rated this book five stars. I rated it five stars because it has a lot of information. The things I knew before about Hitler were only the Introduction. Second, the author gives so much details so you cannot not understand. "At 1:03 it starts up again until 5:24"(Bavarian textile worker). These were two reasons why I love this book.
I like this book and I rated it five stars. I rated it five stars because there is a lot of helpful pictures. I could not understand how concentration camps were, and just with a picture I knew what the author meant about horror. Second there are also many good quotes. "In the Jewish residential district there are around 27000 apartments with an average of 2 1/2 rooms each. This produces an occupation density of 15.1 persons per apartment and 6-7 persons per room"(Schön 127). These were two reasons followed with examples of why I love this book.

I rated the book Hitler and the Nazis five stars and I checked it out because of few reasons. First I wanted to know more about Hitler's life. I wanted to know what he thought. Second, I checked it out because I think that it's important to review the past so the future won't be the same thing. "Past is the key to the future". These were two reasons to explain why I took this book.
I rated this book five stars because of two simple reasons. First I like that there are quotes in some margins. "I would not like to be a Jew in Germany" (Goring 83). Second, I think that it's also good to have quotes because it makes the reader know how people feel. Where I am, Hitler is feeling as a great conqueror and he thinks that he has to rule the world. These were two reasons and examples to explain why I love this book.

Second I think that there is so much to learn about Hitler. For the WWII, there is like eighty pages. These were two reasons to explain why I love reading about this topic.

I love the book about Hitler and the Nazis. I love it because I think that everybody can learn about Hitler. "Nobody ever messed around with Hitler"(Hermann Goring). Second I think that everybody should learn about Hitler. He was a very interesting person. These were two reasons to explain why I think that everybody can and should learn about Hitler and The Nazis.
I love this book. I love it because it has very organized sections. There is the text and the margins. I love it also because there are interesting websites. "www.ddaymuseum.org"(Crew 161). These were two reasons to explain why I like this book a lot.
I like this book but I also dislike it. I dislike it because there is too much text. It's way too compact. Second, I dislike it because the chapters are too long. One is like 20 pages! These were two reasons to explain why I dislike this book.

Hitler and the Nazis: A history in documents is very interesting. I learned that the Germany was called the German Empire until the end of the second world war. It was divided into regions. I also learned that Germany had a depression, witch was called the Great Depression. "During the worldwide Great Depression, witch hit Germany in 1929, no Weimar leader was able to solve the central economic problem, mass unemployment" (Crew 19). This is what I learned in the book Hitler and the Nazis: A history in documents.
I discovered new things from the book that I am currently reading. In the book the author describes that Jews in concentration camps were imprisoned. "If a prisoner attempts to escape, he is to be shot without warning…" (SS Service Regulations). I also acknowledged that Jews in concentration camps were asked to take a shower. But instead of water going out of the shower head, poisonous gas came out. This is the life of Jews in concentration camps that is described in the book.
I studied a lot of things with the book Hitler and the Nazis. I know now that Hitler was a soldier in World War one. "In his life as a politician, Hitler emphasized that he had once been an ordinary soldier in the trenches, just like millions of other Germans" (Crew 40). Chapter 7 describes how Hitler killed himself and his wife. He suicided himself before the police arrested him to avoid getting to court. Out of this book I understood that living in Germany during that period was tough, particularly for Jews and soldiers.

I think that the author is very specialized about Hitler. He wrote four books about this topic. His books are about 200 pages, and big pages! The author is a Social Studies professor. He teaches at the Cornell University, so he knows a lot! These were two reasons to explain why the author is specialized about Hitler and the Nazis
Hitler was born in a small Austrian town. His father, Alois, was very strict, and people know that he frequently hit Adolf when he was young. This might be the reason why Hitler was strict and brutal. At school, Hitler was not a good student and he was lazy. At the age of fifteen, Adolf left school without any qualifications for college. At eighteen, Hitler's mother, Clara, died of cancer. Witnesses say Adolf laid for hours staring at his mother's dead body. Hitler wanted to be artist (in 1908) and his Jew professor did not accept him, and that is how since then Hitler hated Jews.
In 1914, Adolf tried to join the Austrian Army. Hitler was very happy when World War I was declared. He thought he finally had something to do. When he came to power in 1933, he chose to be in the National Socialist German Workers Party. Hitler then created concentration camps in the same year. He had no pity for Jews.

I wonder why it is so difficult for humans to live together in peace and harmony?
World War II is one of the atrocious period in the worlds history. Millions died, thousands were forced to leave their homes just because some fanatics thought that they are biologically superior than others. The relevant historical photographs in each section give the reader clearer picture of appalling situation at that time. Scrupulous work of author I think

A good book to know about the Nazi history.

From this novel, I have learnt a great deal. I didn't know anything from Hitler. One of the major things i'm liking so far in the novel is that there's a lot of photos. I can't beleive how many rules there we're for Jewish people. Basically they couldn't do anything.

This archivist's collection of historic documents pertaining to the rise of Nazi power in Germany and the Holocaust is very informative. I wish that some of the full translations were available for the documents, however, the excerpts that were translated to English were very eye-opening.
