This inspiring handbook will also guide you through short, illustrated yoga sequences adapted for all abilities, plus give you breathing techniques, meditations and other proven mindful practices that will help to nourish and support your mind and body.
Yoga has been an invaluable tool to helping me maintain my physical and mental health over the past 18 months so when I was given the opportunity to read and review Yoga Happy I jumped at the chance.
I had expected a typical yoga manual with maybe some tips for self care but this book proved to be much more. As well as explanations of postures and 5 yoga flows for different circumstances, the book also has in depth information about the principles of yoga and how these can be incorporated both on and off the mat.
Referring back to her own experiences and struggles with mental health, Hannah shows the incredible changes a mindful yoga practice can bring. Even seemingly simple changes taking just a few injures a day can have a huge positive impact.
I really savoured this book and it will be one I refer back to frequently as well as one I’ll recommend to anyone needing to find peace in their life, or who want to learn more about yoga.
Thank you to Hannah and Quadrille for sending me a copy of this book.
